Yes she was! And seemed to be the most relaxed and un-zombie-like she has been in months.  Hair tossing, eyes sparkling, genuine smile. He seemed to be lighter somehow, too. I don’t remember much about the first Tucker’s time on the show…was she married then?

I think this was the time Sharon was briefly married to Victor (the time everybody wishes they could forget!), and amnesiac Victor went missing and ended up working on the docks in Los Angeles. That was when Tucker worked the angles to get Sharon named CEO at NE.

Unless I missed a big adoption story, Summer is not Harrison's mother.  How can Tara still be in prison for some minor white collar crime?

Billy isn't even entertaining in his jackassery. We all saw the situation. Adam comes literally bearing gifts for his son and makes no snide comments towards him and in fact apologizes for interrupting with little implied sarcasm and in fact seemed less mopey and more cautious and civil. And yet Billy complains to Lily that Adam came 'Oooozing misery' and he isn't good for Chelsea. Is he for real? YOU CAN'T CUT ADAM OUT OF CHELSEA'S LIFE YOU IDIOT. HE'S HER BABY'S DADDY! Sir, just try it and Adam, Connor, AND Victor will be on your ass. And you don't want Victor on your ass again.

Exactly this!  Adam shows up in an upbeat mood, armed with gifts and holiday spirit, working with Chelsea to make plans for Christmas, giving her something to look forward to.  Where was the problem here?  Billy really needs to check himself. It doesn't matter that they are divorced, Adam will always be Chelsea's family, whether sad-sack bozo Billy likes it or not.  And whatever Adam and Chelsea have put each other through, Adam never publicly humiliated Chelsea by calling her a slut as she stood at the altar waiting to marry him, so STFU.

Daniel is the one who took charge of Phyllis' care when she was in her coma, so I think they've had a truce for a while.  Unless....that clinic he found in Georgia was *keeping* her in the coma!  It was the experimental treatment of Victor's specialist that snapped her out of it, after all.

Okay, Im calling out to the Y&R Historians:

Nikki dragging Sally to Nick today (again!) about faking a terminal illness in the past, blah, blah…

Am I misremembering this, or didn’t Nikki do the EXACT SAME THING several years back, during round #387 of the Nikki/Victor/Ashley triangle? I keep waiting for a character to say this to her, but it’s not happening, so now I’m wondering…

Please feel free to remind me what the actual situation was if my memory isn’t serving me well

The way I remember it (and I'm probably glossing over big chunks of story and getting lots of it wrong) is that Nikki actually did have an illness, but she went into remission and never told Victor for fear that he would go back to Ashley.  Victor being Victor, he found out anyway but didn't tell her that he knew.  Instead, he had a coffin delivered to the living room of the ranch and wanted Nikki to start planning her funeral.  And more recently, Victor faked an illness when Adam was tinkering with Victor's meds.

I have an awful feeling that Phyllis is going to be at the center of this year's It's A Wonderful Life/Scrooge Christmas episode.  Cricket, Diane, and Sharon will be the Past/Present/Future Ghosts.  Then we'll be treated to Phyllis' rendition of Silent Night.

Poor Noah.  It's bad enough that he has all the energy of Rip Van Winkle with half of his decades long sleep to go, but now he's got ButtBiscuit at his club as a regular.

A few days ago, he went to the club (can't for the life of me remember what it's called) and made a beeline to stir up trouble with Adam.

A few days ago, I think I heard somebody say it's called The Glam Club, which, just, NO.  I would be beyond embarrassed even to be caught dead in a place called The Glam Club.  What a stupid name.  It's more like The Gloom Club.

I did enjoy watching Phyllis crap her pants when she realized Diane wasn't exaggerating about the threat Jeremy posed.  Of course, she's going to be proven right in the end, but can I just have this moment for now?  Jeremy kind of resembles a beefier Rob Lowe.  That's not a bad thing...

Lily has been taking up that table at Society for ages now, stewing over that waste of skin she lives with.  The servers can't be happy about that, so I hope she plans to leave a 1,500% tip.   Why doesn't she hang out at the ChancellorWinters-owned Grinch Poinsettia restaurant?

  5. Lily has shown remarkable restraint and patience in trying to get Billy to understand that it's going to take a village to get Chelsea through this crisis, not a village idiot.  So I understand her frustration with the whole situation and her need to confide in Daniel.

As for Nate and Devon...I'm going to sit alone at the kids' table, because I actually thought Nate was the one making sense today.  Devon was a big dummy for going to Nate's office and making a big stink, because now Nate's curiosity is piqued.   Nate probably would have forgotten all about it if Devon had just kept his mouth shut.

Werewolves and vampires, huh?  Is this the game/movie Herschel Walker was blathering on about?  Fright Night or Freak Night or Some Kind of Night?

  6. ^^^@Skarzero, if they brought Heather back, they would have to explain where tf Paul is.  So I guess they just haven't figured out a good break-up story yet (Yay!  More off-camera exposition to come!).  But why does she have Lucy, who really needs to be in town if only to have someone call sexxxay Phyllis "Granny".  Lucy would be roughly Johnny's age, ready to get him and Conor into mondo trouble.  And the heat is starting to turn up on Sheila, so I'm assuming she'll be fleeing Los Angeles soon and heading to GC to obsess over her other grandchild.  (Please, gods, no!!!  I shouldn't put that out into the universe.  Just kill her once and for all, Finn/Steffy/Li/Anybody!)

  7. When Billy interrogated Lily about her meeting with Chelsea, didn't Lily give him an honest and accurate accounting of it?  Billy asked Chelsea why she was avoiding him even though he already knew the answer, trying to get her to put the blame on Lily.  What a dick move, looking for excuses to dump on Lily and using Chelsea to do it.  If I were struggling with depression and some morose gas bag showed up at my door with industrial popcorn and a dumb movie that would make me feel like I just wasted 97 minutes of the life I had recently considered ending, I would be super annoyed.  This is where the actor makes all the difference.  I know what they were going for, but this Billy just doesn't have the energy or charisma to pull that off.  Instead, it's coming across like Billy's obsession interest in Chelsea's recovery is more about validating himself than helping her.

I lIke that Chance and Adam have rekindled their unlikely friendship.  I hope it lasts beyond this one night.

  8. I couldn't follow Sally's rationalizations at all.  The initial break-up came out of nowhere and made no sense, so let's do it again, only make it even more stupider.  Am I supposed to feel sorry for Nick?  Hard pass, thanks anyway.  I can't feel bad for someone who keeps getting terrible haircuts at Adolf's Barber Academy.

Has Summer ever met Phyllis?  You can't have a quiet dinner with someone who doesn't understand the concept of using your indoor voice.  What was up with the tension and sniping between Nick and Phyllis?  When Phyllis paid back the money he loaned her for the Gap PacSun, it seemed like their relationship was on better terms.  Also out of left field was Jack embracing Diane twice.  Yes, she was in a tizzy and he was trying to calm her down, but he knows how she feels about him and he's insisted that his eyes are wide open where she's concerned.  Who could blame her for misinterpreting his signals?

Who sent Tucker the text about Jeremy being in town?

  9. Dominic was really taken with Tucker!  It was pretty cute when Tucker caught Dom's drool on his finger.  Gross, but cute.  And I fracking LOVED the look on Billy's face when Daniel was telling him all the truths.  Daniel was only wrong about one thing, though...Billy has changed.  When Daniel left GC, Billy was a fun-loving hot blonde guy with plenty of charm to spare.  Three Billy's later, he has devolved into an overcooked ramen noodle with a hero complex who drones on and on about how misunderstood he is.

  10. Aren't there specific educational requirements to be an interior designer?  I think they're a few steps from being architects, kind of like physicians assistants are almost-but-not-quite doctors.  But they have to know building codes and CAD and all that crap.  Did Sally mean interior decorator?  That would be kind of disappointing...everybody with HGTV thinks they're an interior decorator.

Billy needs a hobby.  Adam wants to check on his son's mother, but first he has to get the gatekeeper's approval?  Daniel needs to get that dumb game online tout-de-fucking-suite so Billy can save some other princess.  Meanwhile, Chelsea was trying to manipulate Lily into green-lighting unlimited access to Billy, but her face instantly cracked when Lily whipped out the phone book and reminded her there are other people she could call for support.  If either one of them had any sense, they'd be trying to unload him on the other.  I'm not a big Lily fan, but she has been pretty great recently.

**Note to @boes...Dear boesy, I cannot seem to get through your posts lately, because I literally can't see through the tears of laughter in my eyes.  I had to watch an ASPCA commercial just to compose myself enough to write this!  Yours, Snap

  11. Wow, Lily must have taken her smart pills today!  I kind of loved her letting the air out of Billy's pompous self-satisfied delusions.  The rude asshole texted Chelsea while Lily was in mid-sentence.  She should have gotten up and walked out right then.  Chance also showed remarkable restraint with Victor, who is sounding more and more like Jodie Foster's character in Nell each day.  They aren't going to waste Chance on Chelsea, are they?

I'm wagering that Sally's hot new business idea is...wait for it...an immersive video game experience platform extravaganza.  Because when it rains influencers/podcasters/COOs/video game designers, it pours influencers/podcasters/COOs/game designers.

  12. What's the big scandal about being offered immunity to cooperate with law enforcement in prosecuting a criminal?  I don't understand what Nikki and Phyllis expected Roseanne Rosannadanna to do with that information.

Can someone please tell me what Diane has done to Ashley that is more deplorable than what Tucker has done to her?

In addition to having an affair with Tucker, Diane found out that Abby had run him over and she used that to blackmail Victor and Ashley.  But Ashley has always had some disdain for Diane, going back to when she figured out that Jack was late to his own wedding to Patty because he had been with Diane.

I have never been that into video games, even as a kid, so I can't see where this is going.  Will Daniel's old addiction to online porn factor into this somehow?  It looked like there was something going on with him under the surface, and Lily kind of confirmed that.   Summer continues being stupid.  What kid Lucy's age wants to hang out with a kid Harrison's age?

  13. Did anyone else find it a little odd when Lily was talking about that trip to California as though it were some super fun vacay, considering that Daniel was traumatized thinking he had been responsible for Cassie's death and he was running from both the law and from murderous-rage-mode Nick?  Dru and Neil were ready to put out a contract on Daniel, yet she actually referred to it as "the good ol' days".  ???  She really did light up around him, though.  What a contrast between the look on her face during their conversation and the one she had when her undertaker boyfriend returned from his new vanity project as Chelsea's hand-holder.  Billy's hatred of Adam is beyond boring anymore.  He knows full well that Adam is devoted to Conor, so it's a real load of crap that he believes Adam would go out of his way to disappoint Conor on Thanksgiving.  But Billy just can't help himself thanks to his self-inflated hero delusions, so he thinks he has to solve problems that don't exist.

  14. Maybe an ignoramus like Nick would find Latin boring, but I freaking loved it.  It was one of my favorite subjects, and that had little to do with the mad crush I had on the professor.  Instead of learning crap like "Where is the museum?" or "My name is Jean-Luc, may I have the check, please?", you learn gems like "Carthage must be destroyed" and "He shall know no peace while he is alive".   I'll tell you what *is* boring, though...Nick making googooly eyes at Sally.  Somehow, the age difference between them is even more glaring (and gross) than the one between Sally and Jack.

I have to agree with Adam that a boy Conor's age is in no way emotionally mature enough to handle this, no matter how smart his mom thinks he is.

I don't care. I hate when characters sit around and tell us crap instead of the show showing it. It's a show! Show us the stories. They showed us Diane Jenkin's bullcrap story with that jackass Stark. And they had to put in effort to try to make Mulva look younger. Noah and Audra broke up less than a year ago, right? They'd look the same as they do now. This show sure as hell could have taped a few scenes of that bullcrap story. So how can they possibly expect anyone to care?

That's what drove me crazy with the dumb story about Amanda's grandfather (and everything about Amanda, really).  It was *all* exposition.  The trial was taking place in the present day, and we didn't even see the inside of a courtroom!

  16. Jill and Sally working together makes all kinds of sense.  Lily and Sally?  Uhh, no.  It's a safe bet that Jill will hire Sally to replace Billy/Nate, but I just can't envision Sally, Lily, and Devon in the same orbit.  Well, what do I know?  Maybe Sally will be The One who manages to pull out the sticks that have been firmly embedded up the asses of Lily and Devon since circa 2003.

  17. I'm struggling to remember what is Lauren's problem with Diane.  Does it go back to when she and Paul were married and Diane was with Andy?   I did like the analogy she gave to Phyllis, though.  Victor told Nikki to get over it, too!  Really, there are people I'm not too fond of in my town, yet I find it remarkably easy to avoid them.  However, we do have more than one coffee house and restaurant here.

Little cutie Dominic was mesmerized by something off stage.  He couldn't stop staring into the camera!

How does Tucker expect to get control of Jabot if it's privately held?  Did Jack overleverage the company with the Marchetti purchase?  If they lose Jabot for that reason, it will be all Summer's fault!  (But she'll probably blame Sally somehow...)

It’s weird that they were acting like this was HFTF first fashion show/preview. The line has been around for years and they would be doing these at least 2-3 times per year. This isn’t even Thomas’s first season as lead designer. I’m not understanding why this particular line was such a big deal. I can’t even comment on the over the top toasts at the party pushing Hope and Thomas together. So ridiculous. Brooke and Bill should have made Liam go over to Eric’s to do everything he can to make things up to his wife. She’s never going to listen to reason if she’s pissed at him.

Didn't Steffy scrap the line a couple of years ago?  FC was doing some belt-tightening and they could only afford to do either HFTF or Steffy's lingerie line.  Guess which one she chose.   So I think this showing marked HFTF's return.

Even Billy made sense! Lily was unnecessarily harsh with Billy IMO. "It's MY company and MY family," whoa girl! Wasn't it her initial suggestion that Billy go off to "find his bliss?" She seems angry with him now for doing something she suggested in the first place.

It drives me freaking crazy when the show has me defending Billy!  Not only did Lily suggest he leave CW and do something that makes him happy, but she had to see that he wasn't all that enthused to take the position in the first place.  Just like she did with Devon, she was persistent in twisting his arm, playing on his sentiments until he gave in to what she wanted.   Yes, he's an adult and should have kept his resolve, but spoiled princesses have a certain way at wearing people down.  Then, when things don't work out the way they envisioned, they get that "fine whatever talk to the hand" attitude.  I also don't understand why she was so annoyed that Billy talked to Nate in an attempt to get everyone to make peace.  He's not forcing anyone to accept the truce, but there's no harm in trying.  So shut up Lily!

That was a pretty great make-up job on Conor.  I hope the rest of the costumes are just as good.

  20. I don't normally comment on the hair, but the three liters of shellac that Nikki had in hers today made her look like the creature from Alien.  If faking you death and living under an assumed identity with a fake social security number for more than a decade are illegal actions, why do the Sanderson Sisters need to go through all of these convoluted machinations to get rid of Diane?  Just call the cops and turn her in.  Easy Peasy!  That said, I don't really understand the big deal about being un unwitting mule for a money-launderer.  She was initially the victim of a con-man.  Diane should have come clean about that from the beginning.

I guess Chance is looking for excuses to have a fling with Cuckoo Chelsea.  Yawn.  It was interesting to hear Devon admit that the only reason he caved and agreed to the merger was because Lily kept badgering him and Amanda (Lily's employee!) nudged him in that direction.  Foolish move, Devon...always listen to your gut.  And never trust Lily.  Not that Lily is dishonest, she's just as stupid as the day is long.
