  1. I can't even snark on this. I'm too busy screaming, "TAKE HER TO THE HOSPITAL!" at my TV. She seems really sick and not just putting it on like some of the other participants on the show.
  2. As much as I despise the obligatory shower scenes, Tracey's shower really illustrated how disproportionate her bottom half is to her top half. This is a body type I've never seen on this show. She's really not that big on top. Seeing her from the waist up, you think, yeah, she's overweight, but not 600lbs. I have to wonder if gastric bypass/sleeve gastrectomy will even help her since so much of this seems related to the lymphedema. I can't imagine how hard it is for Anthony to maneuver her legs. They have to weigh 150lbs each, and she doesn't seem able to help swing them at all. That's a lot of dead weight to move.
  3. I'm not going to lie, the only thing I'm thinking about right now is the fact that she's eating in the bed, with her plate balanced precariously close to her ladygarden, which I'm 99.9% certain is not being covered by any sort of undergarment. Someone get her some sort of tray or something. Please, for the love of all that's good and holy, get her something to get that plate away from her crotch!
  4. Yasssssss! This is everything I was afraid was too snarky to say. (New poster--still testing the waters.)
  5. And cue the uplifting piano music that accompanies James sitting up (after being hauled into position by three grown adults) for the first time in three years. He gets it! It's all clear to him now! Take that, Dr. Now!
  6. "No, I lost weight. It's just the mattress that makes me look fat." Seriously. This guy.
  7. They can't afford to get the car fixed, but they just bought about $40 worth of Chinese food. They're eating out constantly, and he's acting like a little kid at Christmas over the thought of his dessert. But he can't go see Dr. Now because he can't afford a taxi. I'll take "Sh*t That Makes No Damn Sense" for $2000, Alex.
  8. I, too, am yelling at the TV. My cats are looking at me as though I've lost my mind. Which I have, thanks to this show.
  9. I can only imagine what's going on in the minds of these firefighters and EMTs. The sounds of James bellowing like a wounded rhinoceros are making me want to punch my TV. And I think it's criminal that they pulled Bayley out of school to be her father's caretaker. (Side note: my phone keeps trying to correct "Bayley" to "bakery". Totally apropos.)
  10. "How y'all doing"? Well, if I had to guess, I'd say James's legs are hurting. But he's been so calm and quiet about it, it's hard to tell for sure...
  11. My "I can't even" is at like a level 57 right now. His breakfast was as much food as I cook for my family of five. And don't get me started on the burgers. I can't imagine why you've gained "a little weight", James. Can't imagine at all. And bless his poor father's heart. The man just had a stroke, and here he is refinancing his house to pay for the transport to Houston. His stress level must be through the roof. Just what he needs while he recovers. I'm almost afraid to see how this episode plays out. I barely made it through Tanisha. James may be the end of me.
  12. Kirsten has 99 problems, and not a single one of them is her fault.
  13. Me too! I have never disliked anyone on this show as much as I dislike her. I feel so sorry for her son. I can't believe they would leave this poor kid alone with her while they went back to Washington. Gee, I can't imagine why a teenage boy would possibly be resentful of being handed THAT responsibility. If Kirsten's not careful, she's gonna drown in her own tears. She cries nonstop. It's not an endearing quality in an adult.
