I loved the Comic Strips catagory but then I used to read most of them as a kid. Not surprised Pogo stumped them all but it hurt because it is a personal favorite. When my mom was pregnant with me, she gave me the nickname Grundoon based on one of the characters who only spoke in consanants. As you can see from my user name, I still use it sometimes. Mom also wrote Walt Kelly who created the strip for a picture of Grundoon and he sent a whole original strip with a letter authenticating. Go Georgia for keeping Pogo alive!

Seriously come visit, we get a bad rap (some deserved but some not). There are lots of good, creative people here - world class jazz festival this weekend. Sometimes we feel like the world is very mean girls on us but unlike Ashley we have had more time to grow a tougher skin.

She reminded me of certain actors/actresses that some people love and who make my back teeth hurt. I was pleased to see her go but will give her full points for a wide field of knowledge and of good sportspersonship. She not only applauded the new champ but I saw her clapping when others got Double Jeopardy right throughout her time of the show.

If you want to see early Sarah Lancashire, check out any You Tube clips of Raquel on Coronation Street. After years of seeing her as a ditzy workiing class barmaid, it is amazing to see her in any middle or upper class role.

I was rooting for the woman writer from Hamtramck, MI (since I live in metro-Detroit) even after she missed the "Red" Army question which is important locally since a group of the Soviet hockey squad became Detroit Red Wings and I was screaming at my tv "get a question, prevent the runaway". But she didn't hear me for some reason.

Count me in as someone who would love to see a "lifer from the 27" on camera but it wouldn't have been Profaci since the Mike Logan returns movie from the mother ship made Profaci a bad guy - maybe even a killer but my memory is a bit hazy but definitely his police career was over.
