Plus...are they just gonna drop the whole SL of Ally being mentally unstable, in order to pair her up with Oliver? What a mess they're making of this...  Oh yeah, and Oliver needs to shave already. I love stubble on almost any guy, but not him. He's just too "pretty" for it, in the Rob Lowe kind of way. Oliver used to be my favorite guy on the show, but I think they should have let him go, long before he was desperately macking on the likes of Maya and Ally.

Ally did seem stable yesterday, more like she was when she was first introduced.  So, is she bipolar?  Can we get a diagnosis, or some kind of explanation, please?

They should send Oliver to Y&R.  That show is desperate for a good-looking guy his age.  On a shallow note, I kind of like the scruff on him.  The hair is so much better now than that Bieber-shag he had in the flashbacks!

  2. AMC ran the entire season over the weekend.  I never binge watch, but I did happen to see the first 10 minutes or so of the first episode, and there was Carol in the prison yard, grilling and handing plates of food to people.  It was a nice bookend to Mary in this episode.

Then I started thinking about all of the food we've seen people eat this second half of the season:  a giant can of chocolate pudding, crazy cheese, pigs' feet and peanut butter, candy bars, pecans, rabbits.  Rick and Michonne said that food is all they ever talk about anymore.

To me, the flashbacks with Herschel brought this episode together.  It reminded me of Carl resenting Rick for becoming a farmer, but Herschel knew food was one of the keys to survival and he was absolutely right to convince Rick to start farming.  But they also should never have let their guard down.  In many ways, the prison really was what Terminus falsely advertised itself to be.

And the brutal scene with Joe's gang really set it all up nicely.  Gareth and company seemed so milquetoast compared to them, but talk about monsters...This was a great ending to the season.

  3. Holy frackballs.  That was exhausting.  Love primal Rick!  Love badass-yet-still-maternal Michonne!  And Daryl is back in the fold.  Please let Carol, Tyreese, and Judith be ok.  And Beth, too.  I can't believe I care, but I do!

So hipsters run Terminus.  You've probably never heard of it.

There were soooo many commercials.  And it's way too long to wait until October.  This show should think about going on trimesters.

  4. I prefer Bill being with Quinn, mostly because he's the jerk he is with her, and she seems to be fine with that.  When he's with Brooke, he just seems drugged  and gushy to me as he gazes into her eyes.

Liam has been bringing the funny lately!  I liked him reminding Pam that you don't really need cable to hear British accents on tv.

Is Oliver still on the show.  If yes, can we at least get him in a floating head for eye skittles purposes?

RuntheTable, I really hope your pet emergency is resolved and that all is well.

  5. I'm not quoting it because it was very long, but amen to your every word of your post, Amberosia

I get uncomfortable whenever anyone shrieks about "values", so I hope they take Ally in a different direction soon because I do like the character.  I didn't like when Hope harped about her values, either, but at least they were her own values.

Quinn and Bill are a match made in freak heaven, and I'm really enjoying them together.  We all know Ridge and Brooke are end-game, so I was hoping Brooke would walk in on them today so we could just rush that along and not have to see Ridge and Katie anymore.

  6. Thanks to Aquarius for setting this up!  This Sagittarian is very grateful!

Now on to business...I am preferring Quinn's brand of crazy to Ally's brand of crazy.  Quinn can actually function in the world, where I think they're sending Ally to Sheila/Kathy Bates-in-Misery territory.  That sometimes works, but, too often, those kinds of villains obtain some kind of supernatural powers where everything magically and conveniently goes their way.  I get bored with that.  But it seems like Quinn is full of possibilities.  Ally is just creeping me out.

I live in a small town, so my doors are often unlocked.  But if I lived in LA, it would be a different story.  Why can people just waltz into all of these beautiful homes so easily?!?
