  1. I watched one today where a couple with three young children moved to Taipei (he was born there, her parents were from there) from California. When they moved there he didn’t have a job lined up. What? Isn’t that what you do when you are single or married without children? At the end of the episode, hubby was “freelance consulting.” ?
  2. The realtor said it was in the university district. BTW, thanks for confirming my suspicion that it was probably formerly student housing.
  3. I’m at Ramsey Bolton levels of hatred for Hickey. I hope Hickey gets what he deserves like RB.
  4. “I keep meat on the counter for a week and eat it.” Yeah, right. ?
  5. Re: the couple who moved to Antwerp, wow, they sure had young kids (loved the red hair). Anyway, I loved the house they picked. Those stairs ought to get them in shape. The suburban house was lovely, but without a car she would be stuck there (unless there were buses). The place with the weird bathroom must have been built for uni students. Each bedroom had its own sink!
  6. I watched the episode with that annoying FeFe tonight (just got HGTV on my Comcast). Why did she want a tiny house if she refuses to use a ladder. And how much smaller can a vanity get?
  7. That was Blanky. He had asked Crozier for the forks and rope. It appears he wanted to make Tuunbaq suffer trying to eat him. ? That’s all I got!
  8. I know, but that scene made me fill Scroogey. Dad was probably out drinking away the rent money.
  9. Funny, I didn’t think she looked much like Uma.
  10. Threaten dismemberment while alive of another crew member (a lieutenant, maybe the one who gave the soliloquy) if he didn’t. Did they not even cook the meat? It looked raw. Please someone kill effing Hickey! I guess Toolbaq leaves him alone because he has no soul. Why can’t Goodsir slash his carotid artery with a scalpel? What will season 2 be about? The many rescue attempt voyages? Lady Franklin kept pressing for these for many years.
  11. I loved Michael Gambon. And those kittens!
  12. I’m terrible because my reaction to the poor German family was “Quit having kids you can’t feed”! ?
  13. The Germantown PD dropped the ball on the 911 call.
  14. I was screaming for Lucy to kill Emma. My neighbors must think I’m nuts.
  15. No Delores! ? Braddock blowed up good! He blowed up real good! ????
  16. Who was the woman who could speak Lakota, the one who escaped? That was Hansee who let the rest of the captives go and whispered to the other Hemsworth bro, wasn’t it?
  17. I’m not surprised either considering “Smash” had only one season. It was full of talent. Maybe if they hadn’t tried to make Katherine MacPhee the star of the show. Megan Hilty blew her away. And making Katherine MacPhee the Star.
  18. I used to live in Memphis (most of my adult life) so this episode brought back memories. I always thought Sherra did it. That interview she did with April did her no favors. I think Lorenzen had a good heart. The curse of too much fame and fortune at an early age struck him as it does many people. I chuckled at Germantown being referred to as a suburb of Memphis. I’m sure they loved that! ?
  19. Yeah, I rolled my eyes when the daughter complained about the loft in the second place. I was like “Seriously? All you would do in that space is sleep there when you visited.” I was thinking more about bears and coyotes when I said get a big dog. And I’m a city person who wouldn’t want to be somewhere like that with too much “peace and quiet”! ?
  20. Re: the lady in NC who wanted a tiny house, I liked the house she picked (bet the cats loved the spiral staircase and loft), but I couldn’t live out in the boonies like that. She needs to get an additional dog...a BIG dog!
  21. There didn’t appear to be a father in the picture at all. As for learning about the culture, as others noted, a lot of Dominicans live in the US, especially in NYC and south Florida. Vermont ::sigh::
  22. I went to grad school a few years ago (starting a new career) in Brattleboro, VT which is close to East Dummerston. It’s my dream to move back to Vermont so I can’t believe that lady wanted to move to Santo Domingo. Doesn’t hurt that I hate hot weather.
  23. I got my MD from watching TV so I’m probably wrong, but can’t aneurysms be surgically repaired?
