48 hours of labor but 10 hours of contractions?!?! So her water broke 38 hours before contractions began?!?! Another improperly managed homebirth. She nearly fainted and got a blood transfusion at the hospital. Non named baby forever!!!

While is Hannie's sistermom? She has obviously slept on her hair and neglected to brush it out! She looks rather neglected. My own daughter looked rather tangled around that age since she refused my hair help but she didn't care much to do it herself!

I read some articles about the quiverfulls and the Duggar's are really the exception. Most of these huge families live impoverished, isolated lives. If they even watch TV, imagine how the Duggar's, with their huge house and trips and Uggs, would be their role model.

We were discussing filming births in the hospital. Discovery Channel and TLC filmed Michelle giving birth several times in the hospital, including at least one c-section.

I saw this at Seattle Film Festival a few years ago. It's a very powerful documentary about extreme American Christians who have been practically kicked out of American who preach to the Ugandans the evils of homosexuality. I watched the video again of Jill and Derrick trying to take Izzy's picture, with him lying flat on his back like an infant. Jill keeps calling to Izzy, "Chuu Chuu!"! Does that mean something in Spanish? He is clearly too active and mobile to lie flat and still. Jill can be heard saying " You don't have to lay down while Derrick body-slams Izzy onto his back. It upsets me the way he is roughly handled. He seems to be extremely robust and strong but still.

I woke up this morning and realized I had been dreaming, for some time, "Mooooooooother..............Is................Bleeeeeeeeeeeeding......................Affffffffffffter........Birth". Wouldn't it be more common, or normal, to just say my daughter has just had a baby, at home, and is bleeding excessively.

I agree, she looks much happier now. A year or so ago, I'd spent an entire day watching a Duggar marathon! I wondered why Jana looks so sad, so robotic, so incrediby stepford wifey, and rarely spoke. In TH, she only gazed at her sister, who did all the talking. One day, I googled "Why is Jana Duggar sad"? That's how I was led to this forum!!!
