What was she watching??
-
It seems like the reason this town is the focus of the "resurrections" is that it is a hotbed of morally screwed up idiots.
-
I was annoyed that only NOW are they asking Hook about the missing year. Did they even bother to ask him about who the Wicked Witch was? As far as him making Black Beard walk the plank instead of finding Ariel's prince, I blame Ariel. She didn't give him a chance to make his own decision so he could save face in front of his new crew.

I doubt that she is Jason's mother, since it's pointing to the fact that she must die and/or she doesn't stay with Alex. After watching this 15 minute cartoon, heh... ...I'm inclined to agree.

I posted something similar elsewhere but decided this was sort of explained last episode when Kelly was expositing about the potential for "great good," that is, they want to have the option of having Diana's powers at their disposal. Or maybe the blood thing doesn't work for a half hexenbiest.

S07.E20: The Relationship Diremption
shapeshifter replied to halgia's topic in The Big Bang Theory [V]
I would have liked Howard to say something like, "I realize it's a little late, but can I reimburse you for your deposit now?" to which she would reply with "that's all water under the bridge now," which Bernadette or someone would follow with remarks that emphasized the obvious metaphors in that line. You know, like, "Actually, I bet it's still not water even if it has gone through the sewage treatment plant" or something more clever. Although I was more annoyed than surprised that my ex didn't know to turn off the water to the toilet when this happened to him, shouldn't Howard know? -
My understanding* is that Escher ostensibly hired her to become Alec's fake girlfriend so she could get the tech from him, but when she fell in love with him, she didn't want to work for Escher anymore, but Escher wouldn't let her out. I'm guessing Emily perceived Escher as a powerful man who did not have her or Alec's best interests at heart, who would hunt her and Alec to the ends of the earth--or something like that. This info from the Syfy linked Wikia (continuum.wikia.com/wiki/Escher) should be cannon: I hope in the next episode or two they do a DNA analysis of Emily to determine if she is Jason's mother.

Did they? I thought Keira helped her escape. That makes sense to me. Digital media can be edited to align with the will of the ruling party. Print media stays the same, reflecting the thoughts and ideas of the author and society of the time.

Yes, thank you, writers! I have always hated the hexenbiest woge. Why did they have to make it so hideous? I'm okay with the snakes and werewolves and whatnot, but I'm with Nick on this one. Well, I'd probably be happy to be with DG on anything. But I'd be happy to never see that CGI again.

Claire Coffee's wailing was too real. :(

So Collin (Tommy from Arrow) Donnell gets killed off again. And Carrie makes a promise that no one can ever make: That a child will have a happy, normal life. Even I, with my very poor memory, would have recognized that "Ladies" truck. Is it just me, or are they taming down her ability to have total recall? Oh. Right. It just me here. *sigh*

Renard minus baby = super sad.For a minute in the limo I thought Nick was going to put a drop of his blood in the baby's mouth to de-beast her so she could live happily ever after.

Can't think of anything clever for a thread title at the moment--probably because the last episode aired back on freakin' October 2nd. Anyway the vague "Summer 2014" return date is now the slightly more specific July: http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/tv/showtracker/la-et-st-fx-upfronts-americans-renewal-louie-fxx-simpsons-app-marathon-20140409,0,1505579.story#axzz2ycHCyf3W

Thanks. About... ...yes, and it did bother a bit, but given that he was just a stand in for Philip Seymour Hoffman, and given that JLM convinced me that he was sincerely effected by the loss of Alistair in the way a close friend of PSH would have been, I forgive. Also, about I'm pretty sure she wore two different black and white print dresses, although I don't recall when the change took place. Anyone want to check?

From TV Guide: Not entering an air date because there are 2 of them. So meta.

All of this. Also, is it possible she killed herself because Tom would never get a pastorate in their small hick town if he had a pregnant girlfriend? The timing seems about right for him to have been planning his life's work/calling. I'm guessing that since Elaine gave up the money and said she doesn't want it, Caleb will be a serial returner and bank robber. The second chance does not seem to come with free will. I don't know what's missing from this show (besides a better time slot) but it's too bad, because they do seem to have the germ of an original and intriguing premise.

Although they had me at the H!ITG!, even if he hadn't been a famous villain actor, it seemed a little too obvious to the viewer before either Sherlock or Joan figured it out, and, on this show, that seems wrong. This plot was surprisingly good. It was more than just a ripped from the headlines or tribute story. I thought they did a beautiful job of showing what happened and its effect on real people. Is this show too fluffy for JLM to get at least an Emmy nod?
-
So they play house two episodes in a row? I see where this is going...

That's what I saw too. And I knew Clarke's mom wasn't going crash the teens only party. Unless they lighten up a bit, I'm done. Production values and scifi are not enough to make me watch if it's just a mirror for the grimmest aspects of my own life. That's why I quit Revolution. Isn't banishment in that environment just a crueler way to die than hanging? Sheesh. Where's Rodney "Can't we all just get along?" King when you need him? ETA: It's up on the CW now.

Thanks maraleia. So. *shapeshifter consults TitanTV app that doesn't allow grid by channel* It's the same time as new episodes of The Good Wife, Believe, and Resurrection. Hrmph. And I can only record one other show while I watch, and The Mentalist is on at 9, and I have to get up early Monday. I'll either wait till it goes online at the CW, or, you know.... Oh. Also on at 8 on Sunday in Chicago on WGN DT3: Stargate SG1 "Fair Game": Likely better than all of the above, IIRC.

S03.E16: It's Not Easy Being Green
shapeshifter replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Once Upon A Time
Wow. They could get the Emmy for Show Bible Consistency. But was it just a happy accident in the writing room? Because this is like the mother of Not!PlotHoles. And you guys are way better at remembering this show than I am. My mind went to: Does this mean he is her father? -
It's being preempted in Chicagoland by sports, and zap2it.com's tv listings imploded this week, so I can't tell when it will air. Anyone else know? Or, I can just get it from CW.com.

Replying in the Adalind Schade thread.

It's a shame they initially made her an evil caricature, because Claire Coffee has so much range. Too bad they didn't give her amnesia and reboot her into a friend of the Scooby gang. They could be making wise cracks about stuff she did when she used to be evil. The could still redeem her, but she would almost have to simultaneously save the lives of Bud, Rosalee, and Juliette.
