  1. Oh, I forgot to post this after I Tweeted it to Glark. For comparison's sake, the same bit as the last scene, but from the comic: http://twitter.com/omarg/status/451829194897367040 And Glark's sanitized for AMC version: https://twitter.com/ExtraHotPodcast/status/451837441331060736
  2. Every time I think I'm not going to enjoy a Kate issue as much as a Clint issue I end up loving it. Digging how they're tying it back in with what's going on back home.
  3. Radnor was also on Professor Blastoff (with Tig Notaro, Kyle Dunnigan and David Huntsberger) this week. After listening to him on both podcasts I'm quite sure I'm Radnor'd out. http://professorblastoff.com/6imte3az291jl3qjpuxllr3rbvkw49/2014/4/149-screenwriting-with-josh-radnor
  4. I disagree that decisions don't carry over. It affects what characters end up around you. The ending is mostly the same and so are a lot of the major plot mechanics, but the decisions are literally life and death and irrevocable (unless you go back to a previous save or start over). It's not the greatest as a game experience, but it's a devastating story told very well and that's plenty good enough for me.

    Ms. Marvel

Went to my local comic book store and Issues 1 And 2 were completely sold out and only second printings of #1 were available. Second printing already scheduled for #2. Apparently this one's flying off the shelves.
  6. I LOVE Clementine. And I loved the voice actor who plays Lee. Very great voice work all around.
  7. If you haven't played the first season of the Tellgame game, DO IT. It's really great and captures the spirit of the show, but with different characters. Only about three or four video games have ever made me cry and this was one of them. Even if you're not a gamer, give it a try. It's on PC, iOS, etc. and not difficult to play at all. Each episode (there are five) is only an hour or two long. They're on Episode 2 of Season 2 right now and the story carries over from the first season. There's an episode in the first season that has parallels to the Terminus stuff we've been discussing.
  8. I should also mention that I always enjoy it when Greg Nicotero is on. He seems to love his job and has directed some really good episodes.
  9. Yep, not unlike "Tortilla."
  10. He gets a lot of flack for being on so many shows, but I really, really love Hardwick. I think he's fantastic as a host. He keeps things moving along, he's smart and quick and funny and kind. I've also seen him do stand-up and he's hysterically funny at that, too. So now we must be jealous and hate him.
  11. I feel like I could still watch Slap Bet or the episodes this season that were heavy on The Mother. I think taken out of context, the episode where Robin finds out she can't have kids is still poignant. Am I gonna watch them this week? No way. But I would watch some of them in syndication down the road once the sting of the finale has worn off.
  12. Eight years ago. Kids were a little too old to film it now.
  13. The last few minutes: huge whiffle. Otherwise, pretty great.
  14. Because the world has changed and life is what it is.
  15. Yes, I linked to the M*A*S*H video in the Particles recap.
  16. The first season of the Telltale videogame version proved you can do a great WD story without relying on the comic's characters.
  17. And Patrice, who Robin hates, is. Yeah. Somebody dropped the ball.
