  1. This is a screenshot from C & E’s latest YT video. Why does the info card on the hospital bassinet have Bates as the name and not Clark? Do they always use the mother’s maiden name?
  2. And her concession to Evan's preference for traditional red and green Christmas decor? One strand of fresh garland on the half wall and a BLACK bow! During the installation of said garland/bow, she almost burned their house down because she had three lit candles on the counter right next to some dried grass in a vase. Truly, the grass caught fire and they both ran around blithering until Evan thought to pour a glass of water on the fire. Such idiots!
  3. I'm working from home today and just caught an episode of the 60s sitcom Family Affair and I noticed how strongly Alyssa (prior to her post-marriage secularization of her look) resembled the older sister Cissy (actress Kathy Garver).
  4. Have we discussed "anabiotics" yet? This is the second time in the last couple weeks she's used this instead of antibiotics.
  5. Apparently this is what the cartoonishly large mirror was for. Family selfies. They needed it so big so they could get both their egos in the pic.
  6. Her story today briefly showed her packing for her “little weekend trip” before she started shilling crap and she put shoes ON HER BED while preparing to pack them. Yes, I’m a bit of a germaphobe, but I don’t even bring my suitcase into my bedroom while packing, as I don’t want a suitcase that’s been dragged around everywhere and thrown around airport luggage carousels on my carpet. It stays on tile flooring outside the bedroom that gets cleaned regularly. Shoes on the bed? Shudders!
  7. Exactly! While watching the videos, I was gobsmacked because they KNEW her brother was moving in right away, but they couldn't be bothered to clean/have it cleaned once they left. Plus, the sweet church friend thing. Leaving a rented house/apartment less than spotless is bad enough when it's a rando landlord, but to do that to a church buddy seems kinda, I don't know, un-Christian, no matter what season of life (blech) you're in.
  8. I just stumbled on Trace and Lydia's YouTube channel and they are posting videos of their "remodeling" of Carlin and Evan's former apartment, and they are low key DRAGGING Carlin and Evan about the condition of the place. The worst was pointing out the mouse nest under the kitchen sink. It was absolutely disgusting and had obviously been there quite a while. Another bit shows one of the younger Bates girls and two of Lydia's younger sisters cleaning the absolutely filthy front door. They don't come out and say C & E were bad housekeepers, but they are certainly showing it.
  9. Does he think ANYBODY is on his side in all this?
  10. I wonder if this is a Steel Magnolias situation, wherein the doctor said Erin "shouldn't" have anymore children, and she and Chad heard that they "couldn't" have anymore children, so when she ended up pregnant, they thought it was a miracle from Jesus. Didn't end up so well in Steel Magnolias.
  11. Last night on the show, Whitney and Josie were painting wooden name plaques for the upcoming babies (both were still pregnant), and the name Whitney put on hers was very clearly "Jayden" not "Jadon." I wonder why they changed the spelling?
  12. Hester's posture annoyed me almost as much as her "designs." And then, 90% of the time, she slapped one of her beret/graduation mortar boards against the back (not on top) of her head which made her look even more hunched over. Every time she was on screen, I was thinking of cartoon vultures.
  13. Are you my cousin? I’m not sure what year my great aunt was born, but my grandfather was born in 1898 and he was the oldest of six children. Aunt Ruth was the youngest. Their parents died relatively young and she lived in the house she was born in her whole life.
  14. I think it's because of her carefully orchestrated "asthma attack." When she first came back in the house, there was talk about "oh, she's got breathing problems; she won't be strong in competitions" so they decided she wasn't a threat to win anything and they could get rid of her at any point going forward. And I think this was part of Oma's strategy. She knew she had a big target on her back, so she did what she had to do to change that - garner sympathy by overplaying an asthma attack, thereby making herself seem like less of a threat to win competitions. And they all fell for it. EXACTLY! She learned from the master.
  15. It's all good. I totally agree with what you said, I just wanted to clarify that I wasn't blaming Vanessa for a totally speculative fight between her and Maks.
