  1. I could not get over Cary and Marie's eyes!  Cary can't fully close her right eye(I actually slo-mo'd both of them) and Marie can't close either of her eyes!  Who chooses to do that to themselves???  It would really scare me to know that I couldn't close my eyes all the way to lubricate them.  Jeeeezus what some women will do for beauty.

Tiffany's entire face is immovable and scary looking. Someone mentioned above that she needs the mole removed above her eye and I totally agree.  She also needs to stop parting her hair right down the middle. Pick a side Tiff, it would soften your face.

I still can't stand Cary and Mark and I do not understand why he had a seat on the couch with all the women...oh wait, he acts so much like a woman that he does belong there.  All except, Brandi and Stephanie need to work on there tear production.  Maybe the reason why Cary was dry crying is because she has no moisture in those poor eyes.  Either way, her crying was fakeity fake.

Me neither, LilaFowler! Glad I'm not the only one. It's not that I have uppity tastes - I grew up on 1970s potluck fare like tuna noodle casserole and jello salads - but I think it's a regional thing. I too live in New England. And the first time I've heard of "walking taco" was when I saw the Lunchables version recently. That said, I would definitely eat Frito pie if someone offered it to me.

(I can't think of any county/state fair food that's probably unique to New England, although we do seem very fond of loaded baked potatoes.)

Native Texan here and yes Frito pie is a food that is found not only at the state fair but when I was a teen in the 80's it was a choice at our snack bar for lunch or at football games on Friday night. I've had it in the bag and in those state fair bowls, too. The corn dogs here at our state fair are called Fletcher's and they are a damn good reason to go to the State Fair of Texas.  Although I don't eat this type of food very often, it is soooo delicious to have from time to time. BTW, Texas chili does NOT have beans!

I loved the reaction shot of the Roberto Cavalli guy as he was forced to watch Cary present her husband with his anniversary card. Is my work done here? I hope the Deubers are generous at Christmas with everyone who's got to endure their schmoopy scenes.

Awesome shout out to Seinfeld! They are a schmoopy couple!

To add to the list of things Cary needs to stop doing, she needs to stop with the exaggerated-Texas-accent-that-isn't-even-really-a-Texas-accent when she doesn't like something.  "First, you get you some Freeee-TOHS..."  Shut up.

Yep, that pissed me off, too.  "I  ain't from these parts" where the hell is she from if she isn't from Texas?

How is LeeAnne making her living in Society when she has such poor social skills?  I felt for Stephanie at that lunch, when she was darting her eyes around, trying to stay engaged as LeeAnne masturbated to her own life story.

I noticed Stephanie darts her eyes all the time. It seems like a weird tic or something.  "Bless her heart", she's not the brightest bulb in the Christmas tree but I think she is harmless.

Is she really a big deal in Dallas? I'm hoping someone from Dallas can weigh in. It'd be interesting to know if she comes by her brashness and idiosyncracies honestly, or if they're put on. From the way LeeAnne carried on about society women, I was surprised that she'd hang with a woman dressed like an extra from a Run-DMC video (well, the Weird Al version of a Run-DMC video).

No she is not a big deal in the REAL Dallas high society.  I have some relatives that are true Texas society(old money) and you would never know it by meeting them and they would never be seen on such an awful show or any show about high society.  I have an aunt, by marriage, that is high society in San Antonio and Houston and she is the kindest, sweetest elderly lady you would ever meet.  I know she gives to a lot of charities but it is certainly anonymously.  My uncle died several years ago and she loves giving to others without expecting anything in return.

Real old money folks do not want you to know they have money and live very modestly.

  7. I don't think Mark wants to do Cary up or even do Cary, I think he wants to be Cary, like wear her like a beautiful Chanel coat.  Dude is too creepy for words and Cary is just not into him but is way into his money and status.  When they were in the OR with the other nurses it was cringe-worthy and I would have called sexual harassment on them if I was one of the nurses. UN-COM-FOR-TABLE! I also hate hearing every other word out of their mouths,"Babe", "Baby" "I love you" "I love you, too"  Geeezus! Give it a rest!  Also, Mark's spending seems out of control, even if he is a plastic surgeon.  Money is all relative and he is spending massive amounts on just clothing and accessories alone, not good. They want to live part time in Switzerland (because Mark is Swiss-I'm Irish and I don't have a need to live in Ireland, but whatever---HUGE eye roll) and that will not be cheap, by any means. Cary has jokingly alluded to the outrageous spending but I assume this will turn into real resentment sooner or later.

Travis gives me a "Sleeping with the Enemy" vibe.  He's does not seem abusive but damn he is waaaay too controlling but then again, I am not a person that can be controlled by anyone and my husband(and my parents) can thoroughly attest to that. LOL

For me its Brandy's mom whose age I can't believe.  If Brandy is 36, and her mom had her at 16, the mom is 52.  I turn 50 later this year, don't look particularly young for my age, and I look a good 15 years younger than her.

The only thing I can think of, is that her mom has spent the past 40 years constantly in the sun, while drinking gallons of alcohol and smoking a pack a day.

NYCfree, I totally agree and just a shout out for a fellow '66er! My 50th is also later this year!

  9. So what would Maryum think if someone drew a depiction of muhammad?  I'm not religious at all so I don't get worried about offending anyone for religious reasons. Too much death and destruction has come from someone not liking someone else's god.

  10. I have not had time to read all the replies so forgive me if this is a repeat, but did anyone notice how Stephanie was slightly mouthing what Leanne was about to say to her when she was screaming in her face after the wine glass throw?  I watched it a couple of times and I am convinced that they set that scene up.  Of course, I think most of the scenes on reality shows are set up but this was quite evident.  Stephanie is not a good enough actor to pull off that scene.

I don't know what is going on with Brandi and her husband but that was a horrible scene to watch.  I do think that was real and her husband is a dickhead and just needs to leave the damn marriage if he is that unhappy.

OMG!!! Did anyone watch "Since the day I was born"? What the effin' Hell?  One abandoned baby is somewhat understandable for a scared and unready woman, but this lady is frickin' certifiable abandoning THREE babies.  No reason for her behavior.  Thank goodness each of those children were adopted and had loving families versus being in foster care.  I'm sure the birth mom feels guilty, but she had multiple opportunities to tell her first abandoned kid the truth once she was found.  I don't think I could be as forgiving as these 3 people. And how did she explain discarding 3 siblings to her 2 oldest sons?

I feel the exact same way.  She sucks as a human being.  It sickened me to see her act all pitiful about her poor heart.  I wonder if the son really did jump on board with his sisters? I would have felt the way he did when they all met her.  I was also curious about the two sons also.  So live in other states or towns and couldn't be there for serious heart surgery?  What's wrong with this picture???

I thought Isaiah's mom said she was 15 when she had him, but I could be wrong.  Isaiah has a different mom than his older brother.  They are actually half-brothers and have the same dad.

She said she was 13 when she had him which means it is very possible she was 12 when she conceived him!  She was just a baby!

I thought the same thing. It looks like a face/eye lift gone very, very, very awry. She looks like she's pushing 70, but then I did the math and almost fell out of my chair when I realized she's 51.

I swear I thought she was closer to my mothers age and not mine!  My mom is in her 70's and I am in my late 40's. Wow, just WOW!

  14. For any of the Dallas area locals, did you notice that the two guys that Leanne griped to were Dallas news men?  Ron Corning was the guy sitting at the table with the "outraged" man(rolling eyes) and Jody(can't remember his last name) was the other guy that she talked to before she went to sit down.  Jody used to be on, maybe, the Good Morning Texas or some morning show but I never see him on TV anymore but I recognized him right off the bat.  Did y'all recognize them?
