  1. She mentioned her dad about a dozen times in the first few episodes but I think that was mostly Bravo's editors dropping it in a bunch of times to introduce her to the show. Besides her dad, she hasn't name dropped anyone else, she isn't regaling anyone with stories of other washed up rock stars. It seems she keeps it to herself until the reveal becomes inevitable. In LA I dated a guy with a famous dad. He never mentioned it but some of our mutual friends would allude to his famous dad. In passing they might say it was a good idea to go to a party or a dinner because his dad would be there and it could lead to other connections. With famous people's kids they tend to either not shut up about it or don't say a word. I think Teddi falls in the latter. I also get the impression that JCM was not a constant presence in her life and they didn't spend a ton of time together while she was growing up.
  2. He's not a masterdebater, that's for sure! The guy sounds like he's gargling ball sacks every time he spews some nonsense argument
  3. So sinister but I find it very doubtful Jax could plot something so complex. Lucky for us, Kristen doesn't have a job which leaves plenty of time to brainstorm ways to make Jax miserable. If he did pull a move like that on Brittany, you know Kristen would personally fly her out and put her up in the guest room so they could torture Jax together until the end of time. The coven finally using their powers for good. They're not flawless but I appreciate this brand of feminism more than Lala's pussy power nonsense.
  4. I cosign what Stassi said about never understanding what Sandoval is talking about? it's like he has the critical thinking skills of a toddler. Tom makes a mean drink but conversation is NOT his forte
  5. "If Scheana did a crossword puzzle, every answer would be Rob." I've missed snappy Stassi. And omg Scheana is scarily obsessed!!
  6. The return of Classic Tom! Flat ironing and forehead shaving all in the same episode. Whata throwback!
  7. Kyle's story is that they only went to the new house to see the floors for inspiration and then despite herself, she fell in love with it. I'm sure there were other factors involved but that's a credible enough reason. In the end, I'm sure upgrading the floors raised the selling point of their home. With 5 dogs in the house, the hardwood would have been scratched to shit. I have a lot of thoughts about Encino. I used to have to drive there from my office in BH about once a month to meet with a client and it was the most dreaded part of the job. I wonder how much Encino is paying MDL to promote their city because it certainly isn't up and coming anytime soon. All the Encino B-roll they showed on MDL was from Studio City, about 10 miles away. I don't think the Agency needs any more publicity. They already list like 75% of the properties in LA. I can't go two blocks without seeing their logo. But I do find it hilarious that he's always wearing his logo on the show. I can't tell if it's stupid or adorable, like if Teddi went around wearing merch from her dad's tours. I'm on the fence about Teddi, on the one hand she knows she's a horrible hostess, seems to hate entertaining, and is totally cringeworthy every time someone steps foot in her house. She was super micro-managey at her house in Dana Point, the complete opposite of the trademarked chill, laid back attitude. And knowing all this about herself, I am baffled at why she would dive head first and host a sleepover after knowing these women for like a week. If I recall correctly, Erika was also leaning heavy on the chill/relax vibe when she first came on. The first time she had people over there were a bunch of gays for hire in the pool and all she served were cocktails and hot dogs. She's lucky Dorit wasn't around then because her serverware was just gingham napkins. To me, they're both unlikable in many ways and awful at hosting. Everything would have been fine if Teddi just chilled the fuck out, like she wants everyone else to do, about Erika going to a hotel. I'll give her the slight benefit of the doubt because she was obviously stressed to the max and also because Dorit blew it all out of proportion and what could have been a throwaway comment was beaten to death because Dorit would NOT let it go. I wonder if that's why Teddi insists on coming clean every time she learns something in confidence, because if she doesn't she fears Dorit will? The drama this season is so weird WTF?
  8. It's a matter of status. Bel Air is a very exclusive, expensive neighborhood bordering Beverly Hills. Encino is in the valley which mean it's about 10-20* hotter in the summer. It's supposed to be a nicer part of the valley but it's further out of the way, kind of a pain to get to by BH standards and doesn't have easy access to the luxury shops and markets in BH. For reference, the "nice" house Brandi bought was in Encino and LVP joked about it being too far away. Personally, even if I had all the money in the world, neither of those neighborhoods would be my first choice in LA. Both are super residential. If I wanted to live in the suburbs, I'd move out of LA.
  9. I don't think Brittany is smart enough to pull this move on purpose, but I wonder if her being so nice to him is thwarting his plans. He fully expected her to break up with him after the cheating and now he's still stuck with the most doting girlfriend in the whole world and will look EXTRA BAD if he cheats again.
  10. Yup! She totally has her kid gloves on with Teddy. I was getting flashbacks to Katie and her ring on a string. Erika spells it XXpen$ive so maybe she has a different definition of it too
  11. I think if it bothered Billie, she'd say something. It doesn't seem to offend her and all of the others call everyone else dude too. Most of the time it's used as a filler word, not just a pronoun. I do remember Lisa once telling someone (Lala or Sandoval, I think) not to call her dude and there has been a conscious effort not to. Billie could do the same and I'm certain Lala would make the effort.
  12. Also, Teddy is a full 20 years younger than LVP. She's closer in age to the VPR kids than Lisa. I feel like Lisa doesn't quite see her as a contemporary but rather a mentor for Teddi. She's treating her just like she treats the wait staff at her restaurant. She's also never foot the bill. Even Kim hosted a getaway. Erika's only contribution in 3 seasons was taking Kyle to Mykonos for 48 hours. No one but Mikey ever gets to ride the private Girardi jet. I'm thinking Erika Jayne is just a facade.
  13. She's giving Andy a run for his money. There won't be anything left for him to tiptoe around at the reunion with the way she's carrying on.
  14. I think Teddi is really shaping up to be Dorit 2.0 especially with Lisa grooming her as the new pet project. They're eerily similar. Two betas trying to be the alpha, and that's probably why they don't get along very well.
  15. This is the Rinna we always deserved. She sleeps through all the drama this season and comes out the other end with her bucket of popcorn. I love it!
  16. Does Teddi Bear not know she's getting played? I love Vanderpump but I'd be wary if she started taking me to lunch and giving me pet names.
  17. That fork she ate off of is atrocious! It had a fat wooden handle like something that came out of a shipwreck
  18. I think she's outsourcing it to a private label factory. I doubt Ryan is actually a partner/investor.
  19. Don't go talking about Myman like that or Lala is gonna lose it!
  20. I can't imagine anyone was upset by this. The women all agreed that it was time to wrap things up and I think Kyle suggested they head home and Teddi said something like that would be best. No one wanted to be there any more than Teddi. And as far as the production crew goes, they all got to beat the traffic back to LA instead of wrapping out at Teddi's place right at rush hour. Plus they accrued a buttload of OT from filming all night at Teddi's sleepover. I'm sure everyone was happy to get off early. I work in unscripted TV (not reality) and every day is absolute chaos. Anything less than a 10 hour day is rare so I'm not about to complain if production gets cut short.
  21. Also I died at how excited she was followed by the "you know I wear my emotions on my sleeve" bullshit as if she isn't the most guarded person in the entirety of reality television. And also the happiest she's ever been on this show is when Kim K offered her a nugget of video game fame. I think Erika Jayne is great for TV but not quite cut out for the RHOBH. Her ex husband is also Tom, her son is Tom Jr. That's a lot of Toms and it's very weird. I always had a rule that I would NEVER date someone with the same name as my brother or father, or worse, my mother (looking at you Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries). It's a very weird coincidence!
  22. Yeah, now I remember. He was at Musicians Institute but he should be long down by now. I know a few guys that went there and ended up being roadies for major bands. They're touring the world now. But most people end up kind of like Max, still living off the parents and only occasionally getting a music gig. My new favorite name for him! You win the internet today JAYNC
  23. Am I alone in that I don't want Dorit fired? She's a good villain, not actually evil just vapid and fun to hate watch. Every season needs a fall girl and without her we'd end up with another Eden. Or worse, it goes back to the Kim/Yolanda days where the drama gets more personal and teeters into unwatchable territory. After having seen the magazine, they didn't actually cut Dorit's spread. In the end they just cropped her face out and only used body shots of the jewelry. Knowing that, it seems like they filmed that scene just to add drama to the Dorit/LVP showdown.
  24. I think it's the other way around. James wanted to get famous, sidles up to Max and lets Lisa launch his DJ career.
