I think there's a lot of confusion and misinformation regarding whether or not Lena Headey did her own nude scenes. Yes, I have also read that a body double was used, but not for all the scenes. The scene took 3 days to film and a body double was used for a lot of the shots, overhead, back and side. But I believe that Lena Headey did her own scenes when she walks forward towards the camera. All nude scenes are invariably broken down piece by piece and dissected to death, but Lena Headey has appeared nude in other movies and I don't see why she would object to it. So there you have it. Yes, there was a body double used at various points in the scene. All that’s left now is to find out just WHO the body double was and where the body double was used. That's if we even care, or think it matters in any way. 3 instances that I can tell a body double was used. First after her hair was cut a body double could have been used and then the scene showed her from above, sitting down with her head lowered, her face concealed. I think that was a body double. After that a shot from behind her, not showing her face. Basically any scene that didn't show her face but showed her naked could have been a body double. But when they stripped off her garment at the top of the stairs and she stood naked, I believe that was Lena Headey. If you watch closely, any scene that was shot from above, behind or far away could have easily been a body double. The full frontal shots at closer range I believe were her.

I'm pretty sure the ring was symbolic of her marriage to Hizdahr zo Loraq. A Khaleesi is traditionally supposed to live with the crones of the Dosh Khaleen shortly after her Khal dies. Since Daenerys failed to do so, they may be upset if they find out that she remarried, especially that she got married again to a nobleman of Meereen, Hizdahr zo Loraq.

I can see revenge already brewing in the eyes of Cersei as she enters the gates of the Red Keep. The High Keep warned her about not being truthful and there would be dire consequences. She acknowledge to him that she understood this. If she demands revenge to the sparrows I feel that Cersei will be captured and a far worse fate will be in store for her. Oh, I did chuckle a little bit when someone in the crowd yelled "brother-fucker"

The were carrying the crescent shaped spears. If Daenerys can convince the Dothraki clan to fight for her, the Masters of Meereen are in for a whole lot of trouble. I want to see Khal Drogo re-emerge and join Daenerys again.

Meryn Trant (formerly head of the Kings Guards for evil Joffrey) was savagely murdered, and rightly so. He deserved the worse death because of his sadism, especially to young girls. Who else was on her list of people to kill?

Bran Stark is the younger brother to Sansa and Arya. There is another brother younger than Bran, his name is Rickon. Bran Stark witnessed Cersei and Jamie having sex in a tower and he was pushed out and fell and got crippled. If it's any help to sort out all these characters, here's a map. I've referred to it many times since there's so many characters in this series. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/5b/60/d0/5b60d04756a69b816b8fcc0527635562.jpg

Now I had to edit because I watched the scene again and Cersei did acknowledge that she slept with Lancel

According to Daily Mail There's no doubt that stripping off on a movie set is embarrassing at the best of times, but even more so when that set is actually a bustling town. So when Lena Headey had to get naked for the her latest Game Of Thrones scenes in Croatia on Friday, it's no wonder producers threw all their resources at making sure it was a private affair. According to TMZ, bosses forked out a whopping $50,000 per day on the four-day shoot to make sure nobody got a sneak peek at the actress in her birthday suit as she filmed the 'walk of shame' scene. And according to the website, more than 200 security guards were drafted in to surround the set, and local shop owners were paid off and forced to leave the vicinity for the duration. Only four people were reportedly present for the full nude scene, and all were apparently required to sign confidentiality agreements, with a $250,000 fine for anyone who violated it.

Um.....oh yeah, Selyse Baratheon hung herself from a tree but really, who cared?
-
I read some time ago, before this segment was filmed that the filming took place in Croatia near some landmark which is also a Church. The original script said she would be naked inside the Church, but authorities did not allow that, they would only allow filming around the Church, but not inside. I hadn't heard that they used a body double and it sure didn't appear to be a body double.

I've kind of had enough of Jon Snow, so I hope the writers don't resurrect him
-
I just hope Sansa doesn't survive but with a broken back. Hodor is nowhere to be found to haul her around like he did with Bran and Theon is definitely too crazy in the head and weak to carry her on his back.

"they're not only merely dead, they're really most sincerely dead"
-
Sansa isn't the suicide type of woman. She's a Stark and they die standing up. I think they landed in a water filled moat.
-
Theon saved Sansa from the deadly arrow by throwing the evil miss-what's-her-name over the edge to her death. Could testicles really regenerate back in those mythical days? If so, Theon grew a set and now he and Sansa jumped and possibly landed in water. Don't most of those old castles have a moat filled with water surrounding them?

Wow much to be said, but for now.....

I hope Jill and Jessa aren't brainwashed into believing their mission in life isn't only to crank out babies every 16 months.
-
I'm wondering what the ramifications or compensations are for whoever is responsible for backing out of a legal contract. If TLC cancels the contract, they may have to reimburse Jill and Derick for 'X' amount of dollars. Unless there's a clause built into the contract that would protect TLC from being forced to make any monetary compensations for cancelling.

The Duggars have been shown to the public on television since 2008 and viewers watched for different reasons. Some believed they were genuine and were examples of the perfect family and respected and admired them. Some were disbelievers and watched guardedly, they were skeptical and curious as to the genuineness of the Duggars.. People studied the Duggars carefully expecting to see cracks appear because they were just 'too good to be believed'. It never happened, the cracks didn't appear, the show ran for 7 years. The Duggars made many people question themselves, if only briefly. "The Duggars are so religious, such great parents, could we be wrong by mainstreaming our children's education? Could we be wrong talking openly and honestly to our kids about sex and sexuality? Could we be wrong expecting our children to marry whomever they loved and have as many or as little children as they chose to have?" It is a tremendous advantage having your own television show that allows you to postulate your own 'truths', values and principles. It's a one-sided presentation of course. The viewers may disagree, they may want to scream objections, but the viewing public doesn't have the advantage of sitting in front of a camera on National television presenting their side of the story. Of course people could join forums such as this to discuss their opinions of a family like the Duggars. Not all people that watch are fans of the Duggars, they are fans of revealing the real truths behind cults like the one the Duggars belong to. Cults do not work in a Democratic society, they just don't. Going back to the Abe Lincoln quote "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time". This really sums up TLC and Duggars. They are nothing but a long blip on the radar of pop culture that fooled a lot of people and in a few years nobody will care and most won't remember any of them. That's exactly what TLC is waiting for. They're sitting back, giving it time until all the flurry of press and interest begins to recede. Once they're confident it has, that's the time they'll announce either a spinoff with Jessa and Jill or a firm commitment to cancelling all future programs that include any of the Duggars. I for one, have never been a fan of any reality show that capitalizes on people that are different or unusual in any way. And, you are correct. If people outright rejected watching this type of programming, then there wouldn't be any reality shows like this. But, it's a free country and I don't have any right to tell others what to watch or not watch. If that's what they want it's fine with me.

Well, I'm behind here because I just saw the episode that I missed Sunday. Just a few things made any impression on me. Mareen getting burned up, the little girl about to be raped and Daenerys taking off on the spiked back (doesn't that hurt?) of her favorite dragon leaving her bestest gal-pal Messandei left standing there with Tyrion and Jorah facing the spears of the Harpies. Oh yay for her but really what a friend is she? All the stuff about Dorne just took up too much time for me, it felt pointless. One more episode left and I'm wondering how they're going to possibly wrap up this season and still make some sense. Sansa, Brienne, Ramsey, Theon, Cersei, Margary, Jamie, Arya, Jon Snow, Sam Tarly, Podrick, Loras, Lord Varys, Littlefinger, Bronn, Look at that list!! I can't even imagine how they're going to finish this up without leaving us all clueless as to what happens to any of those that we don't ever see again.

I don't think I actually said that I excuse it, I only meant to say that I can understand it because of those circumstances. If Bethenny was raised in a functional family, with good core values and parents that were respected and she still exhibited neurosis and uncontrolled behavior, then I could never accept nor excuse it.
-
Sonja is a 'little horny' like Kim Kardashian is a little narcissistic. For years, I've had a dislike for Bethenny Frankel, I never cared to know anything about her. It wasn't until this season that I watched especially to find out what type of energy she would bring into the mix of wives. I soon found out, quite a lot. She's intensely neurotic of course like most of them. But Bethenny, as we later learned with the reunion with her stepfather, had just about the most tumultuous childhood that anyone could imagine. Because of it, she gets a pass from me. She's been ruined inside from when she was just a little kid. She would have been better off if she was taken from her home and put in a foster home or up for adoption. Her mother was bulimic and an alcoholic. She had to clean up her mother's vomit many times. There was physical abuse between the mother and the second husband Parisella, and the police called many times. Then there was the makeup sex better her mother and stepfather that was noisy and loud that she had to listen to in the next room. Her childhood could be a best selling book, a classic story of a totally dysfunctional, violent, and abusive upbringing. I'm sure that the therapy she's receiving will continue throughout her life. She's going to be the opposite of her mother with Bryn but unfortunately she'll be doing the single parent thing and maybe find a love interest some day. I just think that her overly-possessive nature with Bryn will put up roadblocks to any relationships of her own, and I think her smothering of Bryn will eventually damage her in some way as well. I like to believe there's hope for people even as bizarre as she is. She's just a television personality and nobody needs to like her and she could care less if anyone does. But keeping in mind the horrors of her past brings more understanding to me of why she is like she is and I accept her under those circumstances.

Heather Thomson: Inventor of Yummie Tummie
HumblePi replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
I don't like Heather, she's beginning to wear on my nerves with the 'mama' and 'halla' stuff. It's overdone already dear so drop it. I don't like Luann this season, she seems too desperate to keep her nose poking into things that don't concern her and her 40's 'glam' look at Dorinda's birthday party looked absolutely laughable and sad. I don't like Ramona because she has a few screws loose for real. I don't like Sonja either because she tries to be cute by acting all sexy and she only looks like an over-the-hill rich woman trying to regain her lost youth. I 'kind of' like Bethenny and the way she shoots from the hip, never mincing words. I do like Dorinda and so far she shows that she has some class. Now I'm wondering why I watch this show at all since it doesn't seem like I like any of them. I was annoyed at the current episode because it seems like there's too much noise and everyone is talking at the same time. It's hard to distinguish who is saying what because they're all talking over each other and talking rapid-fire. *how could I overlook Carole? I don't like her this season at all either. -

Meet the Parents: Gil and Kelly Jo Bates
HumblePi replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Bringing Up Bates
It's the same thing, only the names are different. Call a giraffe a donkey and it will still be a giraffe.
