  1. Does the high horse live in Dallas so it can be part of Dallas society? I loved Cary's DGAF attitude in that exchange over the tweet, even if it was totally an act. Mark coming out as a surprise shouldn't be a surprise to anyone because Andy loves doing that type of shit. I think there's a surprise guest on at least 75% of the reunions. If you can talk about him getting his dick sucked at the Round Up on national TV, you should be able to face him at the reunion and you should have prepared for it happening without needing advanced warning. Plus, what's he going to do? Be calm and talk logically like he did at that party? He's not going to rampage across the set and assault Leanne with sandpaper, that's more her MO. This whole Round Up dick sucking situation is so ridiculous. I hope it is all they talk about next week. I hope the manager of the Round Up that says there's no dick sucking in his fine establishment and if that's what you're after you should try going somewhere else is another surprise guest.
  2. The episode threads have been pretty hysterical though this season. I will miss that.
  3. If you are too cranky then so am I because I had the exact same reaction.
  4. Oh, so Leanne just wanted to bake a pie for Cary with her hands. Glad that's been cleared up.
  5. I'm ~5 years younger than Peggy. When I was applying to colleges UCLA was my safety school. It was pretty easy to get into for California residents -- it's not like it's Berkeley. They had a rubric where you could look up your SAT scores and your GPA and see if you'd get in (assuming there was room, and back then there was room, it's more competitive now). If you were a CA resident you only needed a C GPA and semi-decent SAT scores to meet minimum requirements. The UCs were also still doing affirmative action back when she would have applied too, so that may have helped depending on the demographics of the applicant pool. I have no problem believing she could get in. Her graduating with an English degree is another story.
  6. Armenians are more Christian than anyone else, so it makes sense she'd be nailed to a cross like Vicki (oh and Jesus).
  7. Brianna looks good. CA real estate has steadily gone up, so I doubt they'll be losing their asses on the house.
  8. I can never tell if everyone is joking or if they are really not familiar with the slangs(tm Peggy) OG. Ice T had a an album in the early 90s called "O.G. Original Gangster" and the title track's chorus is pretty much "O.G. Original Gangster" over and over. Being that I was a white suburban preteen girl at the time and not yet the expert on street gang slang that I obviously am now, having majored in it at UCLA (not really), I'm not sure if the term predates his album, but afterwards it was definitely widely used.
  9. The conversation as shown made perfect sense. Vicki, being a drama queen, told Steve that one of her worries was how would they get her body back to the US should she die. Steve, used to her BS, said it wouldn't be a problem, they'd just tie a rope to her corpse and drag it behind the plane. It would be ridiculous for him to not insist that insurance cover it. It's why you pay for insurance. Why let the insurance company off the hook? And in personal injury cases it is 100% possible to sue the insurance company without first demanding payment from the insured. I don't care enough to go back and forth though and you sound like you are pretty certain in your beliefs.
  10. But the important question is how far are they all from The Round Up?
  11. Can you imagine all those assholes piling in a bus and going to the ER and acting like they did in Vicki's room when the doctor and paramedics were there? Iceland would issue a travel ban on Americans. I think at one point she was CEO of a mirror company or something like that. All their money is from Michael.
  12. I need to watch again, but it seems like Jen wasn't very clear on what happened when she told Kate. That might have impacted how Kate responded.
  13. When you obviously are not that sick, but f-ed up enough to need immediate attention you can get in and out quickly. Taking an ambulance helps put you at the front of the line too. I went to the ER around midnight on a Saturday night in LA (busy time in a busy city) and was in and out with a tetanus shot and 5 or 6 stitches in under an hour earlier this year. I'm not that elderly though, just starting to be an Old.
  14. If you read the articles, they specifically talk about his liability insurance refusing to settle and forcing it to go to court, dragging it out over 10 years, and ballooning the settlement from $500k to $12M and how the plaintiff was going after the insurance company and not Diko. I only corrected the assertion that someone died because things like that get posted on the forums and grow legs. I am not an expert in Diko's lawsuit, nor do I play one on TV. I just took the time to read 2 articles. I'm not saying they aren't scumbags, but I think maybe it is understandable in these circumstances. The plaintiffs and Diko wanted to settle for $500k. His insurance refused to settle, making it a lot more costly.
  15. I only got through D'Andra's, but I laughed over her saying maybe she'd use all her free time to get a neck lift.
  16. I don't think anyone died. One was paralyzed and the other injured to a lesser extent.
  17. Poor Jen. She really is the victim this time. I did enjoy Kate giving her the rape whistle even if it was making fun of the situation. "The guests all say they like sandwiches, so I was thinking I'd make tacos." Ok, Matt.
  18. I believe she said something to Tamara along the lines of "I'm 55. We've been friends for 10 years. I met you when I was 45." I do not know if it is true.
  19. They weren't even close to drunk yet when Lydia was sanctimoniously scolding them for not going with her. They had just sat down to dinner. The Whooping It Up started once Vicki got back to the hotel.
  20. I think you are wrong and it is actually "always be checking temperature".
