So they air the final battle with a coach (Gwen) with a save left. It completely takes the suspense out of it. We know that both Beth and Mia (?) would move on it was just a matter of who would be Team Adam and who would be Team Gwen. Is Ricky the one who looks like Joaquin Phoenix?

Ugh - I know. It reminded me of Idol years ago when it was Bon Jovi week and Jordin Sparks said, "My mom loves you guys!!" They looked like they got punched in the gut.

"Halo" was a giant screamfest. Not very impressed. On the other hand "Yellow" actually made me tear up. I'm super pissed that Matt is on Adam's team.

I think Tyrese simply couldn't bring himself to kill him and figured by the time Martin came to, they'd be long gone and no one would be the wiser.

I was wondering about the Bob thing as well. If they're all infected then it shouldn't matter if Bob got bit, right? I also agree with you that the church may be a trap. It struck me that Gabriel is too...I don't know...clean. I mean, the ZA has been going on for a year and a half now? Even if he was holed up in the church shouldn't he be more disheveled? Dirty? He just looks too put together. Something doesn't add up.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually agreed with the judges' critiques last night. I liked Amanda's, but agreed that she needs to lose some of the maxi looks. I liked the fact that she used some architectural details as an inspiration for her black and white textile. Sean's was fine. He regurgitated the white top from the last challenge and the fringe bottom from the Heidi red carpet challenge, but he won both of those so who can blame him I guess. I'm anticipating he cuts the fringe off the black jumpsuit (which was soooo unnecessary) and off the white grecian dress. As Char's came down the runway I thought, "Wow. This isn't cohesive at all." I loved the fabric she bought in Rome and wish she had done something a bit more interesting or dramatic with it. The black/white dress was OK, but nothing about that said edgy. I forget what the 3rd look was... Kini. Goodness. When I saw the white blouse/skirt combo come down the runway I immediately thought it was just too much and that the blouse paired with skinny pants or shorts would look great. He should be able to whip out a pair in about 20 minutes. I do understand what the judges were saying about ditching the coat. It's a dramatic piece. If Kini indeed has a gown then he doesn't need two big, dramatic pieces. Too much. I did feel for him though--he looked devestated. He's either going to crash and burn or we're in for some huge redemption arc where he pulls new pieces out of his ass at the 11th hour. We shall see.

Seriously. I thought Blais would be the problem for me, but Padma is more intolerable than I remembered. Bitching about fat in a piece of pork belly? Please. I loved Gail response to her on that.

That and no one is forcing these designers to take his advice. He's offering just that--advice. Their designs are ultiamtely their responsibility. ETA: The way Char came back into the room and broke down crying last week after the runway and Korina's obvious hatred for her last night, I get the feeling that there were lots of ugly things said on the runway last week that we were not privy to.

I agree so much about Emily. I really, really like her. I know she wasn't the best designer, but I thought she was so kind and gracious throughout the competition that I kinda hoped she would've made it to the finale. Part of me *sort of* understood what the judges saw in Sean's "Street Wear" look. The cut was different and somewhat unique, but I personally HATED IT. I thought the fabric looked sooooo cheap and it was unflattering overall. I felt like you could have tied a string to her and flown her on a windy day.

Ladies and Gentlemen - I think we all deserve a shot after this long day. I'm wiped.
