OK--after my last post I went downstairs to start dinner and was thinking---I like Karla Mosley and I remember her from long ago Guiding Light---when I looked her up online I see that she was in some episodes of Hart of Dixie (one of my guilty pleasures and I will miss it) I don't remember her at all sadly but that is on me---I want to like Maya I really do but they have saddled her with a hella lot of baggage (although I will be intrigued to meet her parents) and an albatross around her neck---I suspect I would like her so much more if she was not with who she is with and if she was just NICER and not what I have seen so far---I also admit to a problem with Rick because I see AJ Chandler (also obnoxious) and while I think that Jacob Young can be a good actor and I get that he does not like to play a milk toast part---seeing him once again be "this guy" is not a happy place for me---never mind the awful haircut--lol---I don't see them as a supercouple or her as the face of Forrester or whatever but then the Forrester business has always been a mess---I will keep slogging along and hope to see some development or self awareness or something but I also admit that if Caroline was still with Rrrick I wouldn't like her much either and that is on me--will tune in again tomorrow and try again.

Run the table---I think I know you from the Y&R board---LOVED your post and co-sign it--I lurk more than I post and I came here after Y&R turned beyond awful but now unfortunately between Rick and Maya and the Waffle I have not watched in about 4 days---I am out of options--that said I love TK and Caroline and am always hopeful that Rick will get his---spoiled little boy---I don't have much to say about Maya because I did not see the last several months of her propping the wee one and giggling but so far I only see her pity party and helping Brooke convince him he is the bestest---sigh---if they are the new super couple I might be done before I even start back in earnest ----but there is still TK so I will try a little longer---hated the way Maya talked down to TK yesterday---made my blood boil and yeah---I don't care if TKridge is the worst CEO ever he is still better than little Napoleon---I have loved RenaS for a long time--yes I remember her as Lois on GH--a show I no longer watch---I like her new partnership with Ivy but then I like Ivy---she is a breath of fresh air and one of the new things I like---

eh---as awful as Liam has been and as stupid as other characters have been they do not take away from the Little Napoleon and his arm piece----as awful as others can be in their dumbness---Rick and Maya and the whole horrid giggly reign they presided over cannot be ignored---they are still at the bottom of the barrel in obnoxious---although I will admit Liam is giving them a run for their money---if they return to their supposed regal position I will be horrified but chock it up to idiots that write the show---no way has Rick paid for his "crimes" or Maya either----and Liam being stupid or Eric being senile does not absolve them either

Pretty sure I am not even bothering to watch today---our local Seattle affiliate has beached the show over at 3pm in favor of an hour of local news so it is an effort to remember to turn the TV on at all and somehow Liam slobbering over Steffy ain't a reason.

I love Jessica and remember her way back when she was part of a teen story with Amelia and Laura Wright (now carly on GH) and I forget her real name but she is Quinn on B&B---they all had potential and yeah---loved her at first but the revolving door of writers ruined Avery and now I will not miss her---hated her with Dillwood---I still have a shortcut to her food blog on my desktop and love to check in there---hope she lands somewhere that appreciates her and clearly that is not here---she can be good but here---not so much---sigh---once again the dweebs outlast the really good actors---

I totally agree Anna Yolei---that is part of why I avoided this show for years and years although I did see a fair amount of the Marone days until I couldn't take it anymore---but when Y&R turned into the crapfest it is now I didn't want to go back to Days after a 25 yr break so here I am---and now where the hell can I go? Still will hang for TK for awhile and I still like the actress who plays Quinn from way back but really there is not much else here for me---and I am pretty sure that RRRick is mounting a return and just UGH and do not want to see Brooke either so that leaves me with not much---sigh

To this new viewer Steffy totally sucks but Liam???? Words fail me he is beyond AWFUL and I hope he pays and pays for his stupidity one way or another----please let ivy move on with someone who is worthy but no we will be treated to some uglee manipulation thanks to Quinn (who I like) and then in the end Ivy will be vilified instead of the two toads who should be---this was my refuge from the awfulness that Y&R has become and now???? I am out of options from the wretchedness that soap writers (who have no clue what they are doing) have become and yes I am old and have been watching most of my 60+ years---sob!---I would like reruns of Edge of Night at this point----

Yeah---my eyes have been opened to the soggy Waffle---so disgusted to see "this" Liam---I caught a few episodes of the Triangle of Doom and saw him in full waffle mode but since I have tuned in regularly these last few months I was pleasantly surprised by his relationship with Ivy and with Ivy in general---loved that the last time Steffy showed up she was given short shrift but now? UGH--it is like UpChuck Pratt suddenly started writing this story only he is trashing Liam instead of the woman but even that is not an excuse for Liam being the weeney I saw on my screen the last few days---he is like gum on my shoe now and I hope he will be gum on Ivy's shoe soon too---she deserves better---I would say no one deserves the smugness that is Steffy but maybe waffleboy does---bleah.

This is my first exposure to Steffy other than hit and run episodes in the past and so far I am not liking it or her at all---I was just starting to enjoy this show especially with the Little Dictator's comeuppance (which alas will probably be short lived and he will be braying in the halls again sometime soon) Steffy has got to be one of the most obnoxious characters I have seen in a long time--not Phyllis from Y&R awful but give her time---and Liam aka Sir Wafflealot is now ruined---what an ass. I still have hope for Ivy since I like the actress and the character (well I did until Steffy said "boo" and she folded ) At least I still have TK so I will keep tuning in for now even if they have a variation of the same conversation every day---

I have been laying low because all of a sudden it is all about the past and I don't have much of a one with anyone on the canvas currently----I do like Ridge and Caroline but I am not part of their baggage and I loved the scenes they have had recently but then I am a TK fan so there ya go---I do not have a lot of background with Steffy other than drive by episodes from way back but yeah---hate her. Liam is a waffle for sure and if he can not do better than he has been the last few days then he deserves a life with Steffy---UGH---Wyatt is just a puzzle to this new viewer but so far I am not amused--Days dork from what I can see---do not miss Brooke or Maya or Rick or idiot Eric these last few days---don't understand Ally---where are Quinn and Deacon?

I would say that I have watched soaps most of my adult life except I watched them in elementary school and maybe even before that---I have pretty much watched them all including a few episodes of Passions which was not my thing at all and I remember when they were black and white and 15 minutes long (Search for Tomorrow. Love of Life and Guiding Light and the best of all Edge of Night)---yes I am old ---I do not want to get into the Rick/Maya or Ridge/Caroline stuff since it seems to be an either/or but I can say that Rick and Maya do not do it for me at all--selfish and condescending just ain't anything that endears me to them---admittedly I did not see most of it but I did see the hated foot massage crap and just NO---whatever anyone else has done including $Bill is somehow in character or out of what they think someone else is going to do to them---I like a lot of the characters here and this show gets great actors from all the other shows I have watched---I consider it a refuge from what Upchuck has done to Y&R where almost no one is likable but still---I have only watched daily about 6 weeks and I want Rick and maybe Maya too to own their awfulness and then there is Eric---words fail me there.

As a newer viewer I am all over the place---I still pretty much loathe Rick-the little prince and his stoopid parents---didn't really have much of an opinion about Maya other that lots of big eyes but when I read over here about her backstory and some of the crap she has done to prop up the little mister I am not liking her at all and being transgender does not give her a pass for snotty past behavior---I am on the record as a TK fan all the way back to Patrick Thornhart and while I hated Rigid with the best of them when Ron Moss and his scarves were here to me he is now a different character so the past is just that to me-----I had no idea that there was nastiness regarding Caroline---I like the actress and all I knew was that she was married to Rick for about 5 minutes and then she ended up with Ridge to Brooke's disgust---not a bad thing in my book---so sick of Brooke as the end all and be all------not sure when Rick became the boyMonster but I thought I read that the actor asked for Rick to be more like AJ Chandler because Rick was boring----never saw the Kyle Lowder version so I don't know----Steffy is already on my last nerve and I saw some of her run in the Triangle of hell--didn't like her then either---Liam I knew from long ago GH and I like Scott Clifton and I like him with Ivy (who I also like a lot) but damn he needs to step away from the Steffy---UGH---will not like him then--and if he can't then Ivy deserves better (really surprised at the Ivy hate I think she is a great new character but again I have not seen any of the past stuff)

I don't know Ivy very well but I saw enough of the Waffle-Steffy-Hope triangle of hell to know I do not want to see any variation of that again and I want Liam to not be that stupid again---do not care much for Steffy or any of her faces and hope to never see Hope again so I guess that makes me in Ivy's corner by default unless it looks like she can do better than Waffle----UGH this show needs better MEN but yeah---when will that happen?

Gotta say I love $Bill today and I do not even know why he is called $Bill but I think he referred to himself that way too---I only know him as Brad aka "Bradsicle" from Y&R and while I have seen him be obnoxious here his scenes with AwfulRick were golden---I get he has some past uglee with Ridge I never saw and some of it I am aware of but still---gotta say if he undercuts Waffle (LOVE that name) again I will just not get it---no matter what he seems to be in the catbird seat and what if anything can Thorne do? Still not interested in Maya or her sis and do not miss Brooke---

after today's dose of Rick the Awful and doddering dad I was pretty sure I was going to take another long break from B&B but now with the advent of Thorne I guess I will try to be patient---I hope that for once he is not just an afterthought---

LOL---I am a newer viewer kinda-sorta but I think Cupid has laid it all out perfectly and it is still at least something I will tune in to see---rather see that than little Ricky whines a lot wins again with an assist from doddering dad who has been pretty shitty from where I am sitting---

Eh---if it was Ronnnnnn Mosss Ridge I might throw in with the haters but as I have said before I cut TK slack because he is TK---still yeah I wish there was anyone else to take on job---especially Thorne---Ridge is not a manager no matter what and I know not much about Steffy except she is a Bratz and Taylor's daughter so there ya go and I saw about 5 minutes of the triangle that was Hope-Liam-Steffy and that was 5 minutes too much and made me hate Wyatt on sight too---who really makes me scream these days is RRRick and by extention Maya---NO NO NO--to the Lord and Lady Selfish of the Manor and now Eric who I knew from way way back---yes I watched in the beginning and I remember him as "Lance" on Y&R too---have all his brains leaked out on the sidewalk? or is Ricky just the most perfect son ever who takes credit that belongs to others and treats staff like shit---been there in real life and do not want to revisit---Eric laps it up---I agree with everyone who said Stephanie was the brains here because clearly there are NONE now---I came here for a nice respite from the stupidity that is now Y&R but alas the stupids are in charge here too----

OK--I guess I don't get it either since I think that Rick sucks eggs on a good day and Maya is not much better---if the rest of the Foresters were stupid as usual whatever that does still not give Rick and maya license to be beyond obnoxious which is what I have seen as a about 6 week or 2 month viewer---Jacob Young can play horrid with the best and I have seen it at AMC--hoped to see something different here but apparently he asked to play Rick as an ASS---Maya is boring and not much else---I do not mind the actress and the writing is not her fault but wth? Why does she support Rick in his ass behavior? No way will I root for these dough heads to be winners----

I don't know---I admit to being partial to TK over the years and other places so I might be willing to cut "this" Ridge some slack and I detested RM so there is that----I am not fond of Steffy either---I tuned in now and again during the triangle from hell and liked none of them (although I do remember Liam from GH many years ago so had a little fondness for him but Waffle--lol) I have watched this show off and on for years and remember the whole Marone clan too---but none of that takes away from my "Rick is an ass extrordinaire" vibe and I feel "not much" for Maya either even though I was not present for much of her snickering as Rick ordered family members to massage her feet or make ridiculous orders of food or kick Ally out of her room and the whole portrait thing? barfing now---I do not see them as the love story of the century---more like they are delusional and maybe deserve each other? I can't say for sure as I was not here for the whole thing but those flashbacks did not much for me---Eric? there are no words for his stupidity and why oh why can not someone from the outside show up and knock a few heads together? He has created two obnoxious sons who cannot work together or stop blaming each other (but if I have to pick it will never be Rick) and Brooke needs to take a long walk off a short pier---SuperMom? I think not

I like Jessica Collins and she has been very good except here---in the beginning Avery had some potential but the revolving writing staff took away all of that and made her dull and inconsistant and just annoying----the actress (who I go way back with) is capable of so much more----any good thing about her character was taken away or ignored and now she is even worse as a Phyllis sister---once again Phyllis is right or something and Avery is a dud---so sorry to see this happen but Avery has become another idiot character so even someone like me will not miss her---sigh.

UGH--I came here because Y&R was so bad and I like so many of the actors here---no use for Ronnnn Moss or Brooke or many others but as a sorta watcher I am not really entitled to complain about the past---I like Ivy and the actor who is Liam but I tuned in enough during the Hopefest to get why he is called Waffle--tee hee---not much use for Wyatt but whatever--Steffy then and now is a no go---love TK but as Ridge? not sure---loathe Rick and that is a big part of my problem about now---he is horrid and shitty every day---he is entitled and not worthy no matter what he or Eric say---and the HAIR!!!!! so he has business sense? I am waiting to see that---what I see is he is taking credit for others work and profits---BARF--CEO of the century? I think not---I really wish that Ridge and Caroline (who I barely know) and everyone else with a smidge of talent would leave and there would be little Ricky and his awful parents trying to salvage the company he ran into the ground with his UGLEEE---my hate knows no bounds for the stuff he says and I do not care about old Ridge or any of the rest of the past---what I see on my screen now is not a respite from what Upchuck has done to Y&R and I have lost AW,ATWT, etc over the years---sob---geez what is left? cable murder mysteries? I knew going in that this show is slow and Eric is an idiot but still---beautiful sets and good actors (mostly) I was so hopeful that it was not like it used to be and that compared to the other crap around it had options and actually had potential---I am still choosing to hope for that but if Rick/Eric "win" and yeah I do not want to see $Bill win either I will not be here for long--- so sick of the idiots ruling the day here and everywhere----so for this week I am watching this and not Y&R but not a high bar for comparison---sigh

AARRGGHH! Based on what I read I did not even bother to watch today---first time since I started back---Rick repulses me (partly because he is AJ Chandler on steroids) but mostly because he is the little dictator---I cannot speak to the kinder gentler Maya who was turned into a golddigger because all I saw was the giggler who sat there and let Ally massage her feet etc (and I was still trying to figure out who Ally was at that point) I loathed Ronnnn Moss as Ridge (or Rigid as I liked to hear him referred to) for maybe 20 years whether I was watching or not---I am a long time fan of TK but only saw a few days when he started and then wandered off until Y&R got so awful I needed another story---I kinda consider TK another character than original recipe Ridge and without his baggage but I know that is not fair---have not seen much of him and Caroline so again I cannot say much about that romance and how it happened etc---Eric on the other hand I remember from way back and he has never been stupider---what in the hell? Surely there is someone who's name does not start with an R that he could appoint until the boys grow up and figure it out and I vote for Thorne but he is somewhere in an attic or a basement or on the Riviera? So much stupid is hard to take.

Bill is stoopid but I did not buy the "new and improved and compassionate" Rick either---PC maybe but Rick does not appear to have that in him---UGH--so sorry I thought this would not be PC at least at first----I did not expect a rampage maybe either but I don't like the message that Maya was right to hide it all this time and now it is rainbows and puppies---I have not watched that long so I cannot address the fact that she waited years and stood by while he treated his staff and relatives like dirt and elevated her---to me that is a separate issue but still lousy and I am not overly fond of her sis Nicole either----way too many gold diggers here and I as a new viewer am not feeling any sympathy for Maya or Rick and I won't get started on idiot Eric or Brooke and their responsibility for Rick being the way he is---bleah
