  1. I've never heard of CFON. But nothing like taking a relic of a brand and trying to force a viral video that pushed product or was informational. Viral videos don't have boundaries. And it's annoying that each season at least one team decides that viral means sex or raunch. The boardroom editing was odd. Kenya seemed unprovoked but the whole conversation was oddly spliced. Not that I need this 2 hour show to be longer but a little more context would be nice.
  2. If our meat was not sold in neat prepackaged wrapped slices, I think I'd be a vegetarian. For some reason I don't feel bad about shrimp though!
  3. Fascinating! I cannot imagine Perez as daphne but I loved her cameo later. And WTH with Kirstie alley??? The precall was too funny. I had no idea she was such a blowhard.
  4. Thanks Gregory. I guess it is Top Thai after all. If I had to choose between 2 dishes containing Tom kha I choose Mei's Walden tom kha snow topped dish. However since the elimination was George who was asterisked anyway, better off I say.
  5. I'd love a video master class of Melissa's techniques on her magic vegetables. They have been well received in many challenges. When the veg overshadows freaking lobster, I need this information in my life! I get Mei too. And I feel bad for both Melissa and Mei but it's pretty typical of that parental generation.
  6. Thought it was a wee bit odd that George called his dad "Mr. Tony" repeatedly.
  7. I knew they weren't going to give it to Mei. I think it's because her brother's dish was so simple and Melissa's mom made chawamushi. Eh. I hope Mei isn't the one that makes nauseating chinese take out ribs next week. My vote for boot is George! The drudging and digging and fishing is always fun to watch. I really wanted some fresh oysters or fresh surf clams! Oh my. The setting for this episode was spectacular. Nice house, nice dinner setting....quite lovely.
  8. I agree with this. Peter's feeling or POV is easier to see than Alicia, who is written close to the chest or at least less decisive. However I disagree with him really wanting to do the right thing. Or at least it's a lot easier to do the right thing after he's been "doing the thing" for awhile. Snark. He always seems like he's going to be repentant after the fact. It's a lot harder to face temptation and turn it away which is really "doing the right thing."
  9. I know that it almost makes sense how it all happened (cary and alicia leaving to start their own firm etc) but I did have that moment of WTF when with the David Lee addition at the end it just seemed like it came full circle and we were right back where we started. Literally in the same offices. I know the named partners are different and dynamics have changed a bit but boy that seemed tidy. Totally glad that Diane called out Alicia on running despite Castro dropping out. Maybe the writers were willing to commit to Alicia saying she wanted to win thus propelling her forward TO win. Anyone know how long David Hyde Pierce's arc is supposed to be? The only good thing about this is that at least we'd have a show split with the "lawyer storylines" sans Alicia/ripped from the headlines and then the "alicia as state's attorney" storylines and the various crossovers. Grace has really aged! She looked very pretty last night. Not sure if there is much room for the kids' storylines though. This show is packed. It's probably a good idea Kalinda is leaving in whatever form they choose to write her off. There are too many characters here that aren't getting enough juice and we can't continue to have main characters who can't be seen onscreen unless they are green screened. LOL.
  10. Kendra will probably utter something about her boys to start that war....nobody talks about Brandi's kids without her seeing merlot....
  11. Dang. I had no idea!! I kind of thought she was scrappy since she is divorced from a dude who was barely employed there for awhile and she is trying to support those kids...have no idea how much she made on her shows though.
  12. I didn't see camel toe or mooseknuckle. And the fabric was hideous 80s neon but most all of the fabric was hideous. I didn't think Michelle's swimsuit was that fabulous. I did like the fabric manipulation using the elastic but even though the model has a stunning body, I just can't deal with that cup drop and strap starting mid boobage. That literally could only be a custom swimsuit or a lot of body tape. Yikes. Denim and lace is interesting. But can't imagine wearing it anyplace posh nor anyplace hot. Time and Place should still trump original design concept. Ibitha is the new Ibizzzza. And his girl missed her flight. Can someone please take away Sonjia's OCC liptars?
  13. I did like the fact that the chefs seemed genuinely in awe of Jacques himself. I got to hang out with him at a cocktail party for an hour and even got a picture with him at a different event when he was signing books and talking to people for about 10 minutes a person. The pic is literally my most prized celeb pic possession. He's ridiculously gracious. I never saw Julia on TV but I did see a few episodes of Jacques and Julia. Greg's impression of Julia was funny. I don't believe it when he said that he's NEVER made coq au vin though. And are we surprised that Mei won? Did she say that she staged at Joel Robuchon in freaking France?? What was the purpose of notGay Andy Cohen? I didn't mind him but what was the point? The Herb Lyceum (sp?) location was gorgeous. I loved the buddha in the garden and the table was spectacularly simple.
  14. They could have given them all the same liver to start if goat is that much more sinewy and funky. I can't stand liver anyway.
  15. And how many times have we heard Tom say not to take the meat out of the braising liquid? and Melissa not using the pressure cooker because Julia wouldn't have is illogical. Julia wouldn't have tried to do short ribs in 3 hours, including prep. Surprised they showed Jacques finger tasting. Old school master yet sooooooooooo not vogue anymore. All I could hear was Anne Burrell's shrill voice screaming " you will never taste off your fingers in my kitchen!!!!! NEVER!!!!"
  16. I'm going to hell but I laughed and I laughed and then laughed some more. You win my internet today...thanks I needed that.
  17. I'm surprised Doug didn't get a pass for going for a more aggressive dish. It's obvious that roasting a whole lobe of fois is not common so the technique wouldn't be in anyone's wheelhouse, except in theory. However the other 2 did dishes that are more common and still screwed up their proteins. I think they should ban braised and glazed short ribs on this show!!!!
  18. Noooooooooooooooo! Not Doug!! I'm irritated. I know George can't do anything about the rules but the more I see his greasy ass hair, the more I feel like he doesn't deserve to be there and he took a major shortcut. I also thought Melissa's mess was a good candidate for elimination too. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Bacon, Dorito and sausage pizza broth. Sweet.
  19. Her latest nose job is veering right. And over/ under until she utters the words "if you attack me, I'll attack you back" ???
  20. Guy - we dated one year. Girl - we dated two years. That guy was a dick. And did they date for one year or two? How can you be off an entire year!!!!!!!????? I kind of love viewers choice.
  21. You are right...how DID she dance???? Was golden boy her partner?? And Neat does Wuh? Annoyed that when trying to decide who would be PM, the women reverted to a vapid stare and echoes of " oh noes, I don't understand the technologies!!!" I mean what a big cue eye roll. But when they can spew generalities it's all Women Power!!! They weren't selling tech to Larry Ellison FFS, they are selling a scanner. Please.
  22. The editors are having fun. Brandi showed no self awareness commenting Kate had no skills but to come on TV and yell. T.O. Surprised me. Trump loves a good redemption arc and he's our guy this season. Jonas wasn't listening and that was his downfall. Trump was basically telling him to bring in Lorenzo and he'd boot him. Don't these people bother to watch the show even after they agree to come on it??? I'm REALLY annoyed at the intro montage. With Geraldo being featured so much in the early episodes, to prominently feature a clip of him standing next to Kate in the wedding dress as part of the intro each week has killed any suspense of who is going home.
