Those ladies showed up with receipts and once confronted with them, that lying, sweaty pig of a man was rendered quite speechless. I dunno, I’m loving the ladies this season. They’re certainly not perfect, but each one of them have a right to be fed up, and I’m thrilled that they’re sticking together, refusing to let the manbaby frat shame and gaslight them.

Walking that distance without proper sun protection must have been miserable for those poor boys. I doubt they are used to that altitude, so the thinner air and harsher sun must have been even more punishing than expected. Jilly really needs a proper skin care regimen. I have no misunderstanding on how apparel design works. It’s what I do. The drab colors aren’t the problem, it’s the lack of cohesion. I doubt this line was design with aqua aerobics in mind. I stood up for Dorit wrt her design notebook, but the end result of this line is a mess. Blegh, I don’t care anymore. Dorits not worth it lol.

That’s what it looks like to me, too. I believe she does have some knowledge and skills with apparel design, as seen from her older shows, but it appears that she just rushed to slop together this slap-dash collection so it could be featured on the show. These suits are poorly designed and the patterns are bad. Stupid Dorit, you can do better. Well, in this case, I can’t wait for the runway show episode, it’s going to be hilarious! Oh, and she’s a bitch so it’ll be even more delicious.

I’m really not comfortable with commenting on the appearance or in unattractiveness of underage children, who really don’t have the choice about being on the shows. Or at least, not the maturity to understand the scrutiny and repercussions of being on a reality TV show. They're all beautiful girls.

Erica, there ain’t nothing sexy or cute about getting in and out of vinyl/leather/pleather pants, not matter how much you and Mikey chant about lube and powder. Seriously, it feels like EJ’s character this episode was brought to us by the writers of “Friends” PIVOT!!!

I’m not trying to claim that her line is great, but that her efforts are much more authentic, based on what I’ve seen, than most other HW’s. Of course they should be fitted to the specific model for the runway show, that’s not the stage they were at. It is not required that a suit be tailored to a specific model in order to walk, But it is preferable. The entire thing doesn’t need to be recut just to deepen the neckline, but even if it did, these pieces shown were likely just working samples. The whole point of that meeting seemed to be to make these adjustments so that changes can be made, patterns redrawn, etc. I can’t stand Dorit, and I’m not overly impressed with Beverly Beach, but I do appreciate that she clearly has studied and developed some skills/knowledge in fashion, mediocre as it may be.

Well if her previous shows were as slap-dash as it appears this one is shaping up to be, I imagine she had some issues. She also likely doesn’t have access to the highest quality runway walkers, which makes a difference. I found it funny she was concerned that the suit may ride up if the model is a really aggressive walker. Well, Dorit, tell the model not to walk like that, or don’t hire that particular girl for this show lol. by no means am I trying to claim that her line is top notch, not at all. It takes a lot of time and persistence to work it all out. But of all the ridiculous forays into fashion (er, “fashion” in most cases) that we’ve seen from various HW’s, Dorit’s actually does seem to have some legitimacy and authenticity. If only she could keep Peekay far away from the creative aspect.

I don’t think she’s joining the BHHW cast, is she? She’s playing Big Kathy in Kyles series. Though I agree on the point, regardless. Yuck. That’s a bit too much for me. I love Mena Suvari, I wonder who she is portraying...

I am certainly no fan of Dorit, and there is plenty...PLENTY...to shade her for. Her design notebook is definitely not one of them, IMO. I mean, it was clearly a staged scene to show her doing some of the actual work on the line, but most sketches and design notebooks like she was writing in do look like that. A big hodgepodge of illustrations, sketches, notes, croquis, CAD renderings, swatches, etc. Timeslines are always screwy on the show, but I’m fairly certain she’s past the design stage of the process by that point (though timeliness isn’t her strong suit, it seems). I actually really liked seeing that part, and her sketchbook was certainly more realistic than Sheree’s elaborate sketches lol. I do wonder if Beverly Beach gets a lot of returns. Bikinis cut like that....you’ve really got to try them on to get a realistic idea of how it’s going to fit. They are really unforgiving. i don’t know yet if I believe completely that all of her line is manufactured at that one place in L.A...might have to dig a little. I don’t see it at all...

I’m really put off by the way so many of the contestants this year are ranting and complaining about editing on SM post-show. This is one of the least bookable casts (IMO) this show has ever had, but they’re coming off so entitled and bratty. It’s a reality show, and this is really looking bad for them. Does it seem to anyone else like maybe a lot of them really don’t even care much about being on the show, compared to older cycles? I’m starting to wonder if many are more interested in just getting more followers, rather than actually trying to become real models. Although, I feel the shoots and judging/critiques aren’t exactly stellar anymore, either. Hmm.

I was trying to figure out that accent/affect Erika was using during the GC interview. It seemed to come out of nowhere, I don’t think I’ve heard her speak that way before. It was very bizarre and actually off-putting, bordering on offensive IMO.

This is a very, very different impression of the Guadalajara locals than I got in my own experience. I don’t doubt that there are plenty of conservative, if not polished and educated professionals of varying leanings regarding beliefs. However, I actually cackled a bit when I first saw that they were headed there for this mission...based on the experiences I’ve had there. Whoever it was upthread that referred to it as GuadalaHolla....yes, that’s what we called it too heh! Also, I don’t see anything lewd about the way these students are dressed. I’m not sure why they’d be characterized that way. They look normal, just not Duggar-Fundy.

I'm mostly interested in this Brett/Daya and Danielle/Mohammed, simply because they seem sooo mismatched and like a train wreck waiting to happen. But i really keep wracking my brains for why Justin doesn't want to talk to his family about Evelin. All I can come up with is that perhaps they are racist? I know that is a terrible assumption to make but, it's all I can think of....
