  1. Did I imagine this, or did Noah tell someone a while back that his London girlfriend was also an artist who resented his success and that was what started the tension leading to the breakup? Maybe he considers an IPO Consultant to be a bullshit artist? In any case, I agree that he and Audra don't match at all. They aren't in different leagues, they're playing different sports. Yeah, and Abby might want to be careful being so aggressive in public towards someone she tried to kill. Nick really is a POS. He knows how Adam feels, he suspects Sally is masking her true feelings for Adam (if he doesn't, then he's dumber than we thought, because Sally couldn't take her eyes off of Adam when they were all at Society together), Sally is giving him an easy off-ramp, but he's not going to take it. Mostly so he can stick it to Adam. For once, I'll enjoy Phyllis flapping her arms and screeching at him when she finds out. Oooo, maybe he has Benjamin Button Disease! By the time Devon convinces Abby to let him arrange a get-together for Tucker and Dominic, it's going to wind up being a play date. I think that 11-foot tall woman from the rooftop bar was at Studio 64 (named for the average age of the clientele). But she didn't tower over everyone this time. Maybe they had her standing in a trench?
  2. Tucker sure was confident that Diane would make enough inroads with the Abbotts to be in a position to feed him information. There had to be an easier way, and I don't understand how crashing the wedding would endear him to Ashley, if that was his goal. Shouldn't Nate and Victoria be a little more discreet? Like maybe not meet in her office, or not meet in person at all? Only speak on burner phones? They're acting like they aren't doing something underhanded and illegal. Is that how you pronounce troth? It really rhymes with sloth? I thought it had a long "o" and that the "th" sound was like in "those". Kyle mispronounced amerò yesterday. Accent is on the last syllable, a-mair-O', not a-MER'-o. In any case, what a dud wedding. Can the after-party be any better?
  3. Kyle and Summer were children when Tucker left town. I'm not even sure they ever met him, so their attitude towards him seemed odd. It should have more of "Who the frack is this guy?". Ashley, however, was the injured party in that relationship, so why is Tucker being an asshole to get her attention? Deacon was in and out of prison for the better part of the last ten years, so how he managed to trail Diane and photograph her getting into a Bentley is a mystery. How he managed to keep that photograph is even more puzzling. I also don't understand what is so scandalous about Diane and Tucker being in contact while she was in Los Angeles. Single adults and all... Just when I was softening my seething hatred of Billy Munster, he goes back on the roof and loudly reinvigorates it. Thespian masturbation at its worst. Why do they keep giving him opportunities to do crap like this? I'm so annoyed at the show, I feel like writing a strongly worded letter to the COO, then finding an influencer who will read my letter on their podcast.
  4. Amanda thought she was working for Chance, but the "damn good lawyer" didn't realize she was actually working for con-man Colin (Cane's father). Nice due diligence, Mandy! I can only guess, but maybe this is kicking off an ongoing celebration that will culminate in March?
  5. I think Summer deserves the title of head designer, because she's a designer only in her head. There's an awful lot room up there, after all. When Phyllis descended the staircase, at first I thought she was wearing a bathrobe she stole from The Geek Pharynx before she turned the keys over to Lily. Maybe she's trying to one-up Danny, and she landed a role in the revival of Phyllis and the Amazing Technicolor Nightmare Coatdress. I'm was a TSJ virgin until now. I liked SN as Tucker, but I'm keeping an open mind about it.
  6. Phyllis is such a hateful troll. She promises Summer she'll be on her best behavior, yet she scowls and glares and sneers at every opportunity. I guess doing the right thing when nobody's looking isn't in her wheelhouse. And why in the world would Abby call Phyllis to tell her Dominic is sick? Why not Tracy or Mariah or Noah? I thought Victor would do anything for his fambly, yet he skips his grand-daughter's fifth wedding because he can't stand Jack and he has to go to Chicago to get the finances in order for his hostile take-over of a company that hasn't even announced its IPO intentions yet. Classy. It's weird that the closed-captioning revealed that it's Tucker, because the show seems to be saving that for the future. His name hasn't been mentioned yet, so I would not have known if I hadn't read it here. I also don't remember Tucker having any beef with the Abbotts. I thought he really did love Ashley and regretted hurting her. The crossover was not handled well at all on the B&B end. Deacon handed Nikki an envelope and leered at her as she walked away indignantly. The viewers who don't watch Y&R had no idea what was going on because there was no context around it at all. I wonder if Private Image Ltd. is some reference to Public Image Ltd., Johnny Lydon's post-Sex Pistols band.
  7. So does Karma do anything about someone who shot a man in the back in his own house? Asking for a fiend. Is the voice altering app a real thing? Is that how they make "deep fakes"? If it is real, that's really freaking dangerous. In any case, is it a good idea for a child to have it? Douglas could be calling his school every day as either Thomas or Hope saying he can't come in for whatever reason.
  8. AH seemed distracted or she couldn't remember her lines or something...whatever, that was really bad. Again, Billy was the one making sense. What's happening?!?! Johnny being 13 actually sounds about right. How weird about Conor living at the ranch while Adam and Chelsea both live at the Glastnost Perestroika. Who's watching him? Victor? Invisible Miguel? The cook named Cook? Are you sure it wasn't a boyfriend? Because I think it might have been Stitch.
  9. That CPS agent was hot! I think he should check on Douglas every day, because I'm very shallow.
  10. Deacon and Amber were both on Y&R for a while about 10+ years ago. Deacon and Nikki were drinking buddies, and were even married for a bit (although he blackmailed her into the marriage). Sally is on Y&R now, making some very bad choices... Last week, whIle Deacon and Sheila were arguing, he received a text from an unknown number telling him to meet someone at a hotel. The text was from Nikki, and the meeting all took place on Y&R. She confronted him and asked what he knew about Diane. He told her to come to Il Giardino because he had something she might find helpful. That was the package he gave her. That scene must have made no sense to people who don't watch both shows, one of the pitfalls of these crossover episodes.
  11. It's funny, everything that Phyllis says about Diane are the same things Cricket has spent 30 years saying about Phyllis. If Phyllis had an ounce of self-awareness, she might actually feel a bit of empathy for Diane. I wonder why Diane let Phyllis again get away with acting like her outburst was unprovoked? Agree with how unsettling it is not to be annoyed by Billy. I think I was cheering him on when he shut down Chelsea's delusions.
  12. I think Brooke did tell Ridge, we just didn't get to see it. When he showed up at Steffy's yesterday, he mentioned it and asked Steffy where he was and what he was doing when Brooke called. He, Steffy, and Taylor then had a good laugh. On today's Y&R, Nikki texted her co-conspirator Phyllis a vague message, but didn't yet reveal what Deacon gave her. Nikki was in LA to find out what Deacon knows about Diane Jenkin's life in LA, because it was revealed that Deacon helped Diane fake her death years ago. (I think the crossover is a part of Y&R's 50th anniversary.) As fot the knife, Thomas wasn't simply cutting the apple. He was plunging the knife into the apple as if he was re-enacting the shower scene from Psycho. It was bizarre. Ooooo, good call! Thomas did look kind of fake-shocked when he got home and found the CPS agents.
  13. Well, Brooke did accimadentally assist Thomas off of the cliff when she misconstrued the situation between him and Hope. But, like you said, can't really blame her for that (although Ridge did...)
  14. Actually, Phyllis was with Summer when Noah texted Summer asking her to go to the Guano Pheromone. Phyllis wanted to go with her, but Summer declined. As Phyllis can't respect anybody's wishes, she followed Summer anyway. I can't wait until tomorrow, when Phyllis polymorphs into a giant squid and flaps her tentacles and goes "Fftftfftftffft" again. This club looks just like the Top of the Tower, which is where Noah originally wanted it. Why did't they just run with that story? Noah was filling out that shirt pretty nicely. 🔥
  15. ^Deacon was just released from prison about a year ago. He works in a restaurant mopping floors and cleaning bathrooms, and until recently lived in a storage room at the restaurant. He now has a small apartment upstairs. In other words, he's a broke ex-con on parole, so I don't think he has any pull in the publishing world.
  16. Thank you! I've been screaming this to myself for months now. Nikki may not be guilty of murder, but what about attempted murder? Assault with a deadly weapon? Drunk and disorderly? Pick your battles, Diane. When you see Victor, Nikki, Phyllis, et.al., Do Not Engage. If Nate thinks Devon is controlling, just wait until he gets a taste of being Victoria's underling. Skip the gazpacho, Phyllis. I hear Society's pollo con Nyquil is to die for.
  17. Poseur The Clown! Waste of skin! I love when Bill and the Spencer boys get together.
  18. Oh my gods, that robotic reporter is back. I started imagining Roseanne Rosannadanna speaking her lines, and I've found that to be helpful in getting through her scenes. So it appears that Imani has no idea about Nate's plan. I thought she was the one who planted the seed. I literally lol'ed when she started moaning about her father's health crisis. We've never once seen this man! Are we really supposed to care that he's stressed and exhausted? Have him spend an afternoon with my parents, and he'll think his life is a Club Med vacation. Nikki looked so much like Teri Garr in one of those flashbacks. And those were all flashbacks, not filmed recently. Deacon is still fine, but he's 50s fine now. Oooo, I think you're right about Ashley! Maybe she still has Ravi in her thrall and she had him put the file on Diane's computer. As for Deacon's B&B sleaze...Deacon married Bridget, the (very young) daughter of Brooke and Eric Forrester, basically to get even with Amber (who he was obsessed with) when she married Rick Forrester (Bridget's brother). Bridget and Deacon had eloped to Las Vegas, and the Forresters were furious when they found out. They all sat around their living room and called Deacon on their speaker phone demanding that he bring Bridget home immediately. Deacon left his phone on and proceeded to enjoy his wedding night with Bridget while all of the Forresters were listening. Classic! Then he had an affair with his mother-in-law Brooke, which left her pregnant with Hope. Out of all of Brooke's scandals, betraying a truly good person like her daughter Bridget was probably the biggest one. But, oh my, those two were pure fire. So much pretty. In my opinion, Brooke and Deacon were maybe the hottest couple I've ever seen on a soap.
  19. I wondered the same thing. I hope not, though, because of course Taylor, Thomas, and Steffy will suddenly become magnanimous and insist that Ridge stay with Brooke until she dies, and *then* their precious Forrester family can be reunited. I remember enough of my college French to know that charcuterie is not pronounced "char-cooter-y", although I guess it's entirely appropriate that Steffy would say it that way.
  20. Sally has a brain tumor. She caught it off of JT. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😡 I'm so confused by the hierarchy at CW : A Family Company. Devon and Lily have the same title, and Lily said they are equals. But Lily is an employee, while Devon is a stakeholder. So are they really equals? Lily acts like she's in the one charge, but isn't she Devon's subordinate? The only people deciding about going public should be Jill and Devon. Lily could weigh in, but she should not get the deciding vote. Look at the mess she's created, coercing her brother and her cousin to join her vanity project. So Nate told Elena about his scheme, and he thinks she won't tell Devon or Lily? Good luck with that, moron! Aww, thanks, boesy! I think you're pretty COO-L yourself! Happy weekend, everyone!
  21. I would love for somebody (looking at you, Hope!) to tell Finn how Ridge and Taylor were pushing Liam onto Steffy five minutes after Finn "died".
  22. Not only do I think Sally regretted it, she looked like she was repulsed when Nick was caressing her thigh. I hope this was just a serious lapse in judgment, or perhaps she was having an aneurysm at the time, and that she didn't just defile herself to secure her position at NM. Adam's going to leak the Ashland story now, isn't he? Lily is such a fool. Whatever familial relationship was left between Devon and Nate just got blowed up for good because she pushed them into a stressful situation involving power dynamics. Recipe for disaster. Do moguls often refer to themselves as moguls? Non-CEOs want to know.
  23. Steffy's motto : What have you done for me lately? Has Steffy already forgotten the reason she confronted Sheila in the alley? Because she learned that Brooke had let Sheila know in no uncertain terms that she would be standing on that wall to keep Sheila away from Steffy and her family, and that's the reason Sheila targeted Brooke. Because Brooke had Steffy's back. Meanwhile, Taylor was inviting Sheila over for Christmas and convincing Steffy to let her hold the baby. Steffy is such an ungrateful entitled sweathog, and it's making me crazy!
  24. Steffy and Thomas are beyond deranged. It's actually uncomfortable to watch. It must be nice living in that glass house, Steffy, especially considering that Taylor also worked her way through the Forrester men, and had a few indiscretions of her own while married to Ridge. If Taylor is sooooo embarrassed every time she walks in on her daughter and son-in-law making out, why doesn't she get her own place, or at least move into Steffy's guest house?
  25. Deacon has his hands full right now with another psycho serial criminal. He doesn't have time for Nikki's trifling ass. Yeah, there is negative zero chemistry between Nick and Sally. It's not believable on any level. Is there any other point to this besides driving Adam back to the dark side? Meanwhile, despite all his talk to the contrary, Victor confirmed what little regard he has for Adam. Summer, still stuck on stupid. She literally saw Phyllis in conference with the reporter who wrote the article about Diane, yet believes her mother has totally clean hands and is doing nothing at all to target Diane.
