  1. Uh oh, where could head injury dad be?? Yes. That's a whole lot of this in one sitting.
  2. I'm tired of Corduroy philosophizing all the time.
  3. Only 3 more hours left of this, people. Let's do this!
  4. As far as making up names for characters, I think that is part of the board "culture" to a certain degree. A lot of the posters here used to post on TWOP and the goal was always to snark on the shows while still appreciating them. "Father Pee Pee Pants" and "Camp Dinner Bell" are two examples. You can always ask someone what they mean by a certain nickname. One thing I like about this site is that you can criticize the show. Go on the facebook page and mention that the show has declined, and you'll be called out for "not being a real fan."
  5. They showed this late nights in the states for a bit in the 80s, but I don't think he has much of a following on this side of the Atlantic.
  6. No, that's a different one. Later, if I'm not mistaken. In this one, Laura knocks the loaded gun over and it hits Charles. I didn't realize Burl Ives plays the blind man.
  7. I just watched part of "The Hunters" which is one I've never heard of, or seen discussed here, to the best of my knowledge. Charles gets shot while out hunting with Laura and and old blind man has to help her find Mr. Edwards. Not a bad episode. I think it was originally a two-part episode. Now I'm watching "Blizzard," which I've probably seen 20 times. In hindsight, you could totally tell that nice guy from the beginning was going to die by the end.
  8. Yeah, I saw the last one is 2 hours. That's a lot of talking about feelings. You're totally right about the low-budget nature of this show. Find an abandoned location, film the cast talking about feelings, wear a bad wig, talk a lot, have maybe 2-3 walkers. Repeat.
  9. Good luck. It's pretty hokey. It's one of the few episodes I actually saw in its original run.
  10. Ah, go ahead, this is a safe space. Of people who watch a show about people who come back to life and then seemingly live forever without any particular rules of science.
  11. I can do that with sitcoms or reality shows, but with dramas that build on the previous episodes it's hard to just jump in.
  12. I'm a completionist. I would have to go back to the last one I saw, otherwise it would bother me. My personal neuroses.
  13. Eh, I've thought about it. I'd have to go back to when that family was still alive, and I'm just not that interested. The last one I saw was the first one with John.
  14. I, for one, am looking forward to "Here's Negan." It was a really great comic series. That doesn't mean it'll be good on TV, but I'll watch it anyway.
  15. On a related note, it looks like a lot of people already left, because I'm not getting the usual onslaught of work emails. Two more zoom meetings and I'm off until the 30th!
  16. You are wrong. I think it's been added in the last 6 months.
  17. Anyone else have trouble getting on this site lately, especially this morning?
  18. I don't mind gore, but I can't stand jump scares. So I generally skip the slasher genre.
  19. I'm sad to say Ben Watkins has passed away at the age of 14.
  20. I wish the zombie apocalypse would come and get me out of this f***ing zoom meeting.
