I'm not an American and I was young when these things were happening so I knew next to nothing about this matter. I didn't love the season, I was really spoiled with the second season of the series so I was expecting something better. After the show ended I looked up Linda Tripp and I was shocked seeing the actress who is playing her. After the shock I read an interview she did about this role and I got mad because she was right talking about the fat-phobia that exists in the world and in the show business specifically. I mean, why take a skinny actress and give her a fat suit and not find an overweight actress from the beginning? I got really mad with this matter, I'm sorry if you all have talked about this matter before. All in all I think this season was not necessary, the info I got about this matter gave me nothing. There were MANY MANY details that I don't find were of any use about anything.

Scenes From A Marriage - General Discussion

Ask yourself this: would Jonathan become an egotistical person were it not for Mira's behavior? -
That's unfair and I'm tired of hearing that. I hate every person who is cocky and arrogant, despite their gender. If I had to dislike someone's aggressive game I'd dislike a man's aggressive game more because it usually includes misogyny as well. Shan, above all else, has a hypocrisy as well in my opinion because she uses the fact of her being a pastor to win over people and to justify her shitty behavior. She is not the player Shan, she is the pastor Shan who wants people to love her and listen to her because she is a pastor but not behave like an actual pastor herself.

Kemi from BB22 with Taran to do the podcast, another Survivor expert lol
-
So wait, they have started promoting Survivor 42 ALREADY? This means 41 is such a disappointment that they want to yada yada it fast and start 42. Of course it is if you create a theme song for your winner on the first episode!👿
-
Claire is an exception. All the other former BB players, what is the excuse for being there other than bringing rates cause people know them? Taran already had Kevin Martin and Ovi. Are they survivor experts? Rhap used to be a friendly podcast and now it's obvious it's all about the money. They don't even let you comment on the live chat on YouTube unless you are subscribed to the channel...
-
This episode should have been called "they voted out for me cause they ain't me" Exciting episode but at what cost? Sorry Shan is winning.
-
I like Claire but I don't understand why former BB players become automatically eligible to discuss Survivor with Taran and vice versa. Taran's podcast is the only one I listen to anymore because all of Rob's survivor podcast need to include a former player who I don't even remember or care to hear from including stupid Stephen. There are so many good live feeders like Pooya, Liana etc who can talk about the survivor episodes. Do we need to see a former BB player to do that? Screw you Rob and Taran.

On this summer's Big Brother the 6 black people in the game made an alliance on day 1 named The Cookout and they actually managed to get to the final 6 and crown the first ever black winner.

So The Cookout is the path that leads Shan to victory! Now it all makes sense!
-
So wait. Survivor created The Cookout before Big Brother? Wth?

Scenes From A Marriage - General Discussion

Well it's still unclear. I remember in episode 4 she said "why is it so hard for us to break up? it's been 4 years". But in episode 5 the only thing talking about time frame was that they were together 17 years, this means 5 more from episode 1's "12 years". So it doesn't really make sense. -

Right. But how do we know that episode 4 and episode 5 were 4 years apart? I heard them say they are together 17 years, so it must have been only 5 years since episode 1 when they said they were together for 12 years. -

My favorite series of all times is by far In Treatment. I was totally in love with Gabriel even though he is my father's age. I always wish I could forget this series so I can watch it again all new. I also loved Six Feet Under. After many many years of series watching I was desperate to find something that would even come close to In Treatment and I finally did. Scenes from a Marriage was everything I am looking for in a series. A story that can actually happen in real life. No sci fi, no monsters, no crimes, only pure emotions and feelings. Human psychology at its best. I want to hug the creator and beg him to make more series like this. I hated Mira and everything she did to her kid and Jonathan. But I mostly hate her for making Jonathan a bad egotistical person in the end. I don't like Isaac. -
Just for the record: Genie did not vote for Ricard during that first tribal council so that he would be the one voted out in case Sara had an idol. Genie simply did not know that the vote was not Ricard all along.

I don't see it as "a condition". I just don't pay attention to people because mostly I don't care :P

Please check your pms :)
-
Haha I hope so too :)

This sounds nice but I don't think they'd have created all this story and the orchestra etc just to plan her downfall. She wins and it will be just like Denise winning.

Just name this season "Shan's season" and get it over with. Another boring winner. And we are only on episode 5 lol. Just let someone else speak for a change! Poor purple Heather and purple Erika :(

I hear you all saying it's the advantages that confuse people but in this episode there was no mention of advantages, it was a traditional more or less Survivor episode and still I don't see people being that interested. From my point of view I think it's the number of people in a tribe. From episode 1 we knew who is the two bottom people in each tribe and who calls the shots so it was boring to know who would leave if they lost the challenge. Even now we know who are the next people who will leave. Erika from blue, Xander from yellow and Genie from green. It's like in BB23 where we knew the non-black people would leave first, we just didn't know in what order. If the tribes have 9 people each there is much room to create bonds and mini alliances with multiple people and this makes things more interesting for the viewer.

It's weird that people are not that excited about this Survivor season even though we had to wait for 1,5 hard years for it. Obviously something is going wrong and I'm wondering what it is. Is it the cast? The advantages? The 3 tribes of 6 people? In my opinion it's the tribes. I think that having six people makes it obvious which 2 people are in the outs so it makes it more predictable that these two people will be voted out when this tribe loses. I guess it will become more interesting after the merge where there will be groups of 2-3-4-5 people. But even then it seems that it will be kind of predictable. We have already seen that Evie has approached Deshawn so that means that these two tribes will get together in order to eliminate the third. Everything that is shown on Survivor has a reason.

My winner pick JD is gone. Stupid Shan is winning the season and we are going to listen to this idiotic "song" of hers through the finale. I'm out.
