The white matter lesions in the MRIs are NON-SPECIFIC and you need to look at the clinical picture! A brain MRI can have white matter lesions that are non-specific and can be seen in demyelinating disease (like MS), vasculitis, microvascular changes, chronic migraine, etc…. It is NON-SPECIFIC. If they are ovoid and perpendicular to the lateral ventricles or if they involve the corpus callosum then that is more typical of MS however MS can have a normal appearing brain MRI. So if someone is 60 years old and has hypertension and a spell of neurological dysfunction and the MRI has non-specific white matter changes then most likely they have microvascular changes and had a TIA. If they are 30 y/o and had a week or two of blindness a year ago and more recently had right side weakness with the same brain MRI (maybe some enhancement in a left subcortical lesion) then it would fit more with MS. Look at the clinical setting (history, etc). I'd be more interested in Yo's csf results from a LP (cerebrospinal fluid analysis from a lumbar puncture). The examples I gave are just examples. Yes, 60 year olds can have MS and 30 year olds can have htn. Both can have migraines….etc. Go to a neurologist!

sorry, the bullets were in a quote in which you respond to me and did not show up in my reply quote. No, I do not have Lyme brain, lol…. give a depressed person a ROS (review of systems) list to tick the box of the symptoms they have….you could probably say they all have lyme disease in the differential diagnoses so the clinical context is more than just the patient reported symptoms. Sorry, this should probably be in Yo's thread. Mod's please move it to the appropriate thread if needed. Thanks! PS: syphilis is also a great mimicker and can lie dormant for a long time.

I find the first bullet confusing since the second sentence seems to contradict the first sentence of the bullet. I would think that if someone lives in a lyme endemic region (or was in that region in a high likelihood setting--out in the woods) and had a rash, aches and facial palsy that I can see a clinical diagnoses especially if it is the typical rash found with lyme. Yo seems to have numerous symptoms but I haven't seen any photos of her signs of lyme. Hence the question about objective tests like western blot, etc. The are no MRIs pathognomonic for Lyme. She may or may not have Lyme imo. If first and second line treatment fails that I would rethink the diagnosis. Disclaimer: I did not do a fellowship in Infectious Disease and have never seen/examined Yo and have just formed personal opinions based on what I have seen on the show and read here on these threads. I do think everyone should be given the benefit of the doubt--believe they are experiencing their complaints however I question what others have told her (how did the doctor who first diagnosed her with lyme make the diagnosis and what did objective lyme testing show). Interesting that explant surgery for the silicone implants seems to have helped her the most from what I have read.

I know why Yo was prescribed colonics: she is full of shit To my understanding, somatoform disorders have unconscious motivating factors such as positive reinforcement from the "sick role". Sufferers are suffering and it is unconscious driving factors rather than intentional faking. Combine that with menopause, depression, and possible personality disorder and here we go. She is suffering and has the pain, fatigue, etc that she mentions. It is just the underlying etiology that I question. She brought it up on the show so it is fair to question imo.

Remind me, why does Yo say she had/has Lyme Disease? Did she have test positive for Lyme? Western Blot? Eliza? was the test done on blood, tissue, cerebrospinal fluid? Also how does she know her immune system is "weak"? Are her WBCs low, T cells low…etc?

Did Lisa ever thank them for traveling such a long distance just to go to a party to celebrate her cover? I wonder if travel expenses were free and if getting a home sitter (not that they need one) was factored it? Was it a vacation or a work event? Either way, you would expect a quiet room and available food. I'd get a migraine with all the sleep deprivation, lack of food and noise.

Erika seems shrewd enough to figure out that "normal people" would love the idea of a woman actually enjoying eating food like cake. I'm sure she enjoyed it but I doubt she eats it regularly.

the women all seemed to like each other and get along as witnessed by their interaction in Kenya's bedroom after Porscha got home from her date. I think they are all work friends and some are closer to some than others. I think Kandi is genuinely confused and hurt by Phaedra since they were close (real friends). I think Kenya annoys many of them but I also think they enjoy her. Ok, Phaedra may have issues due to Apollo and Kenya (but I seriously doubt she did anything with him except mild flirtation to create drama which backfired on her). I think Porscha is not the brightest tool in the toolbox but I also think she plays up her "dumbness" …IDK. I think they are all less toxic with NeNe gone (but I miss laughing at Nene's messed up wigs and bad make up). I don't like them all ganging up on one person and even NeNe had Phaedra on her side. I hope they don't gang up on Kenya but given how they all reacted to aggressive Glenn, I worry about it. I wouldn't be surprised if the kids are spoiled and act bad at school. That can happen when kids are spoiled and even when not spoiled. Maybe the kid is acting out due to family issues (dad not around and/or parents fighting). Maybe he is spoiled and maybe not. I wouldn't be surprised if spoiled given Phaedra's refusal to call out guys on bad behavior and blames the female. I can see her saying "not my little angel". However it sounds like he has recently had a lot of turmoil in his life so I can understand him acting out. Hopefully someone gives him the structure, care, teaching, etc to lead him to proper behavior if it is problematic. He seems like a cute kid and I hope he is coping and adjusting well to what is going on in his life.

Granted, Peter is likely too busy and I doubt Kandi and Todd will go on the vacation but to my understanding, they aren't allowed to bring their husbands (some exceptions for some trips) and rumor has it that Kim wouldn't go unless she could bring her husband. They should have voided her contract.

I use to like Kelley but started going off her toward the later part of the season due to her OTT facial expressions** and looking/sounding vaguely arrogant. Why is she considered so great of a player? She just lucked into two hidden immunity idols and played them well. What did she do that required any skill other than being lucky with idols (not a skill)? Her social game wasn't great--no one wanted to play with her even back with there were tons of people left--all she had were Ciera and by default Kass & Abi. Later on she got Keith by default and briefly Kimmi as a voting bloc which got her (kimmi) out of the game. Poor social game since no one wanted to play with her and it was not due to her being a threat. Poor strategic game but we couldn't never see her strategic potential since she never had the numbers to implement a strategy other than hidden immunity idols. I guess she scrambled for a few tribal councils where bigger threats were removed. She won a few immunity necklaces but apparently that doesn't mean shit unless you are Mike since juries don't care about those and if you need them to stay in the game then apparently your social game sucks (so why even have immunity necklaces since only social games matter to bitter juries). I like a mix of social, strategy and game play in my winners. I was ok with mike but too much focus on immunity wins, jeremy relied on social only….give me more Natalies and Cochrans who had great mixes of attributes. **disclaimer: I liked her OTT behavior and expression with the savage ousting but I thought it was just going to be a one time celebration rather then a daily event (she even did it at the reunion so it wasn't just playing to the jury).

Joe & Savage seem cliquey (sp?). At the very end of Kelley's Ponderosa video it shows Joe and Savage touching hands (or fist bumping….equivalent of a chest bump) and looking really tight. Also Keith makes misogynistic statements and is really tight with Joe (and I guess Savage who also adores Joe and seems sexist). Keith's comment about being upset or disappointed that Natalie won and he was at the end with a bunch of women (paraphrasing) sounded misogynistic imo.
