  1. I think this is the only way Luke and Susie are similar ... not wanting a person considering an engagement with them to be sleeping around. (In most other ways, Luke was a jerk.). In fact, if I remember correctly, he eventually said he could get past it whereas Susie did not. And some insight into male psychology, physical fidelity is often more important than words in expressing love, whereas it seems vitally important to these women.
  2. I love the religious stuff, because it shows the background and culture of who they are, good or bad. It also shows how often religion is abused by folks like Clayton. "My faith tells me everything happens for a reason." That was indeed scary and dark stuff by Clayton, and Susie should be thanking the heavens that she escaped that guy ... really the opposite of protecting someone's heart that you say you love. I mean, where do they get these morally empty people for this show.
  3. Lol, as much as it says about mine for posting here to begin with. I don't remember Luke P that well, but do remember him being somewhat of a moralizing jerk, so I'll give you that. My central point is that many people (men and women) when they think about being proposed to, don't want the person contemplating a proposal to be sleeping with other people at the same time ... and to express difficulty in getting over that (again man or woman) is not slut-shaming but just expressing one's feelings.
  4. I do appreciate the difference in saying you love someone. However, I do think that Luke was essentially saying the same thing as Susie, whereas it was interpreted as him questioning Hannah's character. And in Luke's case, he even said that they could get past it if they ended up together, which would make him appear as less of a slut-shamer than Susie if this prevents Susie from accepting a proposal or self-evicting.
  5. If I recall back to an earlier season, Hannah Brown accused some guy named Luke of slut-shaming when she slept with one of the other contestants. I remember coming on here and saying that Luke had every right not to want someone he might propose to, to be sleeping around with everybody, and many of you disagreed. By that logic, how is Susie not slut-shaming Clayton. For the record, I don't think she is. I think Susie in Clayton's season and Luke in Hannah's season were asking very logical questions central to love and trust.
  6. I think Alpha Daryl has a special kind of plot armor, called a spin-off.
  7. Again, there are no rules around those suits and radiation. They wear the suits all the time, but have no qualms about taking them off wherever they are. Plus, don't get me started on those bionic horses that seem resistant to radiation.
  8. I always thought it was a way to cut down on actors' salaries, having each actor only in 2 - 3 episodes each half season.
  9. Terrible episode. There were no rules established about how long they could be outside their suits. They started off locked up airtight and by the end of the episode, they and baby were spending what seemed like hours completely exposed to a radiated environment.
  10. Am I the only one that believes that the crops on the roof are not nearly enough to sustain all those people? Wouldn't they need floors and floors of greenhouses? Plus, I still don't know how that place has electricity and non-radiated water?
  11. In 2 seconds, you have thought through the scenarios much better than the writers.
  12. Ya, I didn't notice that but you're right. Just more weak writing breaking the 4th wall. Since the viewers have seen them, they don't need masks anymore.
  13. You said it. Just some group attacking others at random like the Saviors, but without the overwhelming numbers. They have to see that they would be much better off working with others instead of attacking them, right? I mean, bull-rushing into every battle without a strategy just continues to dwindle their numbers, right? What would be really interesting, and where I would give the writers credit, is if we found out that Maggie was to the Reapers what Negan was to Alexandria, and the Reapers are just trying to get vengeance on Maggie.
  14. That military base looked like it had a warehouse full of food. Why not clear the place of walkers and then set up a more efficient system to get ALL the food.
  15. Glenn will swoop in and catch her. Then Negan reveals he killed a robot version of Glenn, and all is well.
  16. It's like Scooby Doo and Shaggy. We don't know how they obtain full monster disguises, but they do.
  17. So they magically escaped, commandeered two guard outfits, and snuck out. WTF? How did that little bit of magic happen?
  18. What will Ryan's baby talk sound like towards DJ? "Who killed your mommy ... who killed your mommy ... I did ... I did" (in cloyingly baby talk voice).
  19. Lot's of strong actors here. Man, that woman who played Lori was top notch.
  20. Thanks. Basically, Erin has great-grandparents who are John and Billy's grandparents
  21. Why didn't Alicia escape with the rest of them? They all had the same path out. Oh ya, another plot device.
  22. MIssed the first 10 minutes. How did they stumble upon this group?
  23. OK, putting that hat on was one of the few great scenes I have seen on this show.
  24. Why the heck would they let her go, just to join up with one of her other camps to lead the army. I'm hoping she and Dakota are toast now with June in the room.
  25. Did they ever give the backstory of how Virginia gained all this power?
