  1. Ok, so why can it only say 3 words? Danger.Will.Robinson.
  2. How did the ‘robot’ learn English? Oh, and only one word at that? The writers are either on something or seriously dopey regarding Maureen’s balloon flight. A 5 year old knows balloons don’t land where they take off. This does not portend well for good storylines. Unless the viewer is a simpleton. Then all is well.
  3. Almost gave up in episode two, but I have a question which I haven’t seen addressed yet. How the hell does the ‘robot’ know English? Yeah, the “Danger Will Robinson” was cute, but nonsensical. If it can say that, why can’t it say anything else? Also mommy said some drivel about being trillions of light years from Earth if I heard that right. I’m pretty sure that’s not possible either to measure or theorize on, given the age of the universe. And the Millennium, I mean Jupiter 2 landing would have broken several backs. Meh. C-
  4. So is Liz the real Red’s daughter Cardie?
  5. Please tell me that the next episode is the series finale. Please. It’s just not right that the Americans will be ending and this trash will continue on.
  6. I just replied to the poster who lauded the show for reality, which isn’t there when explosions are ‘heard’ from the perspective of a camera in space. Audiences are assumed to be ignorant. Most are. Another example, gun shots galore should deafen the shooter without ear protection. Constant acceleration should not make Avasarala black out either. It’s not additive. I’m not sure if that’s what was implied, but it seemed like it. It is all entertainment though, and I still like this show. I only nitpick because I care.
  7. It’s not too bad physics wise, and the visuals are fantastic, but there are too many loud explosions and rocket noise. No air = no sound Very few shows or movies get this right.
  8. I applaud the show for highlighting the issue. Not sure why parents would consent in this country though, unless maybe gold digging (see Melania). Otherwise, I hope this is the last season of this dreck.
  9. The madcap adventures of ...whatever. Simpleton episode, what with the auction bs, wet painting, villa borrowing. Just too juvenile, which is saying a lot for the show. And where's the baby again? A pseudo sex scene, after reuniting with Tom, but no Agnes. Again, very poor writing. The only somewhat redeeming part was the turn at the end but still dumb as can be. What happened, red and dembe just got some coffee mid torture then came back to finish? WTF? I also don't like Dembe in that role, as bad guy, torturing the guy, just because Red says so. He was estranged not too long ago but I guess we're not supposed to remember that. And he can't sit next to Red at the motel pool? Come on. D+
  10. Thanks coppersin , great link. I may have to rewatch. A lot.
  11. Cole said at the end that " they are coming for us," or something similar. How does he know this? Olivia can just bop titan around as she wishes now, and be on the defensive. And if she got to where she is by manipulating time/events, why does she not remember anything of it, or does she still have yet to go 'back' and start all of the machinations? Also, who stuck the coordinates for titan to the tree? It was a good season, but too darkly shot. I guess that hides poor choreography and lacking sfx better though.
  12. So how does the n word fit in?
  13. The Potus elect came by to Carrie's, then Carrie left before PE and her detail, none of whom set the alarm.
  14. The trace led to the diner, as Quinn's gps said, "You have arrived at your destination." After the diner, he went to the house on his own. As he was driving, he was searching, trying to recall where the house was and even said to himself, "Come on, where is it?"
  15. Hello all, loving the show, except for the sounds in space, grrrrrr. Is it ok to ask about the Churn audiobook here and what relation it has to the show? Don't see a thread for that kind of info.
  16. That's the problem I have with the exposition, or lack thereof. Why hasn't Wyatt gone to Flynn for an explanation of why he named the wrong killer? They have had plenty of scenes together.
  17. Cooper tv said^^^^^^ I think it just isn't addressed for plot reasons (Lucy/Wyatt). Otherwise Lucy should be encouraging him when Wyatt helps her with her 'mission'. To not help him see that he can change history too is nothing but selfish on her part.
  18. I must have missed Wyatt saying that. We're also still waiting for more on the notebook. Lucy has made no entries so far. I wonder what the plan was, if the writers had a plan that is.
  19. Did I miss it or was it not explained why Wyatt is the only one who can't get his loved ones back? Flynn? Yes. Lucy? Yes. Wyatt? No?
  20. Did I miss something or is this discussion of something NOT in this episode? What YouTube video? Also strange that the kid was all, "I'm innocent, I don't want a plea bargain", then all of the sudden is scared of a trial, which is what you get when you don't plea bargain. I hope we see how the hell the PEOTUS's own private dining area was bugged. She needs to be more careful, and Carrie too. She should have been on watch as she knows Saul suspects her of advising PEOTUS. Still excellent TV, a soothing balm after the usual garbage on broadcast television.
  21. I don't think it will be a fail, as this show involves fairly simplistic writing, and that usually means a Hollywood happy ending. Along the lines of poor writing, it annoyed the hell out of me when Rufus asked Bass "why he was in the white man's law enforcement ," or words to that effect. As if only white people can govern, police, or run towns. A major reason there are so many problems in that area today. Then at the end of the episode, Rufus wants Bass to take credit for what he did. Irksome writing.
  22. So much cringeworthy writing/directing. I have Never seen as faked a kiss as the bathroom shit. They showed only the back of Lizzie's head. Is she that scared of kissing another woman? If so, just have the other haremette barge in earlier. "Oh no, I only have 2 darts! What do I do now." Then Lizzie escapes how? At at least I have Homeland back finally.
  23. Good idea, being drunk may help make this tolerable. At the beginning Harold says, "ask Red" about the dioramas as if he knows all. In fact, he knew nothing and even thought it was the killer leaving them. The premise of the show btw, is Red bring the bad guys to the FBI not the other way around. That was the deal, remember? The whole diamond mine crap was crap too. Stupid henchman deserved to die for being so gullible. He should have either checked the gun first, or at least tried to shoot Red. Preferably both. The whole purpose of killing two 'bad' Africans was to save innocents or just to proselytize about the situation? Obviously the latter. The mines will continue with someone else reaping the profits now. Ok, chase the bad guy who runs upstairs to the transporter and beams over to knock out Aram. After shooting two cops apparently out for a stroll. Got it. Anyone notice Lizzie was leading the 'swat' team into the building? Notice lizzie ALWAYS wears black pants? And she pulls the magic stop lever for a free falling elevator. Yes, a good episode this was not. Especially without some sweet Navabi.
