Ok, watching this again and I have to say, hannah really is killing it! Lexie looks good to me too. she's def one of the best third years. Hannah's shorts seem shorter than the other girls' tho! is it just me?? she's thin and in great shape so it's not like she's busting out of them, they just seem to fit her differently. I've said I think Bridget is cutesy but I totally agree that she sells a performance - it's amazing how she makes an open mouth smile look fun and not clown-ish! a stark contrast when she's across from Gina (whom I still love). what a fun, once in a lifetime performance for them!!!

And that's completely understandable. Everyone has different ideas of beauty. Like I think Bridget is a cutie pie with great dancing personality, but not photogenic and looks like a kid hanging out with the big girls. I don't get the lifeless eyes thing at all with Rachel W - she is photographed a ton at games and I think she looks amazing - my only complaint with her look is the orange tan. But again, different strokes! 🙂 Ok this picture made me laugh out loud with Jalyn cut in, love it !

I think they just mean they don't photograph as well as some.

Julia is one of the strongest performers though so if they cut her for her chiseled features not coming across right, i will be sooooo pissed!! And as someone with a round face I would kill to have her facial features. Taylor P I just know so little about...she's another one that's way too orange. She and Rachel W need to stop with that.

Yes. Emma (rockstar red head all star emma). She made SG her first year then had a poor SG audition going into her second year. She made it back to SG the next two years and clearly has done just fine for herself. I expect the same for Jalyn 🙂 I wonder if that means Cassadee will be a guest on the show this summer? I truly have NO idea but she's kind of like a Raelynn/Kacey.

they totally have thrown 'rumor bones' out before... remember when they released a picture of Robin at point a few summers ago and everyone was like OMG!! totally trolling us. It would not shock me at ALL if they are purposely holding off on setting the triangle because of all the rampant speculation here. I know I would.

They definitely do not take new cameo photos for all stars. still looking like your cameo pic is a huge draw to getting selected.

SG is always interesting to me because, especially these last few years, they bring in fancy judges and act like it's a super intense judging process...when at the end of the day, it is never about who actually scored the highest amongst everyone but who Kelli and Judy want. Period.

Thank you for posting all of these pictures!! i, too, am blown away by how nice most of the photos are compared to past years. I do think weather helped. But honestly, these new second years are just fire. Their figures all look amazing, beautiful faces, and they just pose well and make better facials (more natural) than some of the older vets. And I say that as someone who likes a lot of the 'older vets' lol But I'm just really blown away by how gorgeous all of last year's rookies look. DANG. On older vets though, Maddie looks FIRE this year. Her hair looks so much better - what the heck was she doing differently there? do it all the time, Mads!! her make up was so pretty too. Rachel A always takes good pics. Bridget's solo was cute. Alot of jumping around doing tricks but she does them well, very clean and powerful. She is really enjoyable to watch even if that song made my ears bleed. I really am trying to warm up to her look because i like her dancing a lot.

I believe Maddie and Lexie have Rachel W, Alanna and Ashlee. Rookies Chandi, Lisa and Julia. This was true at one point anyway, they always end up shifting people around as cuts are made. i think the kat and VK dynamic is the most interesting one in the group. that is a LOT of extra!! (and i like both of them)

Interesting reading everyone's opinions! I really liked Lily and think she looks like a vet. Victoria was great in the clip too and she still seems to be keeping weight in check. Gina is a rockstar. I still think she should at least get to practice at point and see if she helps elevate the others to meet her performance. Agreed on Caroline - WOW. Love her. her kicks are sooo pretty.

I think it’s just to have variety. Nothing more and nothing less. And it’s not a must, just something I’ve been told in the past they like to do if possible.

hmm interesting thought...i actually am not sure if they consider hair color for groups. i do know that's important to them for who goes on appearances together.

it is kind of unexpected but then, Holly Arielle was VOTY, pro bowl, point and wasn't an all star either.

I know that Kashara has been working with the DCC in other capacities this summer.
