I still don't know how to process what happened last night. I'll say I was spoiler-ed, but it definitely didn't go down the way the spoiler had it... and there are a lot of children out there who were spitting vitriol at Morgan who very clearly knew the spoiler too, but now double dog definitely owe Morgan an apology. I was gagged. I was gagged when only 3 handmaids showed up last week.... I was gagged when the shady producers just had the other two handmaids be late... I was gagged at how super uncomfortable the confrontations were... if I would have been in the room, I would have been hiding under the table like I was freakin Laganja Estranga herself. I haven't gagged this much since I was a young and very inexperienced homosexual, let me tell you that.... I was GAGGED when I realized that what I had been spoiler-ed on was going to go down SO. VERY. DIFFERENTLY. I loved the skits, I thought the returning queens "Sitting on a secret" was a lot more fun that "Drag up your life" Adam Glambert is forever my boo... hey boo... call me! I hope Morgan wins everything at this point.

The Bitchelor needs to be a recurring challenge. I lived, I died, and I was brought back to life... so help me drag jeebus. Is it just me, or is anyone else actively looking forward to more football locker room / shower scenes? anyone? just me? okay... carry on. - That said, I appreciate the imagery on the show, it forces you to pay attention and not fiddle with your phone, or what not like so many of us are prone to do even when watching something we actively like... From the subtle-ish blood droplets left on a chess piece to the wiggling of a tattoo on the coach's arm ... Who else thought that the tattoo was either coming off his arm and becoming corporeal, or he was turning into the dragon?

I think there's still an opportunity to start the night out in bars with watch parties.... at least up here in MI, the bars don't really pick up until 10:30 or 11 ... it's super strange, because our bars are only open till 2a ... and I don't really see it being a problem in my second home Chicago, as the two bars that I can think of that would do viewings can and will most likely easily do them during Friday nights... (yay Roscoe's and SideTrack!) eta: Just verified with Roscoes and SideTrack, and they're both doing viewing shows on Friday nights for the season... so no sweat for me.

So many things to say about this topic. Lets start with my "hope there's no comment about 'the help' this year" ... It was worse... I"m not sure that Brit Brit realized how politically tone-deaf she was when she suggested Bob put on a hoodie to rob people... and michelle and bob made the remarks about the skittles and iced tea.. i'm 90% sure that on second watch, Brit Brit didn't get the reference. Thankfully bob played along masterfully. Both smear campaigns were pretty awesome. I saw an interview last night with Kim Chi where she kept saying "I'm just here to disappoint..." and while she was doing it with a wink wink, I think that there's still a large part of her that believes that.. which made me sad... almost as sad as she looked all alone practicing the words to the LSFYL in that sad clown makeup. As part of gay culture, yes, there is a majority of people you see on grindr/scruff/jack'd/zrbrt/wtever that is looking for their clone to bone.. I've even seen it crassly put as "I'm on a sexual paleo diet, no chocolate, rice, beans, or fruits" and I'm glad that she pointed it out, but I don't know that it was near acerbic enough. The LSFYL was amazeballs... watching the slow-mo in untucked, I don't think that the broken beads were intentional.. I"m not sure she realized she had them caught when she was down on one knee... but intentional or not, it was a thrilling moment.. .. at the end, I didn't see Thorgy as much holding Chi Chi's hand in a triumphant gesture.. I saw Chi Chi trying to put her hand in front of Thorgy's face a la Miss Ross and Thorgy wasn't having it.

Oh FFS... I sure hope there aren't any references to "The help..." this season.

So there's a bit of T from Acid Betty that puts Britt Britt in perspective...evidently he (Derrick) was continuing his workout regiment and also not eating a lot, so when he got some booze in him, the surprise bitch leapt out making him the hardest and most volatile to deal with. With that in mind watching this episode was illuminating. I will say, in her defense, she did get some good reads off in the library "I did don't know there were so many shades of ashy..." Of the reads I thought maybe Thorgy was the weakest... Of the maxi challenge, I think the bottom two were right, and as soon as that wig was flipped I said my goodbyes to Robbie Turner.
