It appears that the percentage chance of Kansas City passing their division opponents in AFC West titles despite having about half as many as all 3 of them 8 years ago is...at least more than 50%

Los Angeles is trading Ramsey to Miami. The posted link here is a discussion on the aftermath of a big move that should be super official on Wednesday. I was thinking Jalen to Kansas City would have been better, but that might've been more wishful thinking. Or someone KC could benefit from

Lost in the Madness that precedes "March Madness" was a continuation of PGA dominance from Scottie Scheffler. One week after falling short of a successful defense at the Arnold Palmer Invitational (won by Kurt Kitayama) & the Top ranking that would've played out with it, I think he's okay. As Scheffler regained the number one ranking, he became the third person to win the Masters and the Players Championship within a 12-month period. Speaking of the Masters, I always root for Rory to win it since, IMO, he's closer to the career GS than Jordan is. Plus, McIlroy has a Players Championship (& FedEx title). In case he can't get it done, I would totally be okay for Scottie to repeat without (a late) struggle. I wouldn't mind seeing Rahm or Rose get there, but I'll probably have to bet on someone random next month for the victory

They're also a little hypocritical. Whatever reason they have of not moving them to the 3 (or even 4 line) is what it is, but based on that, some of their other decisions don't add up. Despite the difficulty of going 63 for 63, it isn't easy when good teams face bad teams but would still be in danger of losing outright due to the game being a bad matchup

No. There aren't any ratings. If so, someone else handles that. It's not a big deal mojoween. I was surprised that he said it. Usually he just reads the names and saves the other stuff for another time. BTW, I'd rather have this version of a selection than that stuff ESPN did for the College Football Playoff

Let's see if I remember to switch to TPC live this time. At least there isn't too much to occupy today (at least until 6:00). Scheffler leads The Player's Championship (at least heading into the Final Round). Two weeks ago I mentioned him & Rahm dominating the field, so it's pretty good that he's doing well. Especially since Rahm got unlucky & had to pull out

The Sunday picks for the final game before the Selection Show: Ivy League Championshiop Princeton vs Yale Yale favored by 3.5 Over/Under is 138.5 Southeastern Conference Championship Texas A&M vs Alabama Alabama favored by 5.5 Over/Under is 146.5 Atlantic 10 Conference Championship Dayton vs VCU VCU favored by 1.5 Over/Under is 124.5 American Athletic Conference Championship Memphis vs Houston Houston favored by 5.5 Over/Under is 135.5 Big Ten Championship Penn State vs Purdue Purdue favored by 7.5 Over/Under is 134.5 Yale, Alabama, Dayton, Memphis, and Purdue for the win outright. I like PSU and A&M to cover (I can see the former winning outright though, while the history for the latter is more football-related, I believe). I think the over hits for every game except the Ivy League & the American 27 schools are officially in. There are about 20 more that are definitely in, but not official until six hours from now. Five of the 10 schools mentioned above & playing today will be made official before 6:00 PM Eastern.

I'm not understanding the correlation. It's a joke. However, there is a correlation, and in all fairness, I might as well mention it. Furman is going to its first NCAA Tournament in over 4 decades. Their last appearance 43 years ago occurred about a couple weeks before Coach K became the Blue Devils head coach. Furman is a SoCon school. That probably helps with the drought. To be honest, this is not much more than a coincidence, but it is a fact. So I went 1-3 in championship games; was only right with Duke. They are playing some awesome hoops right now. Probably would've been among the top teams had it not been for their early struggles. I'll try to do better today, though I did manage to go 8-0 in Saturday's semi final games!

Hard to believe that March Madness is almost here! Probably has a lot to do with the fact that we're not even 4 weeks removed from the Super Bowl. Half of the automatic bids have been claimed, and all but 5 will be claimed before the night is over. Here are some of the key games: Big XII Championship Kansas/Texas Kansas 1.5 O/U is 141.5 Big East Championship Xavier/Marquette Marquette 2.5 O/U 153.5 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship Duke vs Virginia Duke 2.5 O/U 123.5 Pacific 12 Championship Arizona vs UCLA UCLA 1.5 O/U 147.5 I think I'll go with Duke, UCLA, Kansas & Texas. Though UCLA & Texas for the win might be a bit tricky. Purdue & Alabama have advanced to their respective conference tournament final. Neither need to win it in order to clinch an NCAA Tournament bid, but they both might want to in order to have a case to deny Houston for the overall top seed
-
Well, it took Mike Krzyzewski not being the Duke HC for Furman to make it into the NCAA Tournament! In an attempt to go 0-2 in B1G games without trying not to, I'll go with Purdue and Penn State for the win. For SEC games, I'll go with Alabama & Texas A&M, and for A-10: VCU and Dayton ETA: Memphis & Houston for the win in their AAC games
-
So I have Kansas & Duke winning their Big XII and ACC semis, respectively. I would have had Connecticut winning but they already started. Then I have Xavier, Texas & Virginia winning the second half to finalize Saturday's Conference Tournament Finals. Pac-12 Action, IMO should conclude with UCLA and Arizona State winning to produce a nice West Coast College Hoops final to take a Tourney bid decision out of the committee's hands. It's so fun when someone controls their own destiny

I guess David Tepper can afford it. Plus, it might link Carr to New Orleans instead of Carolina. It is a lot, but I guess they can do more in free agency than most teams. Either way, looks like Chicago is sticking with Fields going forward, which is okay. 2 years isn't enough to give up on a key player unless it's a true bust

Breaking News: Chicago will be trading the TOP pick to Carolina. Source here is from Adam Schefter ETA: The news courtesy of RAP Sheet. The Schefty link just has what Chicago is getting back

And an ineffective offense coordinator. That too. However, there has been some suggestion that the HC "interferes or injects" himself into the offense when he sees fit. If that's true, then it might not matter who the OC is. You have to leave the other side of the ball alone. The only person in the AFC North that's rather capable of managing both sides is Harbaugh
-
I think what might hinder Kenny is playing under a defensive-minded HC
-
Down goes Helen. Nothing I hated about her. Though at the same time it's not a huge loss off of the big picture
-
Carolyn confused with the set...but it is confusing this season
-
I sorta hope these castmembers share my current thoughts (of not wanting someone voted off). Just write down the name JEFF and see what happens
-
Meh. I might tolerate Sarah over Carolyn, but as a fan, Carolyn adds more toward the excitement world than Sarah as mentioned
-
I think he changed it up the second time, saying, "Someone will be the third person out of Survivor."
-
Looks like it will not matter since people know it's been tampered with
-
Fair enough. Because I'm watching in the comforts, I can say "Toughen up. It's Survivor!" I'd totally never say that live LOL!
-
I'll be honest: I can't say I'd be very happy if I'm next to a snake anywhere
-
NO excuse to admit that. The show's nearly a quarter century old. Just bad play there
