I don't think he got sprung though... After rewatching it again this past week I think he went to jail. It seems, for the most part anyway, all the characters get what they deserve in the end. Season 4 is the least in this batch IMHO. But it isn't horrible by any stretch.

I haven't even bothered with season 4.

So I just finished re - watching this season*. I believe it was the 3rd time through for me. Its been awhile since I'd seen season 3 though. This time I understood that Varga didn't get away. No one came to get him, correct? Nikki - dammit Nikki!! I loved her story arc !! I really wanted her to make it. Also felt it a shame that she shot a trooper. The way she and Mr Wrench handled Varga was brilliant. * I actually just binged seasons 1-3 in the last two weeks. I'd seen them all before but forgot how they ended. ;) Didn't he end up being the guy who killed the wrong Stussy to start the ball rolling?

i love this show!

i have been binge watching the first two season for the last two days. i didn't care too much at first but then i kept watching... i really like this show. the cliff hanger endings seem to get bigger and bigger each episode. that said i think @ganesh is correct: let the first ship through and then block the harbor... or can his cannon reach the blockade further out?
