  1. Didn't Q say this past episode that Hunter wasn't a physical threat? So how is one a challenge beast but also not a threat?
  2. Yeah I figured if Kenzie is going to win she’s going to need a turning point here soon. It’s not like an Erica situation where she’s been invisible the whole time. It’s possible that’s how she makes the final 5, her and Ben may now have this bond and start working together, especially if she loses (or votes off herself) Tiffany and Q. But she did look good tonight. I’m wondering if next week it’ll be Q or Tevin. Tevin may be sorry for voting off Soda over Venus, who has no loyalty to him. With 3 Siga members, plus the Yanus, and then Liz (who I also don’t think is crazy about Tevin), his boot might be getting set up. He also may have made himself look like a threat tonight because of how he tried to orchestrate Soda’s blindside. As for Q, I think his arc is coming to an end and he’s being set up to get blindsided.
  3. I noticed that. I would say it was a look of surprise but not in a good way. Maybe whoever is voted out goes out in a blaze of glory and goes overboard calling people out, or maybe some people get into it at TC. From some of the stuff that's gone down on this show, if Jeff and Soda look that surprised I have to say I'm intrigued (although Soda's look of surprise may be aimed at whoever is voted off). I really can't think of what it is. We've had people quit at TC, we've had people quit so someone else could stay in the game (and honestly no one left strikes me as anyone that would quit), we've had idol and advantage plays that were for the record books, people have given up immunity and been voted off as a result...like I wonder if the vote literally flips at TC but in a way Jeff has never seen.
  4. In what was a long, drawn out episode, there were a couple of highlights. The first was at the IC. Nobody understanding the rules of Q's alphabet game (not sure if there's different variations to it but I've always played it like he was explaining it) and him giving up. And then Q saying he purposely jumped off at the IC to test his alliance. Which is fair, and he'd certainly not be the first one to do that (though he's lucky he didn't get blindsided) but actually saying he's a bigger physical threat than Hunter? Hunter carried Nami through pretty much every pre-merge IC. Not saying Q couldn't be a physical threat, but I think Hunter already has him beat. I liked that Venus got the credit for Soda's blindside by Soda herself, especially since she was about 5 steps behind everyone today. Maria dropped in my rankings but I give her credit for winning the IC. I do think that challenge favors women, but whatever, I love seeing the older women get some wins. But I don't know, something about her was kind of off-putting tonight. Tim's boot wasn't that surprising but I'm curious what will happen when the two groups see who the others voted off. Since Maria referenced the six alliance so much tonight (an alliance I didn't think she cared that much about) I feel like she might turn on Q for Tim's ouster. Tim was absolutely right that Hunter was a bigger threat, but being wishy-washy and non-committal can also make someone a threat.
  5. Well, from the previews it seems like something big is going down next week. Not sure if someone has a super dramatic exit or if something gets said at TC that shouldn't have or if an offer is made or what. Assuming the final 5 is in fact Charlie, Maria, Ben (I can actually believe this), Liz, and Kenzie, then Tevin/Hunter/Venus/Tiffany/Q are the next to go. If Venus is mid-jury I have to believe she'd survive at least one more vote. I think Q's exit is being set up, especially in the previews he comes across even more in charge and overconfident. Yanu will be officially outnumbered and at least 2 of them will be vulnerable (maybe all 3) so they may not have any say in who stays or goes. And the girls might finally be ready to let Q go. Also seemed like in the preview Liz might be getting annoyed with Tevin, so maybe he'll be a target too.
  6. This is probably going to be a bigger target on her back with Tevin because he'll want credit for the move. Question is will anyone let him take the credit. Yes, she stood up in shock and just stared at everyone for a minute, even said she blacked out and didn't remember anything.
  7. Next week: Everyone's looking for Hunter. Hunter's pulling a Tony and hiding in a tree to spy Tevin's laughing at something and Liz in a talking head say "shut up" Q in a voiceover with a shot of Tiffany walking says "she broke my rules, I'm a mob boss" Charlie tells Maria "This game is getting crazy" Shot of Soda on the jury with her hand over her mouth in shock, with Probst saying "never seen like this". I'm still prepared to be disappointed.
  8. This cast is just too nice and too lovey. Even when they didn't like each other they still go out hugging! I don't need the dramatics of Big Brother, but let's get a little drama inserted in here.
  9. I was just starting to like Soda again too. At least she and Venus hugged it out. But dang, can we get a blindside reaction like Kellie's from last season? Tevin didn't seem very happy that Soda and Venus were okay with each other in the end.
  10. I'm really surprised Venus didn't play her shot in the dark.
  11. I think the 6 alliance is over now, because she has no reason to trust Q or Tiffany. If she doesn't blindside Tevin tonight, I wonder if she'll regret that, because it seemed like she was only working with him because of that alliance. Not sure if that was smart of Maria to act like no one approached her and she wanted the power. I actually thought she was making a dig at Venus at first.
  12. Well, I really thought it was going to be Ben. Though Tim isn't super surprising because of how wishy-washy he was. I was hoping Tim would throw Q and his six person alliance under the bus on his way out, which would have been news to Ben and Kenzie. This season everyone is too nice, especially Siga.
  13. I feel like Kenzie blowing kisses at the urn gave it away. Voting Ben off would probably be harder for her than voting Tim off.
  14. I feel like that other TC is going to be super short at this rate.
  15. I hope Yanu can be vulnerable next week. Not that Tiffany and Q aren't vulnerable this week, but they got lucky once again but having numbers because no one is going to risk a tie and they are going to vote strong (unless we are in for a huge blindside). But I'm ready for them not to be in control again.
  16. Maybe Ben's going after all, that seemed like a good bye speech.
  17. Tim and Hunter are making really good arguments for why the other needs to go (or in Hunter's case just saying vote Siga because Nami can't stand each other).
  18. I liked 90 minutes last season. I don't know why that seemed better edited, but I also liked the cast a lot better, so maybe that's why. I think the show just needs to give itself an overhaul and change up the format.
  19. So it'll likely be between Soda and Venus at the orange tribe. Why is no one considering Hunter a threat? All because of the 6 alliance (which Kenzie and Ben aren't even apart of and I assume don't know about).
  20. Which is funny because last week I got the vibe Maria didn't care for it. So I thought this was something that Q was fully onboard with, and that Hunter and Tevin were more so than Tim and Maria. But if Q decides to vote Tim off guess that'll be the end of it. I still don't see why Q can't just vote Ben and why he needs Tim for that, he's got Kenzie and Tiffany and Hunter would probably go along with him if he knew Tim was throwing his name out.
  21. I actually think Venus is right that Tevin is the bigger threat between him and Soda. But no one seems to want to get out big threats this season. And here Charlie worried for nothing.
  22. So Tevin wants to blindside Soda. Soda wanted to vote Venus. This might be a fun TC. And now Venus wants to pull a blindside. She's throwing out Tevin and Soda's names to Maria.
  23. I think Tim should try and sacrifice Ben to appease Q. At least he'd have the option of the journey six alliance, and for all he knows Charlie may get voted out and Siga will be down in numbers anyway. I don't know that Tim is really on anyone's radar except when he puts himself on the radar.
  24. Poor Charlie, he wants to strategize but everyone else is being lazy on the beach. I don't blame him, I'd be nervous if I were him too. And why would Venus trust Soda? I don't think that came out of nowhere.
  25. Oh probably. Since I don't consider that a real alliance and don't get why Q is pushing it so much maybe that's why I forgot about them being involved in it lol
