How does this show work in order for it not to be battle of the fittest males? Working backwards there has to be a way to let the Amy’s of the world compete and struggle because her family needs the money. If the show was 15 Dusty’s it would make even less sense. it will be interesting to see how the final challenges equalize the fitness component. I wonder what the participants are thinking as they watch the episodes now. Are they embarrassed at the hokey helicopter and them shouting about a mountainskeeper?

Why am I watching this? every week I dislike these people more and I think it’s because of the premise and it’s ever changing rules. And that slo mo helicopter. And the open hands voting. And the bubbling cauldron of soup. And please don’t put butter on my bread I’m lactose intolerant. And thanks for the dehydrating beer at elevation.

Why are we spending so much time showing this conversation between Andy and Rachel?

I dislike all of the hidden immunity idols. Pretty much when you find those things in the wild they go straight into the unwashed nether regions of the men or women or the cleaner option of the unwashed chesticle region of the women. Either way everyone loses LOL. Especially when they kiss the idol my squoink meter shoots up.

The only reason I’m watching it now is because it’s after Survivor and my BF plays pickleball during that time lol. I record Survivor but this is the first season I’ve seen it live. If I went back to my normal routine I would neither watch this summit show nor record it. Why cooperation? This show would be better in a cutthroat format with sabotages or sabotaging others.🤣

That’s a good point….some time context would be great in terms of the delay. They are trying so hard to make it seem like they are alone out there with the editing but you can still see some of the crew. Just be transparent with it….the line catches you and drops you to the safety point where you started. It’s not like you go hurling to the bottom. It would have been more fun if you don’t make it on the first try you’re out. The whole last person takes the backpacks was dumb….hooked up the backpacks with help from the crew would have been more accurate. And they didn’t have to be any more trustworthy than anyone else. trying to figure out what would make this more exciting under this format and I can’t think of one. The mountain hiking is steep…got it. It’s occasionally cold…got it. Wow snow…got it. Wow these bushes are thorny….got it. Yep…this mountain is still steep. Wow it’s kind of slippery here…got it. Hey watch out for the hole here! And uneven terrain again! Got it…cue the helicopter! and didn’t they say the next location was inhospitable so that’s why they had to carry the food? Was that the lake adjacent location or was this a multipart episode since we didn’t see any tents either?

Entertaining episode and the grubs were back. Disgusting to watch but reminiscent of the OG days of a harder and dirtier Survivor. I wonder how bad their clothes and shoes smell. That huge crochet cardigan looked warm but all I could think about was how nasty everything must be. Ocean water makes everything smell bad!

I guess I’m annoyed at how fast we label someone a liar and untrustworthy. Seems different than being strategic and manipulative on survivor. Denis just seems like he wants the villain edit and thank goodness he’s willing to play a role so we have some type of edit each week! If I were him I would have said “ i won’t carry anymore stuff unless you agree not to vote me out. Let Amy or jennye carry the load then if they have such big mouths to get me out and how they won’t quit….but them not quitting is just for them to pull their own weight. Here’s my backpack jennye! Meow.”

His game play is so…baaaaaaaaaaaad. I’ll see myself out.

I know it goes against your survival instinct but if Kyle feels like he isn’t imminently on the block he should fight the urge to win multiple challenges in a row. It just makes you the obvious choice.
