Speaking of Dembe, does anyone remember when he was pissed at red for continuously lying to Lizzie? The writers don’t.

The writers must be thinking TOS fans will squee with delight over the inclusion of Pike’s future here. Unfortunately it’s been brought here in a clunky way. How in the hell would the crystal keeper know that Pike is seeing a terrible future, not a pleasant one, his reaction aside, which could have been reacting to something happening to others btw. And why does the crystal choose to reveal only a portion of his future. Crystals are a bad idea unless they are dilithium crystals. And how does he know that that future is unchangeable? The crystal manual? Also, why does Pike keep taking the first suggestion Michael give as the best and only course of action? Like others have said- Black alert time.

I don’t know. Rooting for a lying, murdering criminal over an honest agent, who we’ve been shown is a good person, is just a bit weird.

Red was adamant about finding who put him in prison. Did the writers forget about that? Wouldn't you cover the fire escape/back door during a raid? Moeeau would’ve been shot by Dembe when he put the password in for the usb. I think the actress playing Samar just got sick of this dreck and wants out. When will this ever end?

So did we all miss it or was there some explanation as to why the hell Pike didn’t use the transporter to either get them out of there or pluck Airiam out of space? Seems like a huge plot hole. It’s bothersome if it was missed. I keep getting the tech from The Orville confused, ie no transporter. The Discovery could sure use Mercer’s security chief. Possibly a drinking game whenever the word logic is said. I’m guessing 50+. Spock was logical, but extremists? Come on.

Was there ever any explanation of how easy it was to follow the bank prez? He just pops in for a drink at the local pub and everyone jumps right into position? What if he went straight home? What was the plan? Spader can’t/won’t die. His mood and acting when realizing it might be over was great. Without him, there is no show.

You are correct in that they aren’t the same. There would be nothing between Gordon and the incoming ‘wave’ and it wold act like a projectile. A very high speed projectile. Not to mention the acceleration he’d experience.

The atmosphere was maybe 25m sq, which in an explosion would be unlikely to push him in that manner and debris from the explosion would probably have killed him. It’s physics. Also no sound from the explosion would have been heard like that, but that’s tv. As you somewhat implied, the “plan” to let the shuttle go was iffy and definitely caused Orrin’s death. They should have at least planted another security officer in the shuttle to secure that canister once they were in space.

Major mistake in showing Gordon being pushed back by the explosion of the shuttle. What was pushing him back? There are no shock waves in space. And tractor beams are a thing? Should have used one to keep Orrin’s shuttle from doing such a potentially catastrophic crash landing in the beginning. Also why the hell didn’t Gordon stun his buddy in the shuttle instead of bailing on him? Stun, put him in a suit, then go. I’m pretty sure the canister could survive being dropped from 5 feet if it could survive a torpedo launching.

Ok, so why the hell is Lizzie so broken up about Red again? She thinks he’s not her pop, but a fake. She is the one who put him in prison, what has changed since then? He knows the whole truth but won’t tell her, so why care? Shooting someone in a car without earplugs and your hearing will suffer! The blacklisted guy knew the codes because he watched the input before killing him. Still shitty writing, still hate watching. Any more extrajudicial killings to come?

My question is “why not just disable the pain sensors then?” It is funny how last week quite a few here didn’t like the obvious idea of Issac being the savior, yet it happened, and so many enjoy it. I think a simulation or anything else more imaginative would have been better. Isaac being saved by Yaphit was also too Hollywood of an ending for me. I still like the show and its dark turns! Enough of the Ed/Kelly romance crap!

I just watched this episode and didn’t realize that I missed the one before. Thats an hour of my life I get to keep! I can’t remember, how did Katarina Rostrova die? Does anyone remember that Dembe was absolutely fed up with Red last season? I can’t stand how Harold enables Red. His character is almost the worst written.

Well they still need to reference the kid otherwise it’s shitty writing. Lizzie has a daughter, and not one single mention in umpteen days/weeks. How about a phone call? Wouldn’t take much screen time. Cut out one of Aram’s nonprofessional gushes for example.

Has it been established that this is the last season? Please say yes. If so, why all of this Samar illness bs. There is no time for it. Have the writers or show runners changed? Did they forget about Agnes or just don’t know anything at all about writing a story. If there is no time to include her in the story, guess what? She shouldn’t have been introduced in the first place. This is almost as bad as the Following. Idiocy

I wonder how many seasons this dreck will drag out for. 1). Harold making excuses for Red shooting someone in front of everybody? FFS. He is not that valuable. 2). THEN, Harold saying he’ll shut down the ENTIRE task force, which was so valuable a minute ago, if little Lizzie’s feelings are being bruised?? FFS. This is so bad. Can we wrap it up finally?
