Oh, he finished the sequel to A Canticle for Leibowitz. I have them both. If you have never heard of it, it's one of the seminal novels of science fiction that's just not well known outside the genre. -

DVR caught a 5 minute preview for AGT: Fantasy League which actually premieres this Monday January 1. Had to separately set the DVR because the title is exactly that and not just America's Got Talent. So the judges are all picking 'teams' of their favorite acts to compete. It seems to be an excuse for a lower stakes All Stars but I saw acts I'm glad to see more of so I will watch.

And that's how you do an In Memoriam. I've never heard that version of Learning to Fly. Gives it a whole different feeling. -
Have to disagree, Jacquie was awful on both songs. Shouting is not singing. Lila was also bad. I can't believe they applauded that mess but the coaches are useless at this stage. It should come down to Ruby and Mara if we're going by performances. I'd rather Ruby win than Huntley even if I hate country. Huntley was okay but just...kind of there. His hair has more charisma than the rest of him.

Yes! That was pretty much all I could see and couldn't focus on the product. The whole outfit wasn't flattering. There is nothing to trademark/patent/copyright about sticking panties in a bag. I've seen the flats in a bag sold at vending machines near clubs but I assume the fabric and design is something specialized enough for a patent or other legality. How soon before Boarderie starts featuring Rebel cheese?

I watch Cold Justice because it's performing a valuable service and I hope to see people brought to justice. But I've come to realize I don't like Kelly very much and haven't cared to see this new show.

Former police officer Stephanie Lazarus successfully got away with killing her ex-boyfriend's wife for 20 years before she was arrested and sentenced to 27 years to life. It was featured on The Real Murders of Los Angeles among other shows. Now she may get parole. It's not guaranteed of course but I hope they find against her.

Wall to wall country, ugh. And yodeling. I loathe yodeling. Needless to say, I will not be following whomever wins since it's most likely a country artist.
