  1. So that's what Kevin was up to when he told Holt he was going to France. (Sorry non watchers of Brooklyn Nine Nine.) Janet continuing to repeat that she wasn't a woman was hilarious. As was Jason's abysmal failure of the good person test.
  2. I think there's something to this, that everyone has things to work through: Chidi's indecisiveness, Tahani's feelings of inadequacy, Eleanor and Jason just being sort of garbage people (who I very much love.)
  3. Not enough Michael in this episode, but his growing exasperation with Chidi was hilarious. His delivery on "Retroactively?!" was so good. As were Eleanor and Tahani's objections during during Jason and Janet's wedding. I was prepared to be a little cranky that everyone was wasting time while fake Eleanor's future hangs in the balance, but everything ended up being so delightful that I didn't care. If Eleanor just end up damned for eternity, I'm sure she would have wanted to see that wedding before she goes. Also, I adored Bambadjan. Can we keep him around, please?
  4. The best thing about this episode is absolutely the gif of the entire squad cheering in the cold open. Every time I look at it, it puts a big goofy smile on my face. Subpar episode. Amazing gif.
  5. That may have been the worst Gina has ever been. Typically I tolerate her, and occasionally she makes me laugh, but taking pride in being included in her kindergarten teacher's suicide note? And then all of the stuff with the space heaters... We've seen that Scully and Hitchcock can do good work, so I can sort of understand why they still have a job, but Gina seems to do nothing but make everyone else's lives miserable on a pretty regular basis. Loved pretty much everything about the rest of the episode. Holt naming all of the NYT reporters was hilarious.
  6. Seeing Bob actually win something, even if it was by default, was so satisfying.
  7. I didn't realize that Erin was the first person ever to sew/glue sparkly shit on fabric and that she's the only person EVER allowed to do so. My mom has a lot of explaining to do about the bedazzled, puff-painted sweatshirts I rocked as a kid. Laurence should have won, no question. That dress was gorgeous and impeccably constructed. I was drooling over it.
  8. That was a fantastic show. The inclusiveness of the plays showcased and rewarded was just beautiful, and, when there's so much ugliness in the world, it makes my heart happy to see a person like Lin Manuel Miranda recognized for his genius.
  9. Lin's speech was so beautiful. I'm still sniffling.
  10. That was sort of shocking how poorly he did. Did he only get one answer right? Nathan (I think that was the math professor's name) seemed very nice but his nerves made me nervous. The challenger who knocked him out, however, and looked at his board and said, "I know everything about all of these topics" made me laugh a lot harder than I should have.
  11. The new host and only five seconds to answer make this show SO much more watchable.
  12. Carrie Ann's constant tears on the show are irritating, but, damn it, she got me to tear up when she took the effort to learn how to sign a few sentences to Nyle. His reaction did me in. That was a really sweet, genuine moment. Peta's affection and admiration for him was affecting as well.
  13. I'm so glad we were treated to Paige, Alan, and Erin giggling like high schoolers about dating drama for a good three minutes that could have been used to let Wanya and Antonio say good-bye.
  14. That was...the most intense secondhand embarrassment I've experienced in some time. Can someone help me identify who Hyde's accent is reminding me of?
  15. I was convinced the first time I watched that scene that Regina was going to show up mid embrace and lose it when she saw them. I couldn't really enjoy that scene until I watched it again knowing that they weren't going to be interrupted.
  16. Considering Regina blamed Snow for Daniel's death instead of blaming Cora--you know, Daniel's actual murderer--things don't look great for Emma. Or for my sanity while watching the fallout from Robin's death next week.
  17. Is every baby in Storybrooke named after a dude that just died? That wimpy Zeus was definitely wimpy Hercules' father. And the timing of the Emma and Hook reunion was awful, but I'll take it. Just let Emma be happy for a little bit, please writers.
  18. I don't understand how Bruno does that twice to Nyle. I don't remember them messing up with the scoring at all in the past. There's something fishy there.
  19. Yes, Killian. True love is totally rare and special. Like when Zelena's TLK restarted Hades' heart seven minutes earlier. Or when Red's TLK saved Dorothy after they knew each other for a few hours.
  20. I've watched every season of All-Stars, but I hadn't realized how much of a sausage fest the winner's circle was until the workroom was filled with a bunch of dudes and Dom. And I'm torn between being upset because, if you're going to bring Dmitry back, I demand more Dmitry screen time to just being glad to see him at all. As soon as it was 9:04 and the episode was still on, I knew we were getting a sew-off. The set-up was so contrived, and the results were meh, but if it meant finally being rid of Sam, bless that sew-off.
  21. Those talking heads always reek of producer manipulation, especially when the producer is sitting off camera talking and asking questions. If Nyle really said that he was better than all of the other male contestants, that's definitely an arrogance problem. If he said he wants to be as good as Val, well, that's unattainable, but also it makes sense that he'd be looking to the pros for dance role models. And Nyle IS a good dancer. It's sort of absurd everyone's supposed to feign modesty and be all self-deprecating (especially when it comes to women on this show).
  22. If this show allows frickin' CORA to cross over into the light while leaving Milah and Auntie Em to remain in the river of lost souls, I'm going to enact my own dark curse.
  23. Putting this in the right thread: What is this fuckery? Don't pull out paddles and then take those scores away. That's just cruel to Nyle. Remind the judges of how scoring works, but honor the scores Nyle saw. Also, don't punish the contestants if their pros can't choreograph a dance correctly. Hire better pros. Moral of the story: don't punish people for other people's mistakes.
  24. I hated Sam's jumpsuit. It looked poorly made. They're just keeping him around for the drama, and I'm sick of his smug talking heads. Also, these designers have experienced summer before, right? Because it sure didn't seem like it tonight.
  25. You weren't imagining it, Valny. I missed Monday night, so I didn't see Nick's performance, but Christina definitely wasn't pleased tonight.
