I don't like what they are doing to Ivy AT ALL and I loathe most of the other players and can see that they are going to ruin Ridge and Caroline for that blouse wearing icky twerp---sigh---but still Steffy is the one I hate the most with Liam as a close second so I continue to hope that something will happen to the awfuls---

After reading the comments here I didn't even bother to watch--just had to take a day off---there is now truly no one I feel like rooting for---are you sure that Upchuck Pratt isn't writing these people like this?

OK I have had to reconsider last night's rant about people going off at an "occasion" as I remembered that in my own family that did happen some 25 years ago only it was a funeral and not a wedding--I was not in attendance but of course heard all about it and these days it makes us sad because the person ranted at was really hurt by it all---these family members are all gone now but sometimes words said in anger at an emotional time live on, unfortunately. I can deal with Maya and mostly ignore her (except for the whole lead model thing---sigh) but Rick, Liam, and Thomas?---not so much. At the moment this show is so much better than Y&R that I cannot look away---well I sort of zoned out the whole Nick sermon yesterday--lol.

eh I do not like Steffi AT ALL and Liam is ruined and an idiot but still why am I here? and I guess the answer is TK---not Rigid but TK---miscast or not I believe he can pull anything off especially if I pretend that he was never the Ridge that Ron was---Maya and Rick are horrid mostly due to Rick the entitled but I understand Maya egged him on before I got here---I find them both entitled and annoying and not worth my time---I do not feel sorry for Maya at all and I do feel sorry for her parents and maybe Nicole (although she is not the brightest bulb etc) I have no issues with transgendered and have actually known a few in more than one work place---that is not an issue for me but I get why it is not all rainbows for everyone directly involved---I liked Ivy a lot but now--not sure? and ick to the boy in the blouses---HATE him almost as much as DEVON at Y&R and maybe more----the wedding debacle is not anything I have known in my life but yeah it is a soap so rant off in front of god knows who---

I loathe nuThomas more every time he is on my screen---yes I know I will be on TK's side and I try to never think of Ronnn Moss--but that is not it---the brat is insufferable even for a soap---yes I am old and texting challenged but that snark was just shitty and he is squinty and smarmy and makes the other loser men and on this show look good by comparison---although nothing will redeem Waffles at this point---over the top for Ridge to rip up his "sketch" but even that did not bother me because he is just that annoying---

UGH-hate the new Thomas--a dweeb with bad hair and he is here only to ruin Caroline and Ridge and while I hated RonnMoss Ridge forever I will always be in Tks corner and this guy is sorta a weasel and if Caroline goes for that I will be done with her too---sigh---may be done with the show---never want to see TK with KKL either so unless they have a plan B----also hate everything that has to do with Waffles and I liked him once upon a time on GH but now---asshat---ugh

Duncan and Shannon and Julianne Moore playing Sabrina and Franny are from ATWT's--not sure about Reba but maybe it was Reva on GL?

I have watched soaps most of my life---I remember being in "nursery school" and there was a TV somewhere with a black and white GH--Jessie/Steve/Angie---and then I watched them all even ones that are long gone---Love of Life, Search for Tomorrow, Love is a Many Splendored Thing, Where the Heart is, I was there--LOVED Edge of Night especially about the time I was in high school and they had a serial killer who was the congressman's brother on--very radical for those days and so well done--also did time with Loving and the City and another one that was a half hour and adapted from a Ronna Jaffe book the Best of Everything (I must have been the only one watching that because it barely lasted 6 months and was replaced by AMC--I was in 10th grade then) I always thought the New York soaps on CBS were the best but I would shop around and did some time with all of them--loved Guiding Light,ATWTs and Somerset and Another World for a long time until the show runners killed them one by one---I watched some GH due to Scorpio and Anna Devane but the mobsters and the horrid Steve Burton killed that and I never looked back---watched Y&R from the first episode and always loved the sets (I wanted shutters because the Brooke's house had them) but I never thought it was all that until it was the only one left standing and now I watch with 88 year old mom---I also adored Santa Barbara for a time totally because of the actors most notably Lane Davies but the same peeps that killed ABC and JFP ruined that show too and I quit it before it died a horrid death and was a shadow of it's former self---and Ryan's Hope--love that too--I won't say most of all since I loved all the dearly departed for different reasons but Kate Milgrew and the pub and the first appearance of Justin Deas--no one can take that away from me---I too did time with OLTL only because I got off the bus with 20 minutes to spare until "Dark Shadows" so sad that those great days are gone and now I only have Y&R--hate Grampire and B&B which has always been silly but GREAT sets and these days it looks like the best of the lot---so not what soaps used to be but yet here I still am

Yeah---I hated Steffy before and still hate her and I have not been watching all that long at least regularly but another show---cough*Y&R* cough--- drove me here and I have rapidly liked it better than what else is available and then there is TK my longtime crush---still WTH? this show needs even more help than Y&R---well maybe not given the dreck there but still---what and why does Thorne have to take this for? I was watching back in the Darla day and I hated that story then too---UGH UGH UGH--- this really sucks and yeah it makes Maya and Rick (but mostly Rick) superficial and stoopid and uncaring----is that what they (the writers) were going for????? Seriously???? I thought they were trying to make Maya the bestest shining star ever and now this? My guess is it will not be about Rick and Maya at all and they will be golden---sigh

Summer IS "miserable and judgmental" and that is on a good day and I do not see it being about Sharon---her obnoxious knows no limits---the snark she shovels in Sharon's direction and considers justified is no less than I would expect from a know-nothing who can't even walk in her own shoes much less anyone elses---yes she makes my blood boil due to the coddling and excuses the adults in her life constantly give her and that started with dear old mom and dad---she has never had to work for anything or suffer any consequences for her actions---I have never gotten over Dick giving her a new car for her birthday after she smashed the old one into other hapless folks---seriously? and yeah, the whole bully Jamie storyline---she learned nothing from that experience, not one iota of character development or new found compassion--- whiIe I suppose someone could say it is not her fault that she is handed everything on a silver platter by the clueless adults in her orbit but her attitude and lack of compassion for anyone else and her all about ME in any situation is my problem with her---I am not a fan of the actress much either because I think there are others that are much more talented that are given only scraps to work with but that is not her fault either---Ninja P's list is exactly the problem--the character needs an overhaul stat---and lose the Gnome.

Hmmm---I really liked Scott Clifton back in the day on GH when he was a Quartermaine but that was a long long time ago as I have not watched that show in years and then he kept winning awards either over Billy Miller or with him in a tie and so I thought OK--let's see what he is doing and UGH Liam the waffle is so not what I wanted to see--sigh---hate him and hate him more with Steffy---I went out to the garage today on a commercial and forgot to come back---I still want to like this show and when the competition is the young and the awful how hard can it be--lol---as for Wyattt I am really starting to like him and I never did before so there is that

OK--still here mostly due to TK and I kinda like Caroline even if I did read up on a past I could not believe----I like her now---still think Maya and Rick need to pay for past crapola and will not be worshipping at the St Maya shrine any time soon---pretty much hate Steffy almost enough to stop watching but then what other soap can I go to---not much---used to like SC long long time ago when he was a Quartermaine but now---WAFFLE and worse---no one deserves to be with him ever--well maybe Steffy because she is not bright and thinks he is a prize (probably only to wave at Hopeless) so hope Ivy moves on to anyone even chicken\head---and yeah I laughed at whoever said that Steffy quit the show and waited for Hopeless/Kim Matula to leave before she would come back to be queen bee---for what Waffel?????

OH great---now I don't even like TK Ridge---jeez, I will keep watching but where or where can I find someone who is some one I can like---they are all idiots--I still like Ivy but only if she gives Liam the gate and I still like Quinn/Deacon in spite of their pasts but the rest---not so much ***and yeah Ally was pretty scary like everyone said.

Cupid Stunt your description of what bothered me about the whole Caroline/Maya sorta apology is better than anything I could come up with---and I still say that until Maya and Rick show some character growth I am not there with them and I know I did not see the past but I saw enough to know that they are not there with a new attitude and so I wait... show me that you two get it and without all the excuses---I am pretty sure I could like Maya at some point (especially without Rick but I know I am not gonna get that) but not yet and my history with this show (and it is long if sporadic) in no way shows me that I will see what I want to see---the stuff I read made me see a different Caroline but it also showed me the crap that Maya pulled too---sigh---both these ladies need to start over but from a level playing field and that is not what I saw--- at least not yet.

Waving at bannana---one of the best voices of reason at the Y&R board---I agree with everything you said---I saw those scenes with Caroline and Maya a bit tipped in one way and it was not at Caroline---granted I was not around for both of these ladies in their bad old days but once again Maya somehow gets a pass and I will not ever be giving Rick a pass either---he may have "accepted" whatever position Ridge will give him but no way will he go quietly and prove himself as a newer and nicer Rick--the scheming will begin before they can paint his name on the door---sigh---been there done that. Aly as crazy is also new to me but I have read what y'all say and I was around for Darla when she was living so oh-no---not the least bit interested or sympathetic to whatever comes Steffy's way---

So since posters that I respect and who have been around a lot longer than this newbie seem to harbor some ill will toward Caroline in the same way I do for Rick and Maya I decided that I had best do some homework and find out about the past---unfortunately I now don't like anyone but Ivy--lol. Everyone looked bad in the character history I read. I can't even imagine the Caroline I see on my screen being that person and while I am familiar with the whole Rick/Ridge tug of war that is aided and abetted by senile daddy-- still--not an attractive narrative for any of them. I think I am going to either have to quit watching (and I don't want to) or be like another poster said and just go with what I am seeing on my screen today. I think that TK is changing Ridge (for the better) and hopefully that will continue to spill over to Caroline. I wish that Rick would experience some character growth or self awareness or something and independent from his personal cheerleader but doubt that will happen. I hope that when Thorne shows up it is for a real storyline and not just window dressing to distract from the other messes and Liam should end up alone and lose both women but then Steffy would be free to pursue some other hapless guy and really no one but Liam deserves that.

I don't give a flip about Ridge and hated him actively whether I was watching or not for many years but I am a TK fan so ---oh no---and when I read that Caroline was uglee and something about falling off a balcony I don't know that either so I am not sure where I am supposed to be---I saw about 2 episodes when she was married to Rick but was not impressed----I lurve TK and might always but still..... and as for Rick? not so much ever---Maya is a not much to me so I don't care but I read she was awful so that is a problem for me---I would love for Thorne to be some sort of balance but I doubt it---would love to never see Brooke again and Waffle is just a loser---let Steffy have him and give Ivy someone new who is worthy---yeah like that will happen

eh I watched today because I said I would and I tried to avoid waffle and then 88 yr old mom was watching even though she complains constantly that they have the same convo every day but she is still watching GH so I point out her lack of taste too--lol----I liked the scenes with TK and Caroline but then I would like to see him read the phone book--avoided the Maya/Rick scenes and tried to shield mom as she hates sex scenes in general and she pretty much remembers JY from AMC---LOL LOL LOL---

LOL slayer--I have that entire episode on an old VCR tape somewhere---I will return the favor when I figure out how---loved TK and Caroline today--that is the actor I know and love---someone shove Waffles and Steffy off a short pier---the peeps in charge here must be the same ones that think we want to see Dullard on Y&R with like anyone---I realize this show is only 19 minutes long but they need some new characters---sigh

OK--- Run the Table--I guess I "know" you from over here then---I have been reading here since before I went back to watching---there are so many great posters at this site I get confused---as one who was running their mouth yesterday I apologize---a little bit of heat stroke---in the 90s here in WA where there is not a lot of air conditioning and none in my car or house---will try to keep it about the show---and on that note--does Deacon have a job? I have really tried to remember but can't---not sure I am ready to forgive and forget Rick's recent past---still think that once he gets his key to the executive washroom back the plotting and backstabbing will commence and why does Forrester even need a "lead model"---isn't it supposed to be about the clothes and not who wears them? And when someone is the "face of" isn't it usually a celebrity? or is that just for make-up and perfume? When is Thorne showing up? Please don't let him be a pawn for Rick to use----Oly quieting down now and waiting to give the show another chance even if it is going to be a Waffles day.

I do remember Another World---loved that show and Jake and Vicki and the same people that are killing Y&R did that show in--and yeah Falcon Crest---I only signed on for a few years and even bought Falcon Crest wine and I still love Susan Sullivan and watch her on "Castle" sniff is right---

YEAH---I go way back with TK--Patrick Thornhart, Ian Thornhart,, Zack on AMC (which most know him as and I liked him least there--lol) I have read that TK hates to audition so if he is offered a part he takes it---I love his background etc and while I will admit I was seriously shocked when he came here to play what I knew as "Rigid" and I hated Ronn Moss with the fire of a thousand suns and then some---I still tuned in for a day or two but when I saw it was still about Waffles-Hopeless-and Steffy I left again until now----wish I cared about Maya and Rick but so far it is not happening and if they are shoved in my face I will be gone again and same for Waffles---sigh---I have watched soaps most of my life and the ones that are left are so not Edge of Night or ATWTs or really anything I loved but I am trying to hope that something will work----

ICK--I forgot all about Shouty McYellerson even though I thought it was hilarious---not sure I ever saw him as Lucky since I was like APPALLED---and yeah Jacob Young lived in Yelm, WA briefly which is about 20 minutes from where I live---I still do not like his nasty attitude and all the rest that goes with his characterizations---not pleasant to put it mildly----I can never be part of his one upping TK just because he sucks
