I feel Leah owes me an explanation on that dress she chose to wear... And those nails...

When the time is right? That's a weird way to put it. But reading between the lines, I'd say Kail is sick of him knocking up other women and put him in a timeout. I'd say it was because the pool got drained, but that probably happened months ago. And I know I don't know Chris, but I still speculate he has little interest in being a father and visits Lux when there is something else in it for him.

Agreed. Honestly, I don't think production has ever gotten a handle on what drives ratings for this show. That is not to say they were unable to score high ratings- clearly, circa 2012-2013 they were. I mean, 3.5 million viewers for a cable reality show is nothing to sneeze at. But even when this show was relatively still well watched, I don't think production quite figured out why they were well watched. Now they are throwing everything but the kitchen sink out trying to improve ratings and having no idea why it's not working. It's not their fault exactly- the method of watching TV has changed drastically since 2009, I mean the sheer amount of options for the viewer makes it challenging for any series to keep their fans, plus the concept of cable is kind of passe, anyways, and the average viewer is freaking fickle and these girls haven't changed one iota since they started filming 10 years ago. Much as I dislike these girls, it is a credit to them that they have been able to maintain the interest they have, even if it is rapidly dwindling. But really, production, I mean, have a little dignity. You're embarrassing yourselves with this desperate and fruitless ratings grab. You never will be the cable juggernaut you once were, no matter how much you try and Jerry Springer it up.

Damn, I didn't realize the TM2 girls were only paid $10K. I actually thought it was closer to $30K. The number I heard was that the TM1 girls got $50-60K for their first season, and the TM2 girls got roughly half that. Before long though, the TM2 girls were outearning their OG counterparts. More interesting is that I've heard (completely unverified) that the OG girls did not all receive the same salary, while the TM2 girls were mostly the same. I think at this point though enough has been published where the original 8 (I guess not counting more or less fired Farrah) are all paid roughly the same, not counting bonuses. I don't know what goes through the heads of the producers, so maybe they really think Chris is a ratings goldmine, but I don't see it myself. I just can't see anyone finding the show more worthy with him on it.
-
But that was at the height of the show's popularity when Adam was being paid that. As pointed out, Briana was only offered $25K for the first season she was on a few years back. I can't believe they'd pay Chris $60K. Ratings for this show are falling exponentially each season.

Was Lauren the girlfriend he had a few years ago that he took to Disney World, along with Lincoln, and he accused Kail on social media of intentionally throwing away one of his magic bands/DW tickets in the trash just to fuck with him? Or was that a different girl?
-
The income requirement alone probably precludes Victoria from being the sponsor. $25K in her area would probably translate to full time menial work (like a server, cashier, etc) and I would bet she's not working full time, if she even has a job in the first place. This is a very dumb thing for Leah to do. My friend married someone from a different country. It was not a green card marriage- they were in a many years long romantic relationship that started when he came over for school. It was still incredibly unbelievable what she had to agree to in order to allow him to stay here. There is no way in hell Leah should be signing that for someone she barely knows.
-
Per google (I know nothing of immigration law) you have to be a home owner, and there is a minimum personal income requirement. These sponsor responsibilities are no joke. Leah should think really, really, long and hard about this.
-
I love how in the holler clan, all acts of irresponsibility are absolved via "god's will" or some other form of predetermined destiny of which they are powerless to stop.

She could be full of shit, but I actually think she is sincere because Cole basically does whatever the fuck Chelsea tells him to do, and he acts like he likes it. Which maybe he does. I think that kind of pushover sycophant behavior would get super old to most people, but Chelsea may be the one exception. I don't know that Chelsea has ever really considered what a number her relationship with Adam did on her psyche, and the damage is manifesting itself into a relationship with the most boring, agreeable, non threatening partner alive. What I can't figure out is what exactly is in it for Cole.

That's what I think too. If Chris was offered $300K, I am sure he would be completely willing to film. And I know not everyone has a price...but something tells me Chris does.

She could...but the people that hate follow her are still clickers (probably more so than her actual fans), and she needs clicks. Reminds me of one of my favorite lines from the Howard Stern movie: Researcher: The average radio listener listens for eighteen minutes a day. The average Howard Stern fan listens for - are you ready for this? - an hour and twenty minutes. Kenny: How could this be? Researcher: Answer most commonly given: "I want to see what he'll say next." Kenny: : All right, fine. But what about the people who hate Stern? Researcher: Good point. The average Stern hater listens for two and a half hours a day. Kenny: : But... if they hate him, why do they listen? Researcher: Most common answer: "I want to see what he'll say next."

I would not call Leah smart at all. I would say of the 4 TM2 girls, Kail is above average in intelligence, Jenelle is of average intelligence, and Leah and Chelsea are below average in terms of intelligence. And I am not confusing ignorance with intelligence- all these girls are ignorant as fuck with no intention of becoming informed. I just mean in general, how their thought process works, their ability to understand, to adapt, etc.

Leah is fucking needy though. I mean, they both pulled a bait and switch on each other. Jeremy gave her a TON of attention and affection in the beginning, and Leah played The Cool Girl because she was getting so much validation from a smitten Jeremy without even really trying. If they had stayed boyfriend and girlfriend it probably would have fizzled out in 6 months, but instead they had to get married and have a baby right away in order for each of them to lock down their respective prize. Also, Jeremy's job is very physically difficult, I am sure, but I am not sure he really minded going to the local bars and flirting with the locals in the evenings at whatever podunk town he was staying at while he worked during the day. I wouldn't want to be married to Leah either, but then I wouldn't have married her, I wouldn't have intentionally gotten her pregnant (twice), and I certainly wouldn't be hooking up with her now out of boredom. Jeremy has terrible judgment and he always bails and leaves someone else holding the bag, in this case, his 6 year old daughter.
-
Kail actually posted this? I know she feels like this is "proof" that Chris is choosing her over his latest knocked up hookup, but how can she not realize how fucking trashy this is to post?

Haha, believe her one and only appearance on this show was the wedding of Corey and Leah in season 1. I think she was doing Leah's hair. All I remember is this constant "die, bitch" expression on her face as she was talking to Leah before the wedding. While Corey's dad and stepmom have always had, I thought, an honest affection for Leah and respect for her as their granddaughters' mother, I think his mother has always despised her.
-
OK, this comes from spiraling Leah, so take this with a grain of salt, but one of her biggest complaints about Jeremy's work commitments was often misunderstood. Leah said, shortly before they separated, that her biggest beef with Jeremy's job is that he actually did not have to work out of town. From how she explained it, there was work to be done locally, and the pay was very good (about $2,000 weekly). However, if Jeremy elected to take the out of town work, he received a very large pay differential plus a per diem for food and incidentals, since he would be basically living in a hotel for months/weeks at a time. The bump in pay he would get for this would basically up his earnings by 150%. Her unspoken but heavily implied accusation was that Jeremy volunteered for the work solely to get some space from Leah. And you know what? I absolutely believe that. Sure, maybe he felt he had to make extra money since Leah was burning through it at an alarming rate. Maybe his company frowned on him not volunteering for the out of town assignments. Maybe if the company did not get a lot of volunteers, they would make it mandatory and he'd have to go anyways. But I absolutely believe that at least some of his motivation to volunteer for this was that it got him away from Leah and that chaotic house. As to what his options are now, I can't say. I am, however, highly skeptical that Jeremy takes every opportunity he possibly has to see Addie. I think there have definitely been times when he's chosen to go out and party and meet girls on nights when he could have been with Addie, even knowing he had a limited amount of time to spend with her.

Haha, unusual is my "Minnesota passive aggressive nice" way of calling her stupid.

I didn't even catch that! I was wondering how Corey could do work in his industry from home! I think there's plenty of evidence that Corey avoids recognizing the seriousness of Ali's illness, and this is not okay. Honestly, I believe that Corey would prioritize taking off from work early to catch Ali's softball game over taking off early to hit the road to make the drive to Columbus Ohio and be lectured by Dr. Tsao on why he, along with Leah, is not following the doctor's orders. This is inexcusable, but if you ask me, Leah isn't any better just because she actually goes to the appts- it's not like she listens to Dr. Tsao either! Their stubborness and and disregard for a national specialist's medical advice is bordering on negligence and they should both equally be ashamed. But, despite what doctor Jeremy says, I have no doubt that Ali and Gracie are very secure in the fact that their father loves them. What boils my blood about Leah is her hypocrisy. She says she wants to get along better with Corey and Miranda for the twins' sakes, then hurls a bunch of accusations about Miranda when Miranda is not present to defend herself. Gee, Leah, can't imagine why she doesn't like you. But let's be real. Leah has no interest in getting along with Miranda. She has interest in looking to her fans like she's the bigger person, while continuing to fan whatever fire against Miranda that she can. Kail pulls the same BS all the time and it's equally transparent.
-
If I recall she had a habit of rolling up Isaac's shit diapers after she changed him and then just walking off with the baby, leaving it on the floor for the mom's boyfriend to throw away. Like how freaking hard is it to walk the 10 feet to throw a diaper away?
-
Corey's dad posted a picture of Ali at Nationwide Children's hospital on 11/21, says it's a tradition that she pose by a certain hotel landmark every time they go. No word on if Corey was there, but it sounds like the whole clan has their traditions. My guess is, Corey missed the last appt for whatever reason, and the previous visit to Dr. Tsao was months earlier, which is why Jeremy said Corey hasn't been to Columbus in who knows how long. That is a deliberately misleading sentence, particularly for someone who IS involved in their kids' day to day activities.
-
Well, Leah is the one crying about how awkward it is when she sees Corey and Miranda at the girlses' softball games. I have to imagine going on national TV to insult your ex and his wife doesn't really help. She sure has an unusual way about going about having a better relationship with them.

My bet is that MTV didn't actually offer Javi a contract and now he's just saying he doesn't want to be filmed. But that's just speculation. I mean, this is a guy who allegedly intentionally got a girl-that he just met- pregnant in the hopes of getting his own MTV storyline.
