Is he German? Eastern European? I had a lady buy me some thinly sliced raw bacon from a local deli shop....along with dark pumpernickel bread and mustard it’s soooooooooo delicious. The bacon kind of melts even though it’s raw. She seemed to indicate she only eats it this way when she can get it sliced from a bulk piece. I think grocery store bacon would be too thick. I’m not a bacon fan but this version was great.
