  1. I really enjoyed this episode.   While some of the criticism here is on target, it doesn't matter to me.  Chicago Fire is not a documentary.  It's a prime time fictional show for our entertainment and they succeeded.  I was entertained.

I don't understand how Denny's stays in business in a world where Waffle House and IHOP are options. Of course, I also don't understand how Applebee's stays in business when there are ANY other restaurants people can go to.

There isn't a Waffle House or a Denny's in my area but we do have an IHOP and an Applebees.  I haven't been to IHOP in years.  Last time I was there, I hated their coffee.  I don't go to Applebees often but I like it.

  3. The new Oscar Meyer hot dog commercial has to be the stupidest one I've seen in a long, long time.  It's the one where the mom holds up a hot dog on a fork and the little girl "grills" it with laser beams shooting out of her eyes.  Whoever thought of that as well as whoever approved it should be fired.

  4. This was the first episode I really enjoyed in quite a while. Most of them have just been OK but I liked this one a lot. It was great to see Joe and Jamie working together again, Eddie wasn't being a brat and people gave Erin a hard time. 😊

Baez adopting the baby was predictable. I'm not sure what to make of Henry's situation. There has to be a reason for it but other than him getting much worse, I don't know what it could be.

IMHO next season will be the last. I think it will end with Erin becoming DA, Henry's condition worsening, Frank deciding to retire, Jamie getting another promotion and Eddie getting pregnant. I'm not sure about Danny. I hope he finds someone to love. That would wrap it up nicely for me.

If you have seen the commercials for the Blue Bunny Twist Cones and have thought, "Those look good!" They are not good. They are beyond good. They are absolutely delicious for a store-bought ice cream cone. The ice cream tastes like it comes from an ice cream parlor and is not stale or bland. The sugar cone is crispy and just as good as the ice cream.

Thanks for the tip.   I don't buy it in the winter but it will be summer soon and I'll be buying ice cream regularly.

Really am getting to dislike Scola more and more. He comes off IMHO as smug and Mr. Know It All. Ever since he is with Tiffany she brings out the worst in him. Though I have no problem with her as others do. Really Stuart is becoming such a major league bleep.

I feel just the opposite.  I love Scola and enjoy the show so much more when he and Tiffany take the lead in the case of the week.  I'm tired of OA and Maggie.  They're certainly not the only agents in the NY office but it seemed that way.

  7. I don't watch Law & Order OC because there was too much Saint Olivia in the early episodes so I wasn't influenced by Dylan's performance as that character.  I thought he fit in nicely and did well with the new team.  I hope that continues.

And a competent detective would look at him and wonder "How did a guy who was fishing get bit on the head by a rattlesnake?"  But that would cause too many problems.

He could have been taking a nap near the river.

Eddie is so f-king annoying and the actress is still not likeable. Jamie’s first instinct to discipline Sgt. McNichols is correct. What if next time she has an altercation in public, with a civilian then it goes viral? Send her to counselling Jamie, stop listening to your nosy wife! 😤

I used to like Eddie but not anymore.

They need to get her transferred. Jamie is my favorite character and she shouldn't be working with him.

Whined, complained, or simply told him.  Semantics.
In the latest season, she told Rip the kid didn’t do everything she wanted, so Rip told him off.  Sorry if you can’t see how she uses men to get her way.

    I can.

    Beth uses everyone.

You don't know she told John that Jamie hit her.

Carter didn't do what he was told.

Necropost, but she whined to daddy after Jamie hit her in season one.  John then threatened his adopted son.

And you assumed Beth whined to Daddy.

    We don't know that either.

Beth is a lot of things but a whiner isn't one of them.

So that covers Garrett, who is not a police officer. Does that mean that Sid & Baker had to resign from the force? Abigail is still referred to as detective, but is Gormley no longer a PO?

Sid and Baker are still active members of the NYPD.  Neither one of them is a commissioner or deputy commissioner.  I don't know what title Gromley is working under now but originally Frank proposed he become "Special Assistant to the Commissioner."  I'm assuming Baker has an assistant title as well.

No she didn't.  We never saw her tell John anything and John never said she told him.

He figured out what happened because they were both at home and both came back from the barn with bruises.

  14. I haven't seen the "becoming your parents" commercial in the movie theater.  I normally enjoy those commercials so I don't expect to not like that one.   I've never experienced the audience clap after a movie but I haven't been to one in a long, long time.   The only movies I ever went to see are the really big ones so if clapping was common, those would have deserved it.

I found the answer to that question on this website.  It looks like we might be done with them by the end of this month.

I feel your pain, I hate them too, especially the ones with Joe Namath and Jimmy Walker.

    This is the explanation:

Thanks for posting that explanation.  I hate those commercials soooo much!

AND the ads stress "If you moved or lost your insurance..." - with that in mind, I think we'll be seeing them a lot longer.

I hope not!   They're on way too much.  Considering how much money they're spending on advertising., they must be making a fortune.

Hmm - perhaps the oyster fork was for Rocky Mountain Oysters.

Beth actually said "oyster spoon."  I never heard of an oyster spoon but like you, I know there are oyster forks.

Maybe oyster spoons exist and I never ran across one even though I live on Long Island and not far from Oyster Bay LOL  Then again, maybe whoever wrote those lines never ate oysters.

I wouldn't have from his appearance, but I knew him instantly from his voice.

Same here!  I'm not really interested in Jimmy's Texas storyline so I wasn't even watching at the time.  As soon as I heard his voice I looked up because I wanted to be sure it was him.

The season finale is not next week, they are taking a two week break and are back on April 6th.

Thank you.  I was really annoyed at the thought of the season ending in March.

Next week is the season finale.  She’ll visit Casey for a few months and be back for next season like nothing changed.

The season finale is next week?  It's March.  That's crazy!

Anyone else remember when shows started in September and ran through to May?  I do but I'm older than dirt.

Taylor Sheridan & friends bought the actual 6666 ranch within the last 2 years, so that may explain why he's developing a series about it. He needs to start earning back the $347 million his group paid for it.

I'm not sure the group that bought the 6666 are "Taylor's friends."  I read that they're a group of Chinese investors.

  21. I'm not as sure as some of you are that there will be a Stellaride wedding.   I just  don't see them as a married couple.   If I'm wrong and they do go through with the wedding, it's not going to last.  Stella doesn't really want to be married.  Her marriage to Grant was a nightmare and I don't think she wants to give up her independence.

I like Seager.  I'm not sure she's the woman for Severide but I like her a lot more than Stella.
