  1. Harrison asks, did you have contact , talk, text. . . For Clare, he left off "stalk"
  2. Shut up with the show up.
  3. Exactly! That's what I meant by her holding it close to her chest. She and the ring will be "as one." She ain't losing out on this one!
  4. Oh, I laughed-cried over this one!
  5. As excited as Clare was about the ring this season, and as much as she couldn't take her eyes off it, I'm pretty sure she went to bed the night of the proposal crooning to her ring as she clutched it tight to her chest, "We'll never be parted again. We'll always be together." lol.
  6. Stop being so thirsty, Clare. It's not a good look for you.
  7. I don't know; maybe one person's pettiness is another person's honesty. Plus, I'm thinking it had been discussed so much already on the show that it would be part of the storyline, regardless, and Henry's mentioning it would not be the first time it had been discussed on camera. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
  8. I think whatever information Henry found out about ChristinA or observed early on was filed under "Forewarned is Forearmed." He saw her impatience right away and was told at the wedding that she was recently out of a long term affair that was (possibly) with a married man. He was willing to keep an open mind and continue on with the marriage to see how they got along and if they were compatible. If I were Henry and heard at the wedding that she had been in a five year relationship with a married man, I wouldn't march over and say, "What's this I hear about you being in a years-long relationship with a married man?" I think he took what he saw and heard during the wedding/reception/honeymoon with a grain of salt and continued the process to see how things went from there. As time went on, he saw more dishonesty, (and she said in a clip that she had a history of being a "flamboyant liar",) more rudeness and an effort to keep him in line by threatening to reveal a text--which may or may not have been real--that he was gay. She added for good measure that people at the wedding (I think it was then) kept asking her if he was gay. She wanted him to take charge in the bedroom department and he didn't want to take charge with someone he wasn't attracted to and--I'm guessing here--didn't even like very much. IIRC, at the reunion Henry said he didn't think muddying the waters with a sexual relationship when their communication was so off kilter was a good idea. Henry said he's not a good communicator but I think just not being a liar puts him head and shoulders above ChristinA. (Yeah, that was mean. Sorry not sorry.) Henry did say he avoids confrontation so that did prolong the relationship. Had he said-- you lied about where you live, you're rude to people, you tried to blackmail me; we're done--things surely would have been over before DD. I'm guessing he decided to wait it out, play by the rules and officially end it on DD.
  9. How come Kevin gave Brett a hard time---I can tell you how you acted! Do you want to know how you acted? (I'm paraphrasing) -- and let ChristinA skate? Boo! Hoping we get more info on her actions--admitting she used to be a flamboyant liar, more info on the phone call she received stating Henry was gay, more info on her rudeness to the crew--when they have everyone together.
  10. Sounds like Miles finally told Karen that things were not ok--ie, put Karen in her place, which is what she said she wanted from a man--and then she decided she liked him after all.
  11. I can't believe this. I posted in the "We need to get a divorce" episode this afternoon and forgot to switch over to tonight's Reunion episode. I couldn't figure out where everybody was. So I'm bringing my comments over to this thread, lol. I burst out laughing when Kevin said that, after he and his wife watched the reunion show and watched Woody give Amani a ring, his wife asked why he wouldn't give her some Woody. Yes, I'm 12.
  12. In defense of alley cats, they probably had to be mean to survive. They are outside with no shelter, no consistent food source and have to be on the lookout for people who throw rocks at them to shoo them away from their houses. We had a cat roaming our neighborhood, and once I started putting food out for him, he stuck close to my house. At first, he hissed and spit when I got too close to him, but then he gradually became more friendly, meowing at me when I talked to him, rolling around on the sidewalk in front of me and then finally rubbing around my ankles. One day I decided to reach down and pet him and he just melted. He let me pet him and rub him and he just purred and purred. He's now my cat and is just the sweetest and gentlest cat. Sometimes they just need love. I've seen this happen so many times: People say they hate cats and then meet one that makes them change their minds. When people tell me they don't like cats, I tell them they just haven't met the right one. And it's been borne out, more times than not. @RACJ82 To me, I don't see anything odd about not wanting pets, not wanting to be around animals, etc. It's no different from making choices about a political party or a religion (or no religion.) You make the choices that suit your beliefs, lifestyle and needs. It doesn't, as noted upthread, bespeak of your character.
  13. Karen: I never have to worry about what Miles is thinking. He always tells me. He tells everybody. I think it's called self absorption.
  14. Olivia needs to find someone A LOT like herself if she chooses to marry again. She doesn't appear to do well with someone who does not see the world exactly the same way she does.
  15. I can't stop laughing over this one. It pretty much says it all.
  16. I'm starting to think Clare is a MAJOR narcissist. Me, Me, Me! I showed up, I spoke my mind, I know what I want! There are 20-some guys still there, Clare--who showed up, spoke their minds and are trying to see if you are what they want--it's not just about you! Don't most of the leads know who they are interested in within the first few days? And they manage to keep it together for a season! Grow up! Oh, and Tayshia was speechlessly, breathtakingly gorgeous. Clare who?
  17. Clare, classless? Well, maybe? She is being pretty disrespectful to the guys, Dale, of course, excepted. Clare, stop shining the guys on! They're not as stupid as you make them out to be!
  18. Dale: The Master Suckup
  19. OF COURSE Dale comes to comfort her! Not a setup by Show at all!!!
  20. I kind of feel bad for these guys. They were behind the eight ball from day one.
  21. Thanks, Starlight925. I'm thinking now I could have gone back and checked the board myself instead of having you spoon feed me an answer! But I quit working and, since then, I think my alpha waves have gone flat and thinking seems to be a foreign concept! So thanks! : )
  22. Many people on this board call her ARmani. So often that it's probably become an auto-correct for a lot of people, which is cool, but it's not her name. Have my eyes like Rhiannon Hunters's, done an auto-correct on her name on this board? Because I haven't noticed that at all, either.
  23. I'll be right there beside you dodging tomatoes because I feel the same: I'm Team Brett. Brett says outrageous things in a deadpan manner and I think he is hysterically funny. Everything he says has a sarcastic bent to it and is said as humor. Or at least that's how I take it. My best friend and I have a similar sense of humor as Brett and we'll go out and be sarcastic and snarky and laugh so hard we'll be crying. If I were to say the same things to another close friend, she would be frowning and semi-offended. I have a t shirt that has a picture of Stalin on it and the words, "Dark humor is like food. Not everybody gets it." ( ---Stalin infamously starved the Russian people twice. Had to look that one up.) OK, I'll slink back to my table for one, reserved under the heading, "Table for All Who Appreciate Brett's Humor."
  24. Not that I have a girl crush or anything --cough--but I hope Humble Opinion weighs in on this episode. I always look forward to her insights.
  25. This. Now that we're getting to the end of the "experiment" (which consists of legally binding marriages, in case anyone forgot,) looking back at the season, he does seem a little extra, and very much in tune with what he thinks and feels and believes and wants and what he gives to the relationship and what he wants from the relationship and what he is actually getting from the relationship, etc. Karen saw his instagram prior to their marriage and told a producer she didn't think he was her type, that he seemed more emotional with a tendency to overshare, more so than what she felt comfortable with. I think Karen would be more attracted to the stereotypical strong, silent type. I'm starting to see the relationship from her perspective and beginning to see why she may have reservations about the marriage. YMMV
