For only the 2nd time three teams have won 60+ games in a season. The first time was 2008/09 - Cavs, Celtics, Lakers 2024/25 - Cavs, Celtics, Thunder

Now Ja says he's going to mimic pulling the pin & throwing a grenade in celebration. What is wrong with this guy?! You can't celebrate mimicking something other than violence?
-
Plus you don't have to go QB at #2. I'd like them to get Abdul Carter. With Myles on one side & Carter on the other, who needs a star QB?! LOL

Two AFC North teams nailed their QB, two have completely bundled theirs. (Sadly, the two who have bungled their QB situation are represented in my home. Browns for me and Steelers for hubby. We can't even tease each other anymore. It's just sad.)

The Cavs have officially locked in #1 seed in the East. It could've been the overall #1 if they hadn't crapped the bed for almost two weeks last month. For the record, I blame hubby. He hadn't worn his Cavs jammy pants all season. The very next day after he wore them for the first time, they lost the first of four in a row. After the 4th loss, I hid the pants. In other WTF are you thinking, does Ja Morant not understand that his gun gestures make an impression on kids that might look up to him? He's setting a bad example when he continues to make such gestures even after being warned over & over. All this does is teach kids on the margin that it's okay to break the rules or to fight authority. And it glamorizes street thuggishness and violence. Fining him isn't doing the job. Suspending him w/o pay might or making him do community service in areas affected by gun violence might work better.

League owners have voted to include stats from the old AAFC of 1946-49 into NFL stats. Which means the 1948 49ers now own the single season team rushing record of 3,663 over previous holder the 2019 Ravens of 3,296. That team also holds the team yards per play record of 6.07, now beating the 2024 Ravens of 5.76. But more interestingly, the 1948 Browns join the 1972 Dolphins as being the only other undefeated season. The league has added in the modern Playoff era to the Dolphins season. The Browns won 15 total games that season under the tutelage of coach Paul Brown. While us Browns fans need something good to hear, I do feel bad for the added asterisk on the Dolphins achievement.

Milestone Moments: All The Celebrity Vitals

He suffered for so long, and was gossiped abt so much before he made his throat cancer diagnosis public, that he deserves and probably needs his rest. I will always be awed by his portrayal of Jim Morrison, but he was great in pretty much everything.- 4.3k replies

Didn't he say something like, "we tried for a QB..." YOU HAD A QB! A GOOD ONE! Better than the alleged monster.

Milestone Moments: All The Celebrity Vitals

Yeah, I thought after I posted that it might've been a movie. I was a tween who found her second character crush (after Speed Racer) so I really only remember Ken Howard. LOL, so the memory isn't the best. -

OrKnight Rider. LOL Was he in 1776?. That was my first grown up mini series I was allowed to watch. I just remember Ken Howard as a hot young Thomas Jefferson. Happy Birthday Mr. Daniels. -

Shogun, Dr. Kildare, Thornbirds, 3 Musketeers, Towering Inferno, Count of Monte Cristo, Man in the Iron Mask, Centennial... Outside of Roots or Rich Man, Poor Man, I don't think there was a late 70s early 80s mini series that Mr. Chamberlain wasn't a part of. (j/k) He was the King of the Miniseries and such a draw as an actor and face. He knew how to sell a serialized story. And he made such an AH inTowering Inferno that was different from his normal characters. RIP sir. You lived a long, productive life and deserve your rest.- 4.3k replies

Shit that means we're getting Shadeur. Myles said he knew the Browns plans for QB, and th at was a factor for signing that massive extension. Another Browns screw up at QB. We could been in the Playoffs regularly with Baker. At least we're not Pissburgh.
-
Hubby just started watching and wholeheartedly YES! This Murdoc has no flair, no charm of Michael Des Barres.
-
As fun as he was last year, I agree.
-
The Steelers are not a stupid organization, I don't understand why they're waiting to just re-sign Wilson, and stop letting Roger's hold them hostage.
-
So it turns out the Browns DID screw over the Bengals. And just like Dallas, Cincinnati has most of their money tied up in three players. And just like Dallas they have little to no Defense.
-
I heard they offered Darnold just a tad less than Seattle. Considering JJ McCarthy may come back & start this season (tho I think he's not a good NFL caliber QB, the Viking did pick him in the first round), and less money offered, it's not surprising Ssm went to Seattle. So yeah, all this Rogers BS could've been avoided if they'd have franchised the latter.
-
I'm okay with it. They still have 3 streaks of 12 or more, including the longest of the year. They had to lose sometime, and better now than in the Playoffs. Sometimes great teams just lose to weak ones. It's a fluke, but it happens. They lost to the Hawks earlier this year. Better to rest guys and be healthy.
-
Yeah Grandma Kitty rates a full blown spot, but Cavs with the longest win streak this year, plus the best record, rank nothing!
-
As long as they finally deal with Homelander and now Butcher. It's getting to be annoying and frustrating.
-
Ty Jerome and Jarrett Allrn sat out, too. Yet they still had 8 players in double digits. Which goes to show how deep the bench is.
-
Honestly I don't see why Will Howard isn't valued any higher. He's surely as good as Shadeur. In fact I think he's better than last year's National Champion* JJ McCarthy, as they won mostly because of their run game and cheating.
