  1. Oh, I always just watch the dances on YT. I'm not sitting through 2 hours of this shit every week. I don't have the patience.
  2. I have no problem with Derek as a dancer. He's probably one of my favorites in that regard so I'm always happy to see him dance on this show. But the obvious favoritism on this show does annoy me and always will. And if it annoys me I can only imagine how bothersome it is for people who actually don't like him. Not only are we getting him and his sister but his cousin competing as well this season. I mean come on. To be fair, I felt the same way about Max's brother coming on at first too. As for Riker, I knew it was only a matter of time before a Lynch made it onto this show due to the Hough connection. I just always figured it would be Ross(who also did dance competitions growing up) considering he's the most famous of the Lynchs. He even has his own Disney show and a successful movie franchise with them for the Teen Beach Movie series. I have a feeling Ross probably said no and so we get one of the brothers nobody cares about instead.
  3. She wants to do both though she might not have as big a role as she has had in the past due to being the lead on ACS. ACS is supposely about to start shooting though so imagine they would be done by the time AHS starts up anyway. Same for Emma Roberts. And I'm willing to bet Ryan already plans to bring on more alums from his other shows to both these new projects. All that said, both these shows might not even get past the pilot stage. We'll see. Though I don't see ACS not making it to air. Scream Queens I'm skeptical about. Ryan likes to work with the same company of actors(usually depending on their schedules) but I don't see why we wouldn't see a few new faces too. We always do. He brought on Bassett, Bates, Roberts, Huston and Sidibe in S3. And we got a few new people this year as well. I have no doubt Finn Wittrock will return next season if he isn't booked up. I see he's already got two movies in post-production. I don't see Conroy not doing it next season since she has been in all previous seasons. I think the only reason Lily Rabe didn't have a bigger role this season is because of her schedule. She even had to pass on Mockingjay. Whether or not she returns to a bigger role next season will likely depend on whether or not her show The Whispers is a hit and/or if the network will let her do both shows at once.
  4. She has said she plans to do both. I agree that Cuba is an um interesting choice for O.J. but I'm most interested in who they are going to get to play Johnny Cochran.
  5. I still have yet to hear how big of a role Ksenia Solo is going to have this season. Or even if she's in it at all. She's kind of my only reason for wanting to finish this shit show out. That said, she's already on to greener pastures. She was added to the cast of the new season of Orphan Black and I couldn't be more happy for her. I see big things in her future. She was always the best actress on this show anyway. http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/s244/orphan-black/news/a612532/true-bloods-james-frain-lost-girls-ksenia-solo-join-orphan-black.html
  6. CT was by her side all the way up to the end. Whatever his many faults he really did care deeply for her. I'm sure he is taking this pretty hard. I've always liked Diem but I hadn't watched the Challenge regularly in a long time. I had no idea her cancer had returned so I was absolutely shocked to read about her passing today. RIP Diem.
  7. Liza Weil is listed as a series regular. She is also the only actor on the show who has been on all of Shonda's shows in some capacity. I don't think she is going anywhere just yet despite Annalise firing her. We know from the flashforwards that Annalise calls her at some point that night and given how subservient Bonnie is to her I'm willing to bet she goes running back to help her.
  8. LoL. I said the same thing tonight. Girl, slow down and enunciate your words. Why is Laurel crying over Frank like she's not also cheating on somebody. Girl, bye.
  9. If it were just about Lila wouldn't she have fired her earlier in the day after she felt blindslided by Bonnie the first time? I think she fired Bonnie to get her out of that house because she had already planned to expose Sam later. Whether she meant for him to die that night remains to be seen but I truly believe she fired Bonnie for another purpose than just being pissed about Lila and Sam.
  10. After this episode, my new Bonnie/Annalise theory is that either Annalise has something on Bonnie or Annalise saved Bonnie in some way at some point and that is why she so loyal. She had that woman on her knees crying snot tears over her. There is no way in hell this is all about her being in love with Sam. I think they wanted us to believe that Bonnie was interested in Sam when really she's been ride or die for Anna this whole time. We already know Annalise knows she can pretty much order Bonnie around and she will do what she says. And Bonnie and the students are the ones who do all the work any way. Annalise needs Bonnie working in that office. She didn't fire her for any other reason other than she's got some plan under her sleeve. She is playing Bonnie. She is playing those students. The only one who looks close to figuring that out is Wes. I think he finally saw the light at the end of the episode when he realized Annalise probably told him about the baby because she knew he would run straight to Rebecca with that knowledge.
  11. Damn. I am so confused. I think I just blew up my own theory about who did what. So am I wrong in thinking Bonnie never really was in love with Sam this whole time. She was playing him for Annalise's sake. She sure looked pathetic on her knees crying and begging to Annalise. Is she in love with Annalise? What kind of hold does this woman have on her? Bonnie is whipped out of her mind over Annalise and for what. I couldn't believe Annalise fired her after all that but I'm think this is another one of Annalise's mind games and she's got some long con going on involving Bonnie and the students. I think she fired Bonnie for reasons that nothing to do with her being mad about her kissing Sam. So now I"m moving Annalise to the top of my list of suspects with Bonnie in second position. And that's only because I think Bonnie is sad enough to kill Sam hoping that would get her back in Annalise's good graces with him out of the way clouding her judgement.
  12. Meanwhile, all I can think about is when and how they are able to actually study or even go to any other classes at that college? It seems like they spend all their time working for Annalise. It was really glaring in this episode in particular where they spend all night there. How are they not failing their other classes?
  13. Asher is growing on me. He actually got some character development tonight beyond just being a dudebro stereotype. I actually wasn't surprised that Asher and Bonnie slept together. I called it the minute I saw Annalise pair him with her to go talk to that witness. Bonnie still intrigues me though because I still question her motives about damn near everything at this point. Why sleep with Asher? Did she feel sorry for him? Does she genuinely like him? Or is she sleeping with him for some other purpose? I guess we will have to wait until her episode. Bonnie laying into Laurel didn't really bother me because I think she was half-right about Laurel. Laurel is cheating on her boyfriend with Frank for whatever reason and I think Frank will be the one to get hurt in this situation. However, I don't think Bonnie's assessment of the type of person Laurel is in general is entirely accurate. I just took it as her jumping to conclusions because she's protective of Frank. I think she often talks to him the way she does because she is close to him and they just have that type of rapport. She was totally lying to Sam though about why she did what she did. I'm still confused about that particular relationship. The case of the week was pretty predictable. I knew Annalise would win the case. Is she going to win every case? Why exactly does Annalise need Sam? Is he that good in bed? He is not worth it girl. Have some dignity.
  14. Jane's father is absolutely hilarious. The way he pronounced his name to the desk clerk had me rolling. Petra's mom is probably the bad guy the cops are looking for. There is no way she is actually paralyzed. Years of soaps have me convinced that we will get that reveal sooner than later. General Hospital just did this with one of their new characters. Petra is growing on me though. You guys are right that it is clear we probably aren't supposed to root for her because she's one of the "bad guys" That said, I am definitely rooting for Luisa and Rose. It seemed pretty clear to me in this episode that they have a relationship that pre-dates Rose's marriage to her father so because of that I don't really have a problem with the affair. The fact that Rose doesn't want to divorce him even though she doesn't love him confirms my theory that she likely married him for his money and status and that's why she won't leave him for Luisa. I get more annoyed by Michael with each passing episode. It has nothing to do with actor and everything to do with the character. I'm just going to ahead and predict now that he and Petra will spend so much time together trying to cover up each others messes that they will eventually end up sleeping together.
  15. True. I'm also happy to see that we are seeing more and more gay actors playing straight characters and straight actors play characters without people making a big deal about it. For example, on Shondaland's other show Scandal they have gay actor Guillermo Diaz playing a straight character, lesbian actress Jasika Nicole playing his ex-wife and straight actor Jeff Perry playing a gay character and as far as I've seen these actors real life sexual orientation rarely comes up in interviews. I don't know what Falahee's real life orientation is and it doesn't matter to me. I do wish they would give Connor more to do besides using sex to help close a case though. Surely, he has more talents than that. I will say that Connor reminds me a lot of QaF's Brian Kinney and I wonder if that is intentional.
  16. This is my problem as well. I would have preferred if the writers weren't rushing to push these two together and instead took a slow-burn approach with them and allowed them to develop over the course of a season. Like you said, what we got Frank "marking" her as his next conquest and being called out on it by Bonnie. Then boom, all of a sudden they are angsty and she's cheating on her boyfriend with him. If they really want to go the bad boy tamed by his true love route with this couple why not actually pace the storyline out a bit more than the first few episodes. If these two actually had more scenes together maybe I wouldn't have such a problem with it but as of now I'm just not seeing the chemistry the writers want me to see. Wes and Rebecca aren't much better but at least they have had more actual conversations than Laurel and Frank have.
  17. Oh, it's guaranteed to be really dumb. There is no way that all of these characters aren't going to get away with it anyway, unless they plan on having a new cast next year. It will be interesting to see just how convoluted this whole thing gets before the end. I won't be bothered too much since I have many years of experience of putting up with Shonda and co.'s plot devices. As for who killed Lila, that person is likely to get off too. I just don't feel any connection to Lila. She's like one of those victims who dies at the opening of a Law and Order episode. The story really isn't about them at the end of the day. It's about the killer. I don't really care if the person gets away with it because I don't care about Lila since the writers have given me no incentive to care. Yes. There has to be some sort of personal story we are leading up to regarding Bonnie's tie to Annalise and/or Sam because their is a complete personality shift whenever she is in scenes with either one of those characters. Especially Annalise.
  18. Probably both. I think she loves him and wants to protect him despite his philandering ways. She met him that way so it's not like she can be too judgmental about it. She knows the kind of man she married. I don't see her turning on him even as the evidence piles up that he may have had something to do with Lila's death. What I can't tell is if she genuinely took Rebecca's case because Wes' words really resonated with her and she truly wants to help or if she's just keeping Rebecca close to find out what she knows before throwing her under the bus at a later date. Bonnie has implied that he has a history of sleeping around with the students so I don't get why he's hung up on Laurel specifically. What makes her so different from all the other girls he's banged? He barely knows anything about her.
  19. There is definitely a whole other side to Bonnie that hasn't been explored yet. I felt it in her scene with Annalise. I've noticed that Bonnie has no problem being assertive or abrasive with other characters but with Annalise she was timid, like she's afraid of her. Why is she is scared of Annalise? It can't just be because of Sam. IMO, Annalise isn't all that terrifying. It's not like she's Olivia Pope and has any real power or influence. And like others I question just how good of a lawyer she even is considering that Bonnie and the law students seem to be doing most of the scheming and grunt work for her. Not to mention the fact that Bonnie seems to know more of Annalise's secrets than anybody that she could expose at any time if she wanted to. So what does Annalise have on Bonnie? What is their relationship with each other that has Bonnie practically become another person around her? There has to be a reason Annalise keeps her around even though she has feelings for her husband. Bonnie must have some secrets of her own.
  20. I don't know how old Bonnie is supposed to be on the show but Liza Weil is 37 so I don't think it's too out of the realm of possibility if we are to believe the character is the same age as the actress. That said, Weil tends to always play younger than she is. I haven't made up my mind on the ex-wife theory yet. I do think it is very likely that she might have at least slept with him. There is no way that Annalise and Lisa were Sam's only affairs. I bet he's slept with many a student.
  21. Where do I start with this show..... Ugh. This show is really about to start shoveling Laurel/Frank down my throat. I can feel it. Maybe if they had more scenes together I would get it but right now it just seems too premature for Frank to be all about a woman he literally knows nothing about other than where she went to college. Now they are bringing him into Sam's murder. So Annalise was herself once Sam's mistress. Well, that explains quite a few things. Also, she knows about Bonnie and Sam. Whatever that relationship is. I still need more details on that. Is Bonnie just infatuated with Sam or was their relationship mutual at some time? And if Bonnie did have an affair with Sam, why would Annalise still keep her in her practice or want her anywhere near her husband? Another thing related to Bonnie is that Annalise knows that Bonnie was trying to protect Sam(obviously because she's in love with him) in regards to Nate so I'm even more sure of my theory that Bonnie likely killed Lila. Now I understand a little more why Wes gets even more attached to Rebecca. They know Annalise is lying and trying to protect Sam. The more we find out the more it is starting to make sense why these kids are desperate to cover up this murder. If Annalise finds out they had any part in Sam's murder or it's cover up she will bring down the wrath of God on them and they know it. ETA: I hadn't considered that. I was thinking she was another one of his affairs. Either that or her interest in him is one-sided. I'm still confused as to why Annalise would keep her around either way. But I guess if Bonnie was Sam's first wife and Annalise cheated with him maybe she keeps Bonnie employed there because she feels bad about taking her husband. I can't wait for the Bonnie episode so I can stop speculating.
  22. The actress played this kind of role on Emily Owens, M.D. too, only that character was way bitchier. At least I can find some redeeming qualities in Michaela. There is something about Wes that is a bit off to me and I have to wonder if that is done on purpose. Surely there is more to him than the naive, doe-eyed boy scout I am currently seeing. His manipulation of the others during these flash-forwards point to that.
  23. Connor isn't even the most sexually active character in a Shondaland production. If anything I would say he's about as active as everyone else in the Shonda-verse, which makes sense. And something tells me there were no similar articles about the sexual activity of straight characters like Mark Sloane or Amelia Sheppard, for example.
  24. I had originally balked at watching this show based on the premise and the network. Then I read an article that mentioned that Bridget Regan was playing the ex-lover of Luisa and immediately went searching the internet for a link to watch the pilot. It's like the universe is trying to apologize to me for all the subtext that never went anywhere on Legend of The Seeker. I'm glad I gave it chance because the bonus is that this show is actually really really good!
