  1. But none of us are upset that Bebe got (I think) one vote? I mean, I'm not, but it's funny I haven't seen any posts saying she deserved more.
  2. How they voted was interesting to me, more so than a lot of the episode. thanks, Corgi-ears!
  3. Aja was great as Crystal Labeija, but Crystal is best known for her part in The Queen, about an obviously rigged drag pageant, and her reaction to losing to someone who knew they would win who didn't even try. History has repeated itself a bit here.
  4. I read a work of fiction where a guy had tied fishing lines to typewriter keys, and claimed the fish wrote poetry. He cleaned up the stuff they typed, because he claimed you can't expect fish to spell. I feel like fish were in charge of this whole season. Nothing made sense to me. I'm not even really mad, but I'm not wishing for another season of Drag Race or All Stars. I just feel tired. I had thought at the beginning they were going to set Trixie up as obviously as they set Alaska up (which still pisses me off, I prefer Katya, although the way things have gone maybe it's better...). And then Trixie did not that well. And so bad in the snatch game. And then she won? Get rid of the judging twists and have the judges do their one job. Get better fish to script this stupid show.
  5. The rich and famous, they're just like us!
  6. She freaks out when he leaves to work, in part because she thinks he's going to cheat on her, and she probably isn't wrong. And yet, no one is bringing in any income.
  7. Morgan, (Hissing like a swan). Ross, questions the hissing. Morgan solemnly explains that swans hiss when people get to close. Morgan in the terrible sketch (honks like a goose) I also loved Trixie: I'm in a nightmare. Bebe's never seen Drag Race. Kennedy doesn't know what a meme is.
  8. Yes! This is a big part of the problem, plus the elimination twist is hurting the queens and the show. I hope the get rid of it and make the judges do their job. The normal format allows girls who are fierce dancers to do what they do best if they're in the bottom two, this format loses that as well.
  9. Morgan hissing like a swan! And defending it! I liked that bit. I am enjoying Bebe less and less, and I hope she hasn't damaged her career or image by returning to the show. Shangela in the lip sync fat suit was everything! Maybe this season a big girl will finally win?
  10. I don't think either of these idiots can think past having the next kid. This isn't really a crisis, I don't think, just them lurching from bad choice to bad choice. They have no long term plans or visions. I think they think the days of reality shows will return. It won't. In this post Lemonade world, when I hear the name of the alleged affair partner my mind corrects it to "Emily with the Good Hand."
  11. The queen who was brought back - at least it wasn't Thorgy or Milk? I would rather have seen more of Aja, but production doesn't want her there. I kind of think anyone brought back has a good chance of going home the next week anyway.
  12. What if they kept the queens eliminating queens format for a season, but had an all Libra cast? RPDR seems heavy on Cancers and Libras, don't know about drag queens in general, but Cancer is the most feminine and Libra is Venus rules (along with Taurus, though). There don't seem to be many Scorpios, I wonder if Ru selects them out?
  13. Out of ten five remain, and they are not the best of the best. Lacklustre is right. I guess I'll root for Trixie, but she just isn't bringing it to this show. I don't mind Kennedy and Shangela, Bebe is just there. I hope Morgan gets a chance to prove that she really isn't All Starts top four material, and goes home while clearly deserving it. This is no longer must see t.v. I'll watch it, but maybe not ASAP on Thursdays. Instead of squatty potties and square space, they should be giving some of the queens ten sessions with a really good therapist. In the city they live in, unlike giving Hamberger Mary's to vegetarians and people who don't live where they have the HM franchise.
  14. I wonder what their fights over money are like. I wish the kids could go live with stable family members, but who wants up to five traumatized kids? Still, I wish the kids could bail, or that they'd start taking them away from these useless parents.
  15. I think Dela really doesn't want drama, or the responsibility of sending someone home. I'm impressed she didn't throw the lip sync. I've never like the judges putting it on the contestants to send each other home. And with the rabid fan bases, it isn't good for their careers. This is a pretty lack lustre top five, though. Shannel quit season one, Adore "tapped out" of AS2, and Dela just won and chose to leave. Eventually they'll have enough queens who quit to make a season of it. I guess we'd just watch them play cards, or nap or something. There were rumors that Morgan returned and sent Dela home, and Morgan got what was deemed a "credible death threat" over it. Being Morgan, she offered to send the person who threatened to throw acid in her face her schedule. Dela did an instagram post that gave no spoilers away, but was eloquent saying as gay men, who aren't masculine many are threatened in their lives and this show is an oasis of being accepted for being those things, and that's it's abhorrent that someone is getting death threats over a t.v. show. Good talk, it's on YouTube. And then it wasn't even true that Morgan sent Dela home. PS I think Dela choosing to go home would have happened even without last week's bs from the judges about seeming tired (Dela confirmed that winning and possibly having to send someone home was extra exhausting), and being kinda meh when she only gave 100%, but I think last week's crap from the judges made it even easier for her to decide to leave. PPS Remember the Season 7 finale when Ru had the top three girls, but then called Katya over, a queen many thought should win? And then they did a gag of Katya handing Ru bottled water. I wonder if Ru will go ahead and crown Dela, or pull a similar stunt?
  16. She always says that she likes having kids in pairs, so she wants an even number. The Deaner's kid from his first marriage doesn't count when she does math. With Tori and any choice at all, big or small, no matter what, you can count on her to make the worst possible decision. PS Nice use of the passive voice talking about being overwhelmed with five kids and mounting debt; like there is no connection between the two and like these things just happened to them.
  17. I didn't understand that Bebe was saying 'delicacy' at first, and English isn't her first language, but it was another chance to show RuPaul and Michelle's lack of consistency. I also think Michelle should know that peanut soup is a thing in parts of Africa.
  18. Hour long intro with Sasha V on YouTube They've announced the cast for season 10! They all seem pretty accomplished, I guess the competition for the show is harder. I wish there were a few unpolished newer queens, even if they go home early. Kalorie is from New Mexico, and I think is the first New Mexican on RPDR, so as a native Las Crucian I'm for her, unless she spectacularly screws up.
  19. I'd like to commend Dirty Bubble for suggesting Paul Lynde two years before Dela made it happen. Good prediction!
  20. There's a bonus clip of ChiChi packing to leave and she is a sweet and gracious as can be. She does observe that the current formula of the top two lip syncing meant she wasn't able to do what she does best on the show, but she doesn't say it as a criticism. I think she was philosophical about leaving and probably somewhat relieved.
  21. I had thought going into this season of All Stars that they were just going to hand it to Trixie like they did Alaska. I was clearly wrong. Tonight was hard to watch. Willam spilled some tea somewhere about a queen having a nervous breakdown during AS3 filming because they were also working on their other projects while filming AS3. Everyone is pretty sure he was talking about Trixie, filming the Viceland show or UHHnnn. I hope this show doesn't hurt any of the participant's careers, even Milk's. If it wasn't for Shangela appearing to be about to send Trixie home I think we'd be talking more about Aja, who did a fabulous Crystal Labeija. I was happy to see someone acknowledge the roots of Drag Race, too.
  22. Reddit has a very blurry glimpse of next week's Snatch Game. I won't post any of the guesses, but the thread on trying to peer at the blur and guess not only which queen is where, and who are they playing, but how many queens are there? There are some blurry shadows of the Snatch Game contestants which get counted as contestants, which throws the number off. Although they might have brought back an eliminated queen. Who can say? I'm enjoying how little actual facts there are to be gleaned from this blur.
  23. Kennedy in The Bitchelor, falls down, deep voice,"I'm a man!" Jeffrey to RuPaul, "Will you accept my eggplant?"
  24. If Kennedy had gone home last week we would have missed her wonderful performance this week; not to discount Thorgy, maybe she would also have done something amazing. People keep saying Chi2 has been in the bottom three times, and that is true, but I think Milk should have been in the bottom instead of her the first episode. Which would mean they were each in the bottom twice. Plus, if Kennedy wins the lip sync she gets to send home whomever she wants, or save whomever she wants to save. Milk would have sent her home, I have no problem with this. Maybe Chi2 goes home next week. I was one who thought they were saving Milk for the Marc Jacobs episode, I'm pleasantly surprised to be wrong. I hope Milk watches these and learns something. It would suck to go through life that completely delusional, but only in regard to your own actions.
  25. Kennedy gave Milk a well deserved trip home! Woooo! Kennedy deserved her wins, too, she was funny in the Bichelor, too. I saw a thumbnail this morning for last season's Whatcha Packin' with Aja and thought it was from this episode; I may literally be delirious with the flu but so glad I was mistaken!
