Spoilers and Speculation: Clink Boom and Cheese Fondue
HeatLifer replied to BestestAuntEver's topic in General Hospital
This needs to happen after this next appearance. I've had enough. Robin will ALWAYS be more important than Patrick. ALWAYS. I don't care that he's still on the show full-time. His character will never, ever be what Robin Scorpio is/was. Her happiness and her story is THE story. She should be the one to say "Fuck you, bye." End of story for me. -

Since we know Robin will be back, but not longterm, I'm asking Ron to skip Patty's fake pain and just have Robin tell him to fuck off. As a woman, I find it completely offensive if her reaction is anything else. And that easily transitions her off-screen again without a kidnapping. -

That's pretty much the only way Patrick would be fixable to me. Because his behavior is completely outrageous considering the circumstances of the character. But, if that's how the writers want it, they best be consistent. When Robin DOES come back, I'm not interested in his feelings or pain. He's all happy with Sam and that's that. -

Regardless of who is spending Thanksgiving where, I'm more disturbed by Patrick's cheesy ass smile and pure happiness considering his beloved Blanket died months ago, he still doesn't know who caused the accident, and his wife said she's never coming back and left him to raise a child alone. He looks like a sociopath. Like, hey writers, if you want Patty to be flirty and smiley, try penning a story that actually makes sense. -
This show has not been good to Patrick's friends. Ha.
-
Because if Sam/Patrick actually reached a correct end to their investigation, it would have to be revealed that Victor was behind the car accident to keep Robin in line. And if Patrick knew that, his direct line to Sam's fun stuff would be gone. :(
-
That, too! Spencer was the only one crying about "Uncle Sonny." The murderer gets more tears from a kid than the girls have for their moms.
-
Which is completely unacceptable. And I wouldn't mind the kiddie squad if they were given actual kiddie storylines. Instead of having Emma in a love triangle, maybe have a scene where her stupid father tells her that her mother isn't coming home. I can't believe they're completely pretending that never happened. Emma be sipping on milkshakes like nothing.

I've always thought Fairman was kinda/sorta weird like that. He acts like a KMc fan, but then asked JT, jokingly or not, if he was mad that KMc was ruining his career because of her comings and goings.

The main takeaway....

ITA. But why bring the character back if you just want him to be completely different? Jason's memories (whether Q or Morgan) are the only reason this story has any legs. If Ron wanted funny Jake Doe, he should have introduced him as such. Don't use the history of Jason to fool viewers.
-
So, the audience cares that Anna "killed" Faison? The guy who recently was the hand who took her daughter away for 2 years? We're supposed to want Anna to pay? Ron hates Robin. For real.
-
Everytime I read his interviews and how he views certain characters and stories, I wonder why I'm still watching. Why bring back Jason if he's not Jason at some point!?!? What in the actual fuck.
-
I kinda like Anna/Julian. Like, I don't know why. But I do. It's like hot love/hate. Better than anything Alexis. Do the writers have a drinking game centered around how many times Sam/Patrick say Luke, Jerry, Adventure, Beard, Spencer, My Son? Or how many times Sam touches his face unnecessarily? Patty had to ACT like he was upset about Blanket to Larry. My goodness. Bobbie needs to STFU. Carly and Sonny are truly embarassing. I'm thisclose to FF'ing them, but I like watching them suffer too much. Silas/Ava...snoooooze. Michael calling Kiki a liar and an idiot is like, the most amazing thing to happen on this show since, "Call me....Michael Quartermaine." TJ sighting! With tears! Morgs had way too much shit in his hair.

Jason better ask if Sam/Patrick are a couple at Thanksgiving, so Patrick can be like, "Not yet. My divorce from my bitch ex-wife ROBIN hasn't been finalized." And then Jase will have an epic flashback and lock Patrick in a closet. All my fantasies end up with Patrick stuffed in a closet. -
Carly Corinthos-Jacks: Ruining Lives Since 1996
HeatLifer replied to BetteBoo's topic in General Hospital
Well, Jason is always different story. But for Carly to still believe that it was the right decision to lie about Mikey would be interesting. The choice has backfired on her. -
He actually took it off way before that...when Patty/Sam played pool. So it's no indication that the divorce is final, unfortunately.
-
Oh, I know. But I never thought I'd even get a millisecond of this.

Carly Corinthos-Jacks: Ruining Lives Since 1996
HeatLifer replied to BetteBoo's topic in General Hospital
Was just watching some 1999 clips and I'm really, really curious if Carly will still blame Robin about Mikey. -
Michael is just so much better as a character now that he's a Q and hates Sonny/Carly.
-
I just read that interview again and wanted to pull my fingernails out. In what soap universe is it fun to watch the loony characters always win, while the sane characters are dumbasses and/or held hostage forever?
-
I feel so shallow bc I wouldn't give a crap about RP if he wasn't hot.
-
Sheila was an interesting case. Because while she was batshit crazy, she also had the ability to fool people into thinking she was normal. And she was also on 2 shows (Y&R, B&B), so it was easier for the storylines to continue. And she was only really one character's arch-nem...Lauren.
-
I've never viewed Maxie or Liz as heroines. So fucking odd. I guess I should be happy he didn't say Dr. O. YES. It's the fact that there are SO MANY crazies.
-
When you're writing the characters? No. Really, Ron!? Really!? Seems to be "bad?" In quotes!?
