I just discovered this show. It’s great! So sad that there are only 2 seasons. I think it was ahead of its time. The show would have done well as a lead-in for or following Big Little Lies.

I loved this episode on South Korea! The friends were like Laverne and Shirley 🙂 I would love to know how she is liking her home and Korea.

This episode was really tiring. Let’s face it - none of these women (with the exception of Pinky and the Brain) are “friends.” Just look at the glee with which they talked about Michael being in legal trouble. These women are not your friends so stop telling them your business.

Very interesting twitter post on Meryl Streep’s look on “Big Little Lies.” Apparently Mary Louise looks like Pauline Kael, a famous NY Times movie reviewer that Streep disliked (or Kael disliked Streep) Janet Maslin (another prominent NYTimes movie reviewer) thinks Streep is channeling Kael. Thank you for saying this. There were elements in the first season that were hard to swallow - why is this second season being critiqued for presenting sometimes unrealistic interactions among extremely privileged and damaged people?

That did seem somewhat ... not credible.

So I guess there won't be a reunion show. Disappointing... but maybe this keeps the show "classy"? Meaning, this is not a Housewives show.

I do like the fact that this is such a diverse cast, including having a transwoman play a transwoman. Most people just pay lip service to "diversity."

I’m embarrassed to admit that I didn’t know Jules was trans until I read a review. I saw the bulge in her panty but thought it was just the tv screen or something. I thought the injections were some kind of drug to get high. Does any one know if the actress who plays Jules is really trans? She’s good.

Saw it, still thinking about it. Zendaya’s great. Not sure if I will keep watching though - lots of triggers for me...

I hope HBO just goes ahead and puts these lines on a t-shirt or mug, for sale. It could be the show’s version of “Winter is coming” (GoT). I’d love to see more of Renata’s backstory. I bet she was a “bully” when she was a little girl, just like Madeline.

Wow, this was a good episode. I love how Madeline and Mary Louise interact. My heart dropped when Ziggy told his Mom that Perry gave her salt, that he “salted” her.

I have not been a Hester fan during the season... but I LOVED her runway show. For some reason, seeing her over-analyze everything and her quirkiness sort of endeared her to me. Plus, her designs really reflected her. As Bishme said, "she's not afraid to show people who she is."

Does anyone know if there will be a reunion show?
