We don’t know that for sure. Kelli has no qualms about telling a girl she’s too thin. It’s very possible she’s spoken to worrying girls and they just haven’t made progress yet. Auditions will be interesting.

Rachel is too orange haha that's my only gripe with her look. kelli and judy pick their 'looks' (hair, etc)...why do they insist on her being that color? we know they yell at girls for over tanning so they must be OK with it?? i don't get it. Wow, that comparison pic of daphne is alarming. i'm not going to arm chair diagnose but i hope she is OK.

I didn't think Daphne looked too thin until i saw that pic above that they already removed. that is a bit worrying. I wonder if she thinks point is a possibility and is competing with Gina to be the skinniest blonde. Makes me sad. No secret that I love Rookie Rachel and I knew she'd kill it on the shoot! I don't really think she'd get a cover as a rookie but you never know. Amy is always a breath of fresh air to me. Pretty but not overly sexed up. I would love to see Molly or Heather get a cover - they are both the most impressive to me thus far.

I love Savannah 🙂 I personally think this will probably be her last year tho, just because she cheered for a while in NY too and may be ready to move on.

i think she has a lot of issues that largely stem from immaturity and being coddled. And I'm not talking about being a DCC mentor. wishful thinking though i'm sure since i know at least Jennifer tried to talk to her about 'locker room behavior' and listening instead of always speaking up, etc. And hey, maybe she needs to get kicked off a team for behavior to have it click. Who was her boot buddy?

haha i guess i don't think Vic is THAT bad. she's just immature - like others have said, she has had glitter blown up her tush her whole life and always been a sOloIsT. I think she'd benefit from being on a squad with a leader who gave tough love and where she had a year of following rules and working with a group. is it weird that i wish i could mentor her LOL i don't know why i have a soft spot for her guys!!!

i wish victoria would do a year or two on another squad, get some experience and maturity before trying out for DCC again.

Last I heard all of the TCCs cut during camp were going to re-audition, though things can change, of course. As of now Tara is not re-auditioning. I doubt we will see her try out for any teams though I wish she'd do the hip hop team. she has been more interested in finding her identity outside of pro cheer and it seems like she's doing amazing.

Maybe, but I don't think so. Alyssa is by no means a bad person but she was not an impressive DCC in any way but looks. Ashton was WAY more upset about Alyssa getting cut than Alyssa was lol Alyssa was pretty much over it.

i'm not talking about final say so. i'm talking about who they like and treat well. girls have still been on the squad but in the doghouse/fallen from grace. this past year was proof of that.

aw you're sweet 🙂 I am tentatively back-ish anyway. As far as I know, there will be another season but I guess something could change. I follow Natalie (from early seasons) on IG, the one who works for CMT and the show, and she had something quite recently showing her and one of the cameramen filming, saying something about being back behind the camera, auditions right around the corner. Not sure what the point of filming that would be if they weren't going to have more episodes. I suppose it could be an old picture. I can't imagine Kelli would want to miss the opportunity for the drama of VK re-auditioning and so many vets coming back and the painful cuts that could lead to. i'm not so worried for rookies as I am the girls going into their third year. There is an undeniable tendency for K&J to love a girl one year and not the next. Anything is possible, really.

ROTY I think will be a dark horse. My guess is Caroline. She is another Heather O in my opinion. VOTY is harder. I could see it being Lacey, or even Kashara pulling a Holly Hubbard and getting VOTY and ROTY. But Robin won it her final year without ever being a pro bowl girl or point or anything so someone like Tasha or Khalyn I could also see.

i wish i could send you some of ours! where i live is actually one of the rainiest in the US (after Seattle lol). Everything sure is green.

my husband and i hiked Mt Diablo in August near Oakland and we were shocked by how dry everything was... sometimes i think it'd be nice to know it's going to be hot and dry every day so you could plan stuff but I'd rather have rain and less chance of these fires :(

There are so many great dancers/performers on the squad this year! I have no idea how they'll pick just four. I feel like Kashara is a given and it seems like Gina always gets noticed too. Honestly, there are rookies I could see her picking, like Bridget and Ashlee.

I hate to have her slammed if I misunderstood - she had it in one of her IG story captions so I can't go back to verify. I'll try to find out for sure, I don't want to falsely accuse her if I didn't read it right. I don't think she was in a group costume with Christina tho, Christina and Slade were a couples thing IIRC. Yes, I believe that is right! Slade was Wayne. I should have taken screenshots from all their IG stories lol

it was intense, in its entirety (which was not shown). i think it will go down in their dcc folklore. +1 I think I have to say same. Sav is close behind Lauren for me. My rookie edition is JALYN (rockstar, WOW), Rachel W and Briana. I do love Bridget too, sometimes she just looks sooo young to me but i want to be her bff...lots of great rookies tbh.

I don't think Charlotte dislikes Brennan or wants her to fail, etc. when they were splitting hairs in final deliberation that night they were going over everything from who is the biggest dance risk to who isn't as "HD-ready". kelli is not kidding when she says how brutal it was to take it to 36. i know we all say ugh malena should have been ages ago but she personality and football knowledge etc were so great that kelli just had the worst time letting that go. i can't recall now everyone who was considered...I think taylor j for some dance issues like they noted in the episode. Yes!! Ashlee does remind me of NIcole Hamilton, so agree!!

LOL was curious to see what all they'd show in this episode. Charlotte was there because Kelli and Judy wanted her to be; I don't know if they really wanted HER to be the one to announce the team but they asked her to come because she wouldn't give them 38 and they really didn't want to cut anyone else, so who did SHE think they should cut. IIRC she said Malena and Brennan...Kelli knew she needed to cut Malena but saw more potential in Brennan than some of the others. From what I've heard, they were down to the absolute smallest details to make final cuts and more girls than we saw on episode were considered as the cut. I think Lily was just too under the radar this summer and that's what ended up getting her the goodbye boot. I do feel terrible for her...Malena had to know she was bottom of the barrel but there was no one else CLEARLY obvious. I think Lily will reaudition - she's living with girls on the team now and obviously she did well. With so little seniority remaining next year I'd think she'd have no problem making squad next summer if she fixes the little things they mentioned. They were kind of Malena with what they showed of her office visit. It was quite the meltdown. I will be surprised if she reauditions and if they'd even take herI back to camp. I wonder if she got the nice edit because they felt bad in retrospect keeping her for ten freaking weeks and said goodbye at zero hour knowing she had no job to go back to, etc. I have other thoughts but for now...I love Ashlee. I think if she stays a few years she could be another Kashara. she has the extra pop and sass and is so pretty. Poor Jalyn with that first game. No wonder she got the ABBEY bear lol
