  1. Scissor Hand Assault? Can someone please explain the defendant's math on this to me? She needed money, so the plaintiff was going to loan her some money, so the defendant suggested that she give him $600 so that he wouldn't have to give her any money????
  2. I guess, but the whole point of an affidavit is that the court accepts (unless proven otherwise) that the person swearing it is being truthful. Them being friends/colleagues doesn't in and of itself mean that they would be willing to perjure themselves for him. Plus, I'm not sure that setting up cameras in the home to secretly record someone would be admissible evidence in any court, since a person has a reasonable expectation of privacy in their own home. Again, it doesn't really matter, it just bothers me because I work in the legal field. I really want to see more Shannen. I was shocked, in the opening, at how much Gabrielle Carteris (in her Ohndrea wig) looks... pretty much exactly the same as she looked in the actual show.
  3. Not that it really matters, but why does Ian have to go so far out of his way to prove that his wife is cheating? 5 other people saw her doing it via accidental face time and could swear Affidavits about what they saw.
  4. Jesus, Mackenzie, if you're the one financially supporting the household and he's never around to do his part with the kids then kick his ass out of the house. What does he bring to the table? Looks like nothing. I'm baffled (except not really because I know they're dumb) that Tyler and Catelynn don't seem to understand that the thing they keep doing is the thing that's keeping them from having a relationship with Carly. Although at this point I actually do wonder whether Brandon and Teresa have scaled things back because Carly doesn't want to be exposed to Tyler and Catelynn's intensity over her. I do not understand Taylor's thought process at all. Why, at the point when the two younger kids are 7/8, would you want to go back to the infants and diapers stage? No thanks. But Maci really needs to advocate for herself if she doesn't want to give birth to another baby. She can't leave it to the doctor to try to convince Taylor for her. Cheyenne is boring as hell. Is this season going to address Amber's new DV charges?
  5. Good lord, the entitlement of the defendant in this case. Sure, just move a bunch of other people into the apartment that the Plaintiff is solely paying for after the Plaintiff has already told you that you need to leave to make room for her husband and their soon to be born child. If your mother and your sister need a place to live then find another place and move in with them there. There are at least 3 adults in that scenario (defendant, her husband, her mother). Figure it out.
  6. Why are they adding a new cast member 10 episodes into the season? And why do they keep tacking Teen Mom 3 cast members onto the other two series? If anyone cared about TM3 it would have lasted more than a season.
  7. I'll see your boring and add a pointless. I'm a huge Tarantino fan but I just didn't connect with this at all. I have no idea what, if anything, Tarantino is trying to express with this story and so many scenes just felt so... lifeless. Have to disagree (I'm assuming by "comical" you mean funny, rather than cartoonish in its excess; my apologies if I've got that wrong). Seeing just felt excessively brutal - although no more so than what the historical Manson family actually did to their victims (and maybe that's the point, idk).
  8. Luanne. You cannot sing. Someone saying that is not being "a hater." It's being honest. No one is going to that show because of the singing.
  9. Lol, "Luanne's friend" I really want the tea on what went down between the show and Barbara, who was clearly meant to be a housewife for the season and then retroactively downgraded to "friend of."
  10. I think that the problem with Bethenny is that when the show started she was the underdog so every time she hit out at someone, she was punching up. Now not only is she punching down, but she's also swanning around like it's her show that she's letting these other women participate in. It's not fun to watch someone power tripping like this with no consequences or comeuppance. Back in the day Bethenny was my favorite and I was so excited when she came back, but now I'd give my left arm to see Andy turn to her and say, "Could you shut the fuck up for five minutes so other people can talk?"
  11. The answer to that question is only ever "Yes."
  12. If the third word in your apology is "if" you aren't doing it right, Dorinda. There's no "if" once the other person has declared themselves injured by your words/actions. "I'm sorry that..." Take some damn ownership of it.
  13. God, Sonja, wipe the smug off your face. You are not entitled to an explanation about Tinsley's financial circumstances.
  14. Did Andy seriously just say "Stop mouthing off"??? Andy. There's no fucking show if these women aren't "mouthing off." What would you even talk about at the reunion if they weren't addressing/retaliating against the objectionable things they all say about each other?
  15. I wonder if Ramona is the kind of person who, once they tell a lie, it's like a switch is flipped in their brain and they genuinely convince themselves that the lie is the truth. Bethenny, who is constantly dialed up to 10, should not be criticizing anyone else for raising their voice.
  16. I was legitimately shocked when I looked at the time and realized that the first part was already over. We didn't even get anywhere!
  17. I think it'll go: Bethenny, Dorinda, Bethenny, Ramona, Bethenny, Luann, Bethenny, Sonja, Bethenny, Bethenny, Barbara, Bethenny, Dennis' Ghost, Bethenny, Tisnley, Bethenny.
  18. Can someone muzzle Bethenny so that other people can answer a damn question here and there without being interrupted?
  19. JFC: DORIT ADOPTED A RESCUE DOG AND THEN GAVE IT AWAY AND IT ENDED UP IN A SHELTER. She is very much the bad guy in that story, regardless of how it spun out from there. It started with Dorit. She is ground zero for that bullshit.
  20. Say what you will about Ken, but I've always liked how he's totally ride or die with LVP. What's the point of having a partner if they aren't going to have your back?
  21. It's rare to see someone run so completely out of fucks to give.
  22. I sincerely hope that the next time Dorinda brings up Scott, Tinsley yells "CLIP!" right in her face, hand motion and all. I mean, seriously, Scott is not so interesting that they needed to spend 30% of the season talking about him.
  23. Luann lives her show 24/7. How much "mental preparation" time does she need?
  24. I think this show has totally damaged their ability to actually grow as people and become functioning adults. The steady stream of MTV money gave them no reason to have ambition and try to better themselves (this is true of pretty much all the Teen Moms, of course, with the exception of Farrah who, for whatever else you can say about her, has always had hustle), and being on TV has given them a false sense of self-importance (again, this is true of pretty much all of them - when these shows finally come to a real, permanent end, I would be very interested in seeing a decade later "where are they now" to see how they coped without the show). But even more than that, I think the experience of the show has psychologically damaged Cate and Tyler (particularly Cate) in ways that might never be undone. If 16 and Pregnant had just been a one-off show, I think that they would have been fine. They would still have had to find a way to break out of the cycles of drug addiction and poverty that their families were stuck in, but I think that they would have found a way (albeit maybe not together, and that might have been for the best). But the show turning into an ongoing thing is probably the worst thing that could have happened to them. They put Carly up for adoption for a number of reasons, but one of them was certainly financial - they knew they couldn't provide for her in the way that she wanted her to be provided for. Yet here they are now with this MTV money, probably thinking that if they had known then what they know now (that the money truck was about to pull in) they wouldn't have gone the adoption route. I think at least some of their issues are a result of trying to grapple with the guilt and resentment and all the "what ifs" that flows from all that.
