It's become fucking pathetic on their part! At least they didn't give us any "TOP OF THE MORNIN' TO YEE!" tropes from St. Patrick's Day on their And Now... segment!

John did manage once to rush through an entire piece they did months on concerning air travel, that was humanly fast forward because of an important story that happened that week that took up most of the show. And this was just before the summer travel season was about to get under way. But they must have figured it was not that important by the way they handled it. Just like they felt it was not that important for them to do an entire show on Ukraine which they should have!

Yeah, they should have focused the entire show on Ukraine. They devoted an entire show on Bret Kavanaugh's SCOTUS confirmation hearing, for fuck sakes, so Ukraine should have been a no brainer! Step up your game, Ollie. You're fucking better than that!😠

Well that was rather cheesy. But in a good way. It was clear they were re-creating Kawhi Leonard's game 7 buzzer beater from the 2019 quarter finals against Philadelphia.

Awesome! Can't wait to see it. I was wondering if or when they were going to insert the Canadian inventor of basketball, Dr. James Naismith, into an MM episode, and if someone from the Toronto Raptors would be a part of it. Although I just assumed it would be one of the players, like Fred Vanvleet. The only thing good about last week's episode was that it was finally the end of Ralph Fellows!

Nothing surprises me when it comes to who actually done it in MM. And as for accepting her daughter, it's always good to see parents accept their gay children for who they are. Even moreso in early turn of the 20th Century Toronto. That mother just sacrificed her own freedom and possibly her own life just to make her lesbian daughter happy!

I thought Kate was a very good singer. Not at the level of Ariana DeBose mind you, but still very good that she can hold her own!

Bowen Yang as Yao Ming, and Chris Redd as Eric Adams were the highlights of last night's show. And I was so losing it with the segway to Taco Bell in WU. Chloe dressed up as Elmo made it look like Elmo swallowed Chloe whole!

And because of that, we saw Competent Constable Higgins in the episode. Shame that Young Brackenreid never got romantically involved with Mary Pickford. That would have been a fictitious theme I could definitely believe in! Oh Julia. No matter how progressively advanced you are at the time, you're quite the prude when it comes to questioning the taste of people wanting to watch risque (pornograhic) films!

Stephen did bring that up with Jon B tonight, and said that if they were put in the same position as they were at the start of the pandemic, that he'd FUCKIN'NOT go back into that closet. He was most emphatic about it!

As a baptized Lutheran who attended a Catholic wedding, I concur with Catholicman Stephen's opinion about how too God damned long Catholic weddings are!😪 Enjoyed the animated segment. The only thing that would have made it even better is if John McClane had flown in and yelled "HO-HO-HO, MUTHAFUCKAH!!!"

Last night's episode was a rerun of this particular show. I recorded it and saw it anyways just to watch Bowen Yang chew it up again!

I can accept a lot of things out of this series. Pendrick's revolutionary inventions getting squashed because of some kind of sabotage is one. Many famous or soon to be famous people popping up and getting involved is another. But this? No matter the storyline, MM has always maintained a high level of respect for the history that the show takes place. Something like this is an attempt to stick ones thumb into the eye of the viewer, and I'm not one that appreciates that. The only way out of that situation would be if Julia has another miscarriage. Otherwise, I'd end up losing a lot of respect for the series going forward. I don't like having my intelligence insulted like that!

Well that explains everything! I can't imagine the show's big wigs were thrilled with this news, seeing as this'll screw everything up regarding Julia being a sterile woman who's last attempt at conceiving a child failed. How can they make this baby survive, given how attempts at helping women who are having trouble giving birth successfully are at least 50 years away, and still make it seem somewhat believable? They can't! This could prove to be a jump the shark moment with this series! Wasn't that fond of the visit to the mansion by most of the cast. But I did enjoy the other storyline where Miss Hart and Watts help out a threesome of triplets and a puppy on Christmas Eve. I liked seeing this side of Miss Heart helping out the orphans and puppy, and getting Watts to be less Grinchy!

I get the impression that Monday's show was taped last week before the Thanksgiving holidays.

About last week’s episode. Uhh…wow. If I don’t have to hear from the Newsome clan ever again, I’d be happy with it! I was just watching A Very Merry Murdoch. Never saw it before, but I must say, I quite liked Ed Asner’s performance as Kris Kringle, as well as Peter Mansbridge’s cameo as the mayor’s aid. Mansbridge has quite the sense of humor on him!
