  1. Right on. I teach my littles "we don't comment on people's bodies." Like, at all. Internet snark on TV strangers excepted I guess😂 But really, IRL? Just don't. ETA excepted not accepted
  2. I think to "the kids these days" it's not that big of a deal to be trans or queer. I have a 23 year old stepdaughter and younger kids and they are all very blah about sexual orientation and gender identity. So it could be that it really isn't a big deal to Isabel, disclosed on IG or otherwise. What I find interesting is the discussion about telling her parents...why? Why on earth would parents need that info? I get it if they want to tell them, but it seemed like they felt they HAD to. To me it's like saying "hi mom, dad--this is my boyfriend Gabe. Just so you know, he had a vagina at one time."
  3. I'm also kinda surprised at the attitude towards tattoos in 2023. Maybe it's because of where I live, but its a total nonissue professionally (I'm a lawyer, and I have several that aren't readily visible but not covered up either -think ankle and shoulder- no one has ever said a word) and I certainly didn't think to cover them at my wedding with makeup! My husband is basically fully inked, with full sleeves. They are expensive, tasteful, and I think beautiful! If you have them, you like them, so I'm having trouble imagining why you would cover them to avoid OTHER people seeing them? However, I'm TOTALLY not above snarking on what I think are bad or unflattering tattoos, like Nicole's forearm piece--whatever it is, the placement is yikes.
  4. Can we talk about Clint's bizarre chest hair? Why on earth is this man shirtless on television? Bad wax job, or just a weird pattern? So many questions! I note that the other man wore tank tops in their talking heads like decent human beings. Clint just thinks he's way hotter than he is. Mac's mom is an uber BITCH. My god at least be polite. Shaq telling his wife that she WILL be going to Jackson, MS with him---that's a no from me dawg. Maybe profusely apologize for the conflict and ask her what she wants to do? And asking for a kiss when she's clearly not feeling it...This guy can't read a room.
  5. This was really my main takeaway from the episode. Everything else was so boring I can't remember it.
  6. OMG yeah. Like girl, yes, love yourself--but like, internally 😂 Not that Mitch wasn't an ass. He was. He's an idiot and will never get a date in this town again.
  7. Not so sure about that...he seems pretty freaky lol. Could be bi or pan...I noticed he didn't outright deny anything (either being gay or hitting on him!) Either way, I liked how he took the high road there.
  8. OMG I totally said this to my hubs...if he just treated her like garbage and acted like he didn't give a shit, she would be all over that. She's a mess and so is he!
  9. I got the impression that his friends are well aware of how shitty he is at relationships😂 I think you're right on that he said ILY too fast when he was all horny, and he's regretting that now that he's realized he can't stand her and he's gonna look bad. And I forgot to mention the poems...my GOD. Talk about read the room Miguel. Your poems are terrible and no one wants to hear them especially on a date FFS! "Oh hey listen here's a poem I wrote about ME!" Get the fuck outta here, you ain't Emily Dickinson.
  10. My take on Miguel and Lindy...he hates, absolutely HATES her. I can see it in his dead-eyed stare. But he doesn't want to be the "bad guy" so he's trying to play along until DD. He's cracking though, that's what we saw in this epi. I'm thinking the same with Krysten and Mitch, to a lesser degree....she's a no, but will be kind and play it out. Mitch is an absolute child, with zero emotional maturity and she's too good for him and knows it. Edited: Miguel and Lindy, not Mitch. They're both terrible 🤣
  11. Ed in the Wild Sighting: So I live in San Diego and saw Ed out at a restaurant in North Park a couple of weeks ago. He was surrounded by dudes and just being loud and had an attitude like, "I'm a big deal"... I'm pretty sure no one even glanced at him except the hubs and me.😂
  12. The name thing infuriates me! How is it in any way Miguel's decision? It's HER name. Sure, you can give your input but then STFU. Why would it even matter to Miguel, I don't get it. It is an antiquated custom, and if he just wants their names to be the same he can take hers.
  13. It's a total joke in San Diego that we have a flip flop wardrobe for every occasion :) My Rainbows are for the beach, my birks are for "fancy", my worn-out Rainbows are for the backyard, etc. I'm a lawyer and I'm wearing birks at the office right now. I even have a shearling pair for "winter." 😂 None of this to excuse anything Mitch does, he's an ass.
  14. Oh my god, Mitch is an ass. You can tell he's so insecure--about money, looks, relationship status, and his whole identity is wrapped up in his work because he has nothing else. Basically the worst kind of person. It's a huge red flag when people talk constantly about their integrity. If you had so much, you wouldn't need to talk about it (much like dick size--JUSTIN). Krysten has some issues but she didn't deserve this. I may change my mind if she brings up her broken engagement again though. Girl, you got cheated on once and you're 32*. She acts like she'd been through HELL AND BACK. Mkay. Miguel screams committment-phobe. He probably jumps right in and then finds fault. That's the vibe I got from his friends. He is cute and seems nice though. Lindy is gonna be the crazy one. Agree that Nate seems like a player and Stacia is much too good for him. "Day trader" around here is code for "lost all my money on dogecoin"! Her eyebrows going higher and higher hearing all about game night and sunset hiking lol I don't find him attractive at all. Stacia is pretty except for that forehead, whew. I just love Alexis. I'd be friends with her. She's funny and cute, and a very good sport it seems. I think Justin is quite immature and that will probably be an issue. Dang, this show sucked me back in. I do love seeing my local spots on tv ;)
  15. I'm so confused by this. It's 2 hours to LA or San Diego. Why they would choose JT is a mystery. It may be trendy, but there's very little out there other than Pioneertown, AirBnBs, some dusty shops and chain restaurants. I doubt they're really into the natural beauty. They could drive a little farther and have their "beach wedding", it's really cheap and easy to get a license and an officiant and stand on the beach (all our beaches are public in CA). It must be strictly for the drama.
  16. Local here. We get the best, freshest tuna for very cheap! It's a total perk of living in San Diego. I have absolutely nothing else to contribute because I was so bored I didn't make it all the way through. It is fun seeing the locations around town though. The weddings are at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, which is a surprisingly classy venue for this show.
  17. What on earth?? I couldn't find this LRW anywhere on anything I have (I'm in San Diego). I'm pissed! ETA: In case this helps anyone, I can watch them on the Lifetime app and/or via AppleTV, if I log in with my Direct TV account. Only with commercials though, which may be a deal breaker.
  18. I think what Mom Emily said was "we don't get many offers of help around here" and I 100% read this as subtle shade towards her daughter 😂 She needs to be told to shut the fuck up more often. I'm not sure why they're all so scared of her. I don't even think the baby is effective leverage because where would she go if she left? Who the fuck would have her?! She wins The Worst award this week, I think.
  19. Brother John is drunk and/or on something else, right? He's slurry, shaky, really aggressive, and makes little to no sense when he speaks. That, coupled with living off little brother and how protective Patrick is, makes me think major substance abuse issue. I was appalled at Mother Jibri, she needs to visit her own therapist and stop projecting her insecurities on Miona. Listen, Miona's no prize but she's not walking around nude. Mother Jibri jumps from pretending concern for her "experience" and how she'll be perceived as less intelligent (?) to straight up admitting that she doesn't want her husband looking at those young boobies. Then when Miona finally gives in to make it stop, conceding it's her home and she'll comply, although she's not happy about it--Mother Jibri accuses her of being FAKE?! It ain't a great advertisement for your therapy practice, ya psycho. Bilal--still die in a fire. Bini and Ari-- fast forward, don't care Mohamed--I still say potential murderer with that nightmarish voice. Yve breaks too many rules, he's gonna smother her with a pillow while whispering, sorry but I had to do this, it's isssssslam rulessssssss....
  20. I really really agree with this. Mr. GP says no, she's cold, but I think she's not. We've seen her tear up and be soft. I think MIKE thinks like my husband, so he's scared to approach her, and unless he straight up shows a ton of sexual interest, like he's really hot for her, she can't go there. She even said to her brother that if he expressed interest, it would make her more interested. She wants to be pursued in that way, and she's taking what is him trying to be respectful as a lack of interest. If I were her, I'd at least try it out! What have you go to lose girl? They're doomed, lol.
  21. The best part of the episode and possibly the season!!🤣
  22. I'm from Missouri with family in the KC area. Lees Summit is just an extremely bland, middle class, extremely white suburb of KC. It's not some wealthy upper class area. He is so full of shit.
  23. Kara and Guillermo: He's a darling. I don't know what he sees in her exactly, but he seems to have genuine feelings and a real relationship with her. She needs to not treat him like a child. He's young but 23 isn't, like, 17. Bilal: Die in a fire. I hope this man's entire life, livelihood and reputation are completely destroyed after this or there is no justice in the world. Yve: Honey, no. Your friends are a bit much but they are right. This is nuts. You're sweet and pretty, you can find someone real! Jibri: Our closet gay for the season. Maybe bi. I think he has a thing with the friend who doesn't like Miona. His whole airport thing was way too much AND sad and pathetic at the same time. And he's another liar/misleader. Emily and Kobe: I too get why she wanted one night alone, but agree that she should have told him BEFORE. She's pretty immature which does not bode well for them. Snickered at "it's not about her looks!" LOL! It's sweet how excited he was to see the baby. I hope they can work something out so he can at least stay near his son.
