A lot of you are smart and break things down in a way that makes them easier to understand, especially the legal aspects of this case I am trying not to OD on the schadenfreude, but you see I married a guy who grew up in a cult that reminds me so much of Gothardism. Now mind you, he wasn't in it when we got together but got back into it after we got married. There was literally nothing about me or my life that said I was going to be a good church women or comply with any of their effed up rules. I was torn between wanting to work it out with the man I fell in love with while being framed as some kind of devil loving jezebel, which is kind of true but I didn't deserve to be treated poorly. All this to say is that to see someone like Josh actually get punished for wrong doings is major for me. The hypocrisy, the back biting, the gossiping I endured while in that ill-fated marriage still makes my blood boil, and I think this case has become a lightening rod for the anger and rancor I built up during my marriage. It's like Josh is a stand in for all of those nasty bigoted men who talked down on me. My main crime was not wanting to go to church, enjoying TV and listening to secular music, meanwhile their children were addicted to porn, committing adultery, physical assaults and fraud and just being rude in general. My hearts hurts for victims of CSAM, I hate Josh, his parents and his disgusting complicit wife. Even if he goes away for a long time I bet he'll never learn a damn thing.

We definitely have a few characters who have done heinous things right now, like Quinn, who tried to kill her son's brother/romantic rival with a sword she forged in her dungeon. And Pam, who used a damn bear as an attempted murder weapon! And don't forget Rick, who before shooting a gun randomly at the office, actually shot Grant Chambers. I think all of those instances were excused due to mental illness. I don't think Bill just wanted Ridge to take a nice cool dip in the ocean when he dumped him out of that helicopter. And Deacon has done a shit load of awful things, I think. So if they went there with Thomas I don't think that would be the last we saw of him. I REALLY hope they don't go there. Wow, this show is full of murderous assholes, huh? And now, because I can't have a non-pervy post- Don't think I haven't noticed fine-ass Zende! At first I felt bad about lusting after a tiny little baby just out of the crib, but the actor is 23 so it's all good. He reminds of me of one of my first ever crushes, Taimak, and I am here for it. I don't mind Deacon being a Real Househusband of LA, but if he is going to be a trophy husband, he better tighten up! Seriously, SK needs to get on whatever program WH is on. Yeah, my crush on nuThomas went from 10 to -5 when I saw how he behaved with Caroline. The hand on the leg was skeevy enough, but then locking the door was just plain scary. No bueno. I do like that they are doing an actual fashion related storyline, with Thomas trying to impress Ridge. I kind of wish it as only that, and not a competition for Caroline. I want to see Quinn pull Ivy over to the dark side and do some crazy shit to Steffy. Maybe some gas-lighting involving the ghost of Ally or some shit. I dunno, it's late and my interest in this show and Y & R is dwindling, I'm sorry to say.

I agree that KKL is looking really good these days but Rena Sofer is just everything to me... those eyes and that hair, I die! She is a beautiful. Character-wise, Brook and Quinn are both damaged, so I am not sure which would be the lesser of 2 evils for Deacon, who isn't a suitable mate for anyone. And yes, he does have to lose some damn weight, because his looks are the main thing he has going for him. In the contest between Steffy vs Ivy, I am team Ivy, and long as she doesn't go too far with the moral shit. I don't like slut-shaming in general, but don't mind someone calling a ho out over their man. I wanna see some extensions pulled out, if it has to come to that. I sure as hell don't think Liam is worth it, but a little cat fighting is good for a soap. In the contest between Rick and Maya vs everyone else, no matter how assy these two are I still root for them a little, because if I drink enough and squint my eyes hard enough they bear a passing resemblance to a young Mr. and Mrs P-Fat. Only in the looks department! We never ran a fashion house, and we like to think we are not assholes to everyone around us. No gun play, etc.

I loved everything about D'Angelo's first performance, the clothes, the choreography, the gorgeous instrumentation, and of course, D'Angelo himself. I wish I could hear more music like that on mainstream R and B stations, like back in the 90s. I fell asleep before his second performance, I will look it up if I can ever stop listening to Really Love.

I have to say thanks to this wonderful forum and you fabulous posters, for keeping me abreast of what's happening on B&B, I had a temporary change in my work schedule and haven't been able to watch. I used to watch on my lunch every day, so I've missed out for the last month. I'll be able to pick things up again the week after next. To be honest, reading the posts here are more entertaining than watching the show most of the times, the humor and insight from the posters here are highly entertaining. Since there has been a lot of Brook/KKL discussion here due to her hiatus, I wanted to chime in by saying that when I first started watching this show over 20(!) years ago as a teen, I was all about Team Moral, and adored Hunter Tylo's character Taylor. I had such a girl crush on her, and I definitely thought of Brook and the devil ho of the show. Man, I had strong feelings about that, you could tell me nothing bad about Taylor, and I couldn't understand why Ridge had such a hard time choosing when the obvious choice was beautiful, virtuous Dr. Hayes! And when Brook and Deacon had the affair that produced Hope, Brook definitely became a unredeemable trollop! I could see no redemption for this character, despite all of her wonderful accomplishments. Now that I am older and wiser and have had a few hard knocks and have made my own mistakes, I can appreciate the character of Brook now. I pick on KKL from time to time but I do think she has done a great job with this role. The me of 2014 would roll my eyes at Taylor and Stephanie Sr.'s claims of virtue and respectability. Time certainly does put things in a a different perspective! Sorry for any typos, I been drinkin', I been drinkin!

The only thing funnier than Ridge and his drawings was Quinn and Deacon making fun of said drawings, that tickled me thoroughly! Maybe I am just in a good mood, but today's show was delightful! I loved party atmosphere, the awkward moments, the snarky little comments, RS's scenery chewing (and I mean that in the nicest way possible, love her) and everyone looked amazing, even Kringe looked a little better than usual. And then we come to that ugly fucking 3 tiered nightmare Hope was wearing. I swear KMat must have pissed off the stylist, they are keeping her dowdy and plain. She is a cute girl with a lot of potential, but instead of taking advantage of her Blair Warner realness and going full on prep school princess they make her look like someone who rolled off the turnip truck, what a waste! They had Brook looking smoking hot, though. But, and I don't know if it's KKL's preference or what, but it's time to let go of the damaged yellowy straw and get a sharp honey blond short cut to maximize her MILF-y hotness. I enjoy Quinn and Deacon's little partnership, I like them together. I don't want to see them paired romantically, but I also don't want Quinn with Bill. Lordt (yes Lordt) Jesus this show needs some new male blood. And I am feeling @KLovestoShop's comment about real men on this show. Of course Liam and Wyatt are "real" in the sense that they probably have penises or whatever, there is nothing wrong with them per se, but dammit this is soap fantasy world! I want to see more men looking like DD or SK, or even young RM. In real life my preference is skinny dudes, but for a soap opera leading man they need to look more like Oliver, not like Wyatt, ya know?

Yes! I was ready to give the wedding a big F for fail. The pros were the gorgeous location and the yacht with the crew, but the cons were ugly dress, ugly brooch, ugly groom, ugly hair on the bride (what's up with Hopes stiff Barbie-like extensions?) and the whole scenario is just dumb as fuck but then... the leap of faith warmed my cold, jaded heart.

I hated that they turned Storm into a stalking psycho, only to kill him and the end. The Logan siblings had good family chemistry, and Storm was fine as hell. They killed off a good potential male lead to prop what would later on become one of the worst things about the show (HT/Katie).

Yesss, I love queen Rena and her portrayal of Quinn. I hate that they had her go so over the top with trying to kill Liam, I was hoping for some subtle gas-lighting and stalking, not full on ax murderer, perhaps culminating in the seduction and dumping of Liam. She is playing this Paris trip to hilarious perfection, looking like a spy out of an Alfred Hitchcock film. Yes, some of those gowns were pretty but the whole campaign skewed older. Plus, I can't imagine anyone under 70 wanting to wear that ugly ass brooch. And the whole idea of HFTF being eco-friendly while sucking up all those resources with workers and private jets and fancy cars and shit is just laughable. This would make more sense if they just admitted this shit is fluffy and shallow and meaningless, and stop trying to make it sound important. Hope would be a lot more fun if she shed the earnest bullshit and became a full on fluffy Paris Hilton lite socialite, that would be more fun. Aly is more suited to the earnest good girl role. Although I know if I was Oliver I would want to smack a bitch who I was trying to romance if she kept talking about someone else's romance. I know they are trying to build up a story line around Aly losing respect for Hope, I just wish the writing hadn't been so clunky and awkward with it,

Hey everyone! I am a refugee lurker from that other board, and I really enjoy reading most of your posts. At this point I am watching just to see what you guys have to say. I especially love the nostalgic talk, I have been a fan since I was a teen in the mid-90s, I might have to go to Youtube this weekend and watch some vintage clips. I don't have anything substantive to add at the moment, but I will throw a few things out there -The fact that Liam and Wyatt are not hotter is an ongoing issue for me. Seriously, the pretend son of RS and DD should be a swarthy GAWD with ice blue eyes, not a squawking chicken neck dude. And Liam is such a fucking lump of a guy with no body. Look, there is plenty of room in soaps for regular looking character types, but they messed up here. A cute crossed-eye gal like Hope deserves to be fought over by hotter guys. But, I am team Wype, only because I can least detect some fun, sexual chemistry between the two characters. Lope is an energy suck, and they are killing the young portion of this show. I do enjoy Ivy and Aly's little mean girl shit with Hope. I mean, I don't dislike Hope, but she needs a foil. Ivy is a good one but they need to step it up before it gets boring. KKL used to have chemistry with EVERYONE, but now she just seems over it. Let her get back to being a business woman who uses Deacon for dick once in a while, it doesn't have to be more than that. Katie/HT really is an awful creature isn't she? She just has no redeeming qualities. And this NuRidge is an absolute mistake, the recast should have been lean and elegant not big and musty. The RM Ridge could be a spoiled, flip-flopping oedipal ass, but I don't remember him ever being this much of a sociopath.
