She was gorgeous. But she was mean, too! On America's Next Top Model, she demanded a young contestant report on another's wrongdoings. The contestant didn't want to, but after relentless badgering from Janice, she did. Then Janice exploded all over her: how dare she tattle on another contestant! Where was her sense of loyalty? Yeah, crazy all right. With her tight, halloween-mask face contrasting with her saggy neck, I find her painful to look at. Too right.

Yeah, I saw but I just thought it was the doctor telling them something along the lines of your wife/mom has had a severe breakdown and will need significant treatment, I always find it more authenic when characters speak in the accent, cadence etc where the stories take place but I'm enjoying the series regardless.

Actually, I do understand. I live in NC in an area where we're outnumbered by Yankees. I can go all day and not hear a Southern accent. I get a little overexcited sometimes and feel like I have to represent for the South, thus the comment on the lack of Southern accents. I do like the show a lot so far. I was feeling a little slow on the uptake myself. She went to the hospital. right? I didn't realize she was deceased until it was I think mentioned that the family no longer existed. And I didn't realize Terry was dead until his wife said his last words were, basically, I didn't do it.

I agree. But not all of them. My brother lives in Atlanta and it is definitely a Southern city, accents and all---smaller cities and rural areas even more so.

This is set in Georgia but no one has a southern accent except some inmates and the low life manager of the strip club? Hey, executive producer and star Jason Bateman, how f'ing lazy can you be in your production? I call fowl. Ben Mendelshon has a great voice. He should do the current form of books on tape, if he doesn't already. I just googled him and found out he is Australian. I never would have known- his American pronouciations are so good. Mare Winningham never changes. She looks the same as a young woman as she does at 60. This first episode could have been cut by 15 minutes, Jason Bateman's character is in big trouble. We get it.
