  1. This episode was boring.
  2. I'm in, I thought it was very good. I liked the nods to modern small-town America, with everyone leaving and all the abandoned storefronts and the meth problem, etc. A bit darker than what I would expect from a Superman show, but good. The twins bore me, but I'm not the target audience there lol. The Clark/Lois relationship is, as always, delightful. The actors are both great and their chemistry is lovely. Overall, an A+ pilot.
  3. Not feeling some of this casting, TBH. But if the acting and chemistry is good enough then looks won't matter, so here's hoping they're spectacular.
  4. He's a little too pretty, IMO.
  5. I know it's not objectively a great show, but I have to say I'm genuinely enjoying this season for whatever reason. At the end of this episode I even found myself caring about the cliffhanger. Maybe the show's gotten a little better, or maybe it just grows on you. Like a fungus.
  6. This is why Jess/Paris is my crackship OTP.
  7. It was a daytime soap opera, I think. All My Children, if I'm not mistaken.
  8. I kept shouting at Joyce to just TELL BOB, but I realize why she couldn't. Loved seeing El with her mom, I'm hoping her mom can be saved though I doubt it'll happen. Is the Upside Down spread throughout the whole town now? Creepier and creepier.
  9. Ok, I will admit that this is a pretty good opening.
  10. I love that you've managed to summarize all of my complicated feelings about the show in only one paragraph. I still enjoy most of S1 & S2, plus bits and pieces afterward, but exposure to truly great TV over the past few years has me noticing the flaws in the shows I watch more and more. Gilmore Girls is, unfortunately, a deeply flawed show. One that I love, to be sure, but it makes rewatches harder than I'd like.
  11. Did anyone else start laughing and clapping when Chase said the crayon eater was dead? Because that was the best moment of the night, for me.
  12. Anatoly is my faaaave. Stay forever pls.
  13. Kovar and Chase are both so delightfully terrible. I haven't enjoyed bad guys this much since Slade.
  14. Has Chase watched too many SAW movies? Is Dolph Lundgren the handsomest evil character we've had so far? Yes and yes, IMO.
  15. I feel like I shouldn't be laughing here, but that wig is killing me and I can't help it.
  16. "The rest was me practicing." JESUS CHRIST, OLIVER.
  17. He's gonna kill her.
  18. Susan's getting fridged, isn't she? Ugh.
  19. I think I'm supposed to feel bad for Curtis here but Paul is totally right to divorce him.
  20. YOU ARE NOT BROKEN, THEA! WTF?
  21. What the hell were those shoes?! Vigilante, I am so confused by you.
  22. So, will Vigilante be revealed this episode as well? And will we get to keep Michael Dorn's voice? That's all I really care about, TBH.
  23. Winter fav, Summer least fav. I honestly think I preferred season 7 as a series capper. Best things: every Emily/Lorelai scene. Kirk and his pig. Sutton Foster singing. Star's Hollow being Star's Hollow. Worst things: most Rory scenes, the almost total ignoring of all S7 character growth and plot points, the weird character assassination of Logan, finding out that ASP's plan for Rory in S7 was actually kind of sad and clichéd. It fell a bit short, and I don't think I care what happens after. Emily and Lorelai's stories are wrapped up and Rory looks like she's heading for Anna Nardini territory, which I have no desire to watch.
  24. No, it's one of the ballerinas from ASP's other show Bunheads.
  25. Emily had some great moments, and it's always nice to see Star's Hollow. A downer episode that's a downer for all the right reasons. My favorite out of the revival, though that's not saying much.
