I dunno. I still don't think this is how Jason is going to stay and I think Liason is a smokescreen. Until proven otherwise, I do think this will have an inevitable JaSam reunion. The story means zilch if Jason loves Liz and is all, "F my family!!" The writers are SO lazy. Everyone has the same convo in every show. Sam/Patrick literally exchange the exact same dialogue/flirting mechanisms.

The good thing about JnR, for me, is that enough time has passed that I can appreciate what they used to be. And I never have to worry about them together romantically again. Praise Jasus! And it's always nice to remember when Jason had facial expressions and emotions, so it was awesome sauce.

I get this POV. I truly do. This is on the writers, I agree. But if they want happy characters, they shouldn't write heavy storylines. They shouldn't have a woman being held hostage repeatedly. Emma looks ridic if this is her reaction to her mother gone forever. Patrick, I couldn't care less about at this point, so whatevs to him.

Did Patrick/Emma have a heart-to-heart about how her mother ain't coming home anytime soon, if ever, off-screen? 'Cause they're so well-adjusted and happy. And I see Emma is back to propping another of her father's womenzzz.

When Jake realizes HE's Jason, he's going to be soooo disappointed.

Right now Jake IS Jason. Years down the line the writers might change that, who knows, but there's no reason to believe that this is anyone else. Or else everything going on right now is more useless than I thought. Also, while RC basically strings along every fanbase, I'm still not getting the impression that we're supposed to watch Liason and Samtrick and go, "Awwwww! I hope they have a double wedding and live happily ever after." I think Ron wants it to be more along the lines of, "Noooooo!! Sam, Jase is alive! Patty, your wife is being held hostage!!" (Obvs Liason/Samtrick fans think otherwise, but I don't consider those to be extremely large fanbases, although I don't discount them at all.)

Yep. I think he's purposely writing Jason as a completely different person. I think Ron thinks it's cute that he's doing these OTT, jarring things...like joking, smiling, laughing, mocking, etc.
